Any indication if OP is legit or not?

I'd be happy to do it if he pays me in advance or escrows .5 BTC with a trusted forum member or members.

Whats with the freeroll?

Its a 27 person SNG? Can you schedule it. I doubt anyone is interested in sitting at their computer waiting for 27 players.
107  Economy / Gambling / Re: CoinSpeak.net - [NEW! Free-play mode] Unique game of skill and persuasion! on: December 25, 2013, 05:25:30 PM
What do bots have to do with collusion exactly? No one is going to use bots.

You aren't treating collusion in the same way poker sites do at all. The good ones at least don't even offer double or nothing SNGs anymore.

Why? Because they figured out the best way to secure games against collusion was to not offer games where massive collusion rings had a huge incentive.

I think you entirely underestimate how hard people are going to come at this if you actually get games running. The only way you are going to stop it is if the fees are high enough they can't win.

Good luck with running the most collusion friendly game I've ever seen. If that isn't a big enough problem people will just offer the judge part of their winnings if you somehow ever have an honest game.

The random disconnects on the client would be bearable if it would at least activate your timebank. Instead if you get disconnected you have 10 seconds to get back in or you hands get folded.

Which means your hand gets folded.
111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a bitcoin wallet that doesn't cost multiple gigs to install? on: December 23, 2013, 08:14:26 PM
I use multibit which doesn't require the entire block chain. I'm sure there are others as well.

Look in the alternative clients subforum.

Not sure if its over 10 yet, but either way the card animations would be nice. Should probably be optional though as the site is pretty quick now and I'm sure a lot of people would rather have the speed over animations.

115  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Do you have to "Sweep" Brain/paper wallets? on: December 17, 2013, 06:05:18 PM

You anyways have to send a transaction and pay for a fee, so it wouldn't be cheaper to re-use too...

Oh, its two fees if you send to 2 different addresses. But if you are sending money out anyway you'd have to send to a new address and send the funds out of that address anyway. So the fees would be the same if both the new and old address had just 1 incoming transaction right?
116  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Do you have to "Sweep" Brain/paper wallets? on: December 17, 2013, 04:52:34 PM
I keep seeing people say that paper/brain wallets must be swept. As I understand it when you send an amount that isn't the full amount of an address it sends a "change" transaction that sends the remaining amount back to the address.

Can you not do this with paper wallets for some reason?
117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How long until BTC gambling sites are shut down? on: December 17, 2013, 04:45:10 PM
Converting to tor would be a huge hit to cryptocurrency gambling. Some of the people are not going to want to go to the added trouble, and others are not going to like the illegality of it. I do not think that BTC gambling sites will be hit for another few years though, it will take some of the mainstream online poker fans getting involved before that happens.

I wouldn't think that is necessary. Aside from domains getting seized they usually just go after the money.

As long as exchanges are operating there will be bitcoin gambling.
118  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Stay away from Coinbase on: December 17, 2013, 04:40:21 PM
I've seen reports from users about the wait time. Can someone tell me why they do this? I mean a transaction should be fast but they delay it for what? Why?

Once they give you the bitcoins they are gone. They have to make sure the transaction won't be reversed. What I don't understand is why they don't let you deposit funds, wait 5 days, and then buy the coins if you want. Seems better than holding BTCs for 5 days.

119  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Stay away from Coinbase on: December 17, 2013, 05:49:23 AM

I really prefer US based, US venture funded, because of the fact that I can get legal issue solved.

I know this is why I used coinbase. Yeh, its a pain waiting or completing the steps for instant buys, but I'd rather deal with than the mess at all the exchanges.
120  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason for Today's Crash: China Bans Bitcoin Payment Processors on: December 17, 2013, 02:16:29 AM
If it is as simple as a mistranslation/misquote why is btcchina down more than any other exchange. Presumably the people on their can read the original statement as it was written.
