81  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you need licence to open up an online Bitcoin Casino? on: January 07, 2014, 09:42:21 PM
Seems like you might draw unwelcome attention if you open a US based gambling website.  I assume they are more relaxed in countries like Panama, as long as you pay them some sort of license or tax money?

Don't forget it is illegal to offer a casino to US players.

Just like any other Dice site we make money when users lose.

Either you are not very smart or you think we are dumb enough to believe this.
84  Economy / Gambling / Re: ZeusDice.com - 0% HOUSE EDGE - EARN REWARDS - Launching Today on: January 05, 2014, 01:11:52 AM
How exactly would you make money offering a game with a ~.02% player edge?

Pretty sure this game isn't fair. Based on the absurdity of offering a game with a player edge and how fast I'm losing units.

How often do the leaderboards update? They don't seem to be current.

The animation is speedy enough I don't think that is really an issue. Only real issue I see is that the flop should come out all at once as opposed to the board running out one card at a time. Animation should go just like real poker. Flop, Turn, River. Would even speed it up a little if that is an issue for anyone.

The only other improvement I can see is some sound effects if that is possible.

Yes I can play with the wallet open but I can't close the wallet without exiting the client.

Client needs to be fixed so it doesn't open multiple windows when you click tournaments, wallet, etc.

CtrlCrash: you must go to PayOUT and say there you want the transfer,
after a review its gonna be transfered.

I've been waiting days. I click transfer and it sends them right back to credits every time.

I emailed the designated email on your website and got a bounceback. I come here and you say my account doesn't exist. Then you say I have to go to the site and request it. Which I already did 4 days ago.
94  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetcoinPoker.com - 10 Free Credit Beta Launch - Bitcoin & Litecoin Poker on: December 28, 2013, 01:47:41 AM

1 btc and 5 btc guaranteed tournaments coming this week.

Any more details on these? Buyin?

95  Economy / Services / Re: Poker coaching - get the edge! on: December 28, 2013, 01:39:44 AM
12% ROI .... you would have made a lot more than that buying bitcoins this year Wink

Don't think this means what you think it does.

A 12% ROI with an average buyin of $40 would be $4.8 per game. I don't have any experience with normal speed single table tournaments(money was always better in turbos or hyper turbos), but my guess is 12% pre rakeback would be high.

Yes it was, you have already been credited and your email has already been responded to.  Congratulations on the win!

Thanks.

Just wanted to say they responded to my email and fixed this promptly.
97  Economy / Gambling / Re: FourOneFive.com BTC Poker - Just Launched! on: December 28, 2013, 01:10:16 AM
If you look at the details of the guarantee you will see that there is a minimum player requirement of 8.  So if only 8 people register, the house contributes .2 BTC (2000 chips to the pot).  With the freeroll... Please try and understand that we just launched this site and are working hard to try and get players like you.   We can't start a tournament for .1 BTC  that only has 4 players registered.  Tomorrow is contingent on getting at least 20 registered for the freeroll.  I'm happy to process a withdrawal for you if you'd like.  The freeroll is a way to gauge interest and get traffic.  Tell you what - if there are not enough players registered for the freeroll tomorrow, all registered players (who met the minimum deposit req.) will receive 10 chips on the house.  Hopefully you can appreciate that we are working hard and it is difficult to start an online poker room Smiley

I don't care what you do, but you need to decide what it is and do it.

Putting up freerolls and "guarantees" that will just be canceled doesn't do anything for you or players.
98  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetcoinPoker.com - 10 Free Credit Beta Launch - Bitcoin & Litecoin Poker on: December 28, 2013, 12:19:21 AM
Join the 50 credit freeroll now!  We are on the last stage of late registration and over 40 players are playing on 5 tables!  Win your free btc today!

Emailed support.

I won the 50 chip freeroll, but the prizepool was only 10 chips and I received 5 chips instead of 25. Assuming this was a mistake which will be fixed.
99  Economy / Gambling / Re: FourOneFive.com BTC Poker - Just Launched! on: December 28, 2013, 12:10:12 AM
Just added a weekly 10k guaranteed (1 BTC).  Ring games as low as 1/2 NL HE.  1 chip=.0001 BTC.  Come play with us!

No offense, but I'm not sure I want to deposit for a guarantee when the freeroll was supposed to be today and now its tomorrow, but won't really be tomorrow either.

What happens when no one deposits to play the 10k guaranteed? My hunch is it gets canceled or postponed.
100  Economy / Gambling / Re: FourOneFive.com BTC Poker - Just Launched! on: December 27, 2013, 08:03:00 PM
Freeroll got pushed back I guess.

Waited for it to start only to realize it isn't until tomorrow now.
