Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin now slowly drop should i sell?
|

A lot of crypto-based publications wrote that January isn't the best time to be invested in cryptos. They based on previous years that every January the price drops and has been consistent over the past 4 years. If you'll remember December 2016's price peaked at $1,100 but then dropped to around $700 mid-January. Moreover, a lot of people (majority in Asia) are exchanging their cryptos to fiat in preparation for the Lunar New Year. These are the causes why Bitcoin is dropping.
In hindsight, while the value is low, it's also a good time to buy Bitcoin. I guess patience is key when it comes to cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: facebook bans bitcoin

I'm not that surprised. Facebook has been hit with many issues with its content lately. Most notably with "fake news" and the social media being used as propaganda. I think they're cutting off all possible liabilities and they might go back to their old style of post priorities right? The one where they would prioritize posts from friends and families rather than paid posts.

Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the risk of holding Bitcoin?
|
on: January 30, 2018, 12:48:08 AM

Do you mean literally holding Bitcoin or getting into Bitcoin? I'll just get into both, I guess. If you buy Bitcoin and then holding them, you'll be placing them in wallets. These can be either software or hardware, but one is not better than the other, they both have their pros and cons. The next is getting into Bitcoin, the risks involved there are, of course, Bitcoin's value is volatile and the price can be $10k today and $1 tomorrow, no one really knows. (I exaggerated on the price so don't @ me please)

Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Why the fuck did Satoshi implement the 1 MB blocksize limit?
|
on: January 29, 2018, 09:02:30 AM
|
@OP, I agree with your argument. As per game theory and the assumptions you have made, I don't see a reason why the block size limit has to stay at 1 MB.
Newbie question here, is there any way to change the block size limit? How feasible it is to do? Would it require a hard fork?
Well, that's why there is a current "civil war" within the Bitcoin community because of this. There are groups that want to scale Bitcoin and others just want to stay in place. Again, that's why the forks of Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold happened and I believe there are more to come or happened already. BCH has an 8MB block size limit if you're looking for one with a bigger block size.

Nice way to gain affiliates. Only 20 mbtc monthly poker free roll? so basically you are gaining the massive number of affiliates by providing 20 mbtc monthly? Not a bad trick at all. Nitrogensports already have massive poker free rolls so your 20mbtc is nothing. Make it at least 200 mbtc if you want the attention of real poker players. Hope you will ignore my offensive tone and get the point. No offence taken in your reply. We are a small fish in a big pond currently, give it time and I'm sure we can get to the 200 mBTC freerolls!

Hi game-protect, this will be our final answer to you.
Why don’t you reach out to NitrogenSports yourself and ask if you can have a free roll just like we did? That way you won’t feel at a disadvantage.
I’m glad you brought up AskGamblers questioning basically their integrity, you can tar SBR and your site with the same brush using exactly the same analogy you pertained to in your post.

Hi game-protect, thanks for the multitude of questions. The tournament is only open to players that come via our affiliate link, you can view this in the Poker Section of Nitrogen when you look at the tournaments. Registration will open 3 hours before. https://imgur.com/a/yMS0z1xbit - yes we are an affiliate of that site, 1xbet we have nothing to do with (they also have a high rating on AskGamblers having recent had their blacklist removed). You will notice that 1xbit has a low rating on our site plus a mention in the banking section of the review of a few players having had issues in the past. In our view this does not mean we will automatically label a brand as a scam. A brand shutting down and running off with players money is a scam. I have no issue with bitcasino.io and it seems there was never a scam and Peter was paid out. I don't want to discuss separate agendas here. - 7Bitcasino + Argocasino + Betchain + Betchan + Beteast + Fortunejack + mBitcasino in my personal experience of playing with these brands, and listening to others and reading content from very large trusted sites such as AskGamblers, they have nothing but glowing reports of these brands. You'll notice in our review of Beteast, it pertains to the .co.uk site being UK facing and having the correct license and the .eu has a GC license. If you've further issues then please drop me a PM and I will get to it in due course. I do not wish to derail this thread when the onus should be on the 20 mBTC poker freeroll.

Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How I can make money with cryptocurrencies?

Making real money isn't hard, you can make a good monthly income from Trading and Investing in Bitcoin. For that you need to have good trading skill, Enough knowledge , and good healthy mindset. First find a good trading strategy and practise it harder and then start Trading from it. Trading is the best way to earn bitcoins. There are few more which i think is not as good as trading. They are Investing in Faucets (not a good option), Gambling and casino's, Earning bitcoins from Marketing a companies offers and services, Selling your own products and services.
IMO Bitcoin is not nearly there as a stable income—unless you were one of the firsts to invest in it and or you're trading huge amounts—but it is enough to make EXTRA INCOME on. I've profited from it having the opportunity to enter Bitcoin while value was around $4k.

Private keys needed to access a Bitcoin address are stored on a “bitcoin wallet.” Specifically, wallets will allow you access to your public Bitcoin address and sign off on transactions. Few factor to keep in mind when choosing the best bitcoin wallet are anonymity, control and security.
