1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is technical analysis useful? on: June 20, 2018, 11:25:01 AM
Do you believe in the reliability of information obtained by technical analysis on crypto-currency market?
I think, TA just provide you some useful information that can help you in your trades. There are many factors that affects the success of your trades and you shouldn't solely rely on the data being provided by TA. We can take analysis we want, as long we understand and get profit it will be fine. if you sell when something is overbought or buy when its oversold, youre gonna miss alot of the tops of runups and get cut by the falling knife as it just becomes even more oversolid.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: actual number of people using Bitcoin? on: June 20, 2018, 11:16:39 AM
Is there a way to determine the number of people who are actually using Bitcoin till date? Who would have access to such information? Meaning a way to find out, how many new people have used Bitcoin in 2016 , so that we can say exponential growth is natural not artificially created by hoarders.
We can not say, I think, it is easy to determine on small scale, like number of bitcoiner on one country, as for me there are 159.890 members already registered on our local exchanger which is all of members need to provide their identity to open an account. Say, maybe conduct a survey or something or watch the bitcoin market.
3  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Merit not for sale! on: June 19, 2018, 07:55:01 AM
I hope everybody would be fair about this new feature implemented by admin theymos.
This thread is for the purpose of awareness that merit is given to a constructive and quality post. I have made a thread here in the market place section, hoping that there will not be such things like buying and selling merits. Let's work with our own asses.

P.S.
OP  is not asking attention, read and understand.  Obedience is better than sacrifice.

-
EDIT UPDATE
For those who wants to receive merits for quality post. Check this thread, Challenging and Helpful.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3048258.0
Pay for play "merit" isn't something I know much about. I think though a demerit system might not be a good idea for the exact reason that it might turn into Reddit. And this merit system can also be exploited by many various ways such as selling it.
4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Making 1% Daily on: June 19, 2018, 07:47:53 AM
Hello,

Would it be possible to make 1% of your capital every day?

This would be 30% in a month, this is a lot.

It really comes to your capital:

1% of 100 would be 1$ daily, so 30$ on a month.
1% of 1000 would be 10$ daily, so 300$ month.
...

Is trying aiming at 1% daily too much? to ambitious?
I think It is good that you ask about earning in percentages because not all knows of the possibility of earning when you count based on percentage. What you have to do is to make a data for the next three days, and see how much you earn per day. Set plan always the concept of 1 % daily is good as long you keep your system intact and have discipline in trading.
5  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Criminals and Bitcoin on: June 18, 2018, 11:03:59 AM
I don't think so that Bitcoin can be a danger to society, since the problem is the society and its people. I am quite sure that a large percentage of the malicious usage located itself to cryptocurrencies focused on offering people the privacy they are looking for.

We can not tell how many people use bitcoin. I guess there must be a Chinese Bitcointalk equivalent. Then extrapolate numbers from that with updated information from public wallet providers, like Blockchain, and also many people are using multiple wallet for security reason.
7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade is more a lucky thing or skill on: June 16, 2018, 07:14:33 AM
I'm not sure if I have time to play with charts and trade a lot, like I have seen some youtubers doing.
They make you really believe that is more like a skill and if you are good at it, it works.
My friend told me that is just about how lucky you are, and not a skill.
So, should I stick with holding or playing day trade is a better option?
Every day in the trading it gives us the experience or skill, because while taking on trading we are increasingly thinking about how we can improve our investment.
8  Economy / Speculation / Re: Those who sold bitcoin are in for a big loss on: June 16, 2018, 07:03:07 AM
Montana to be a Bitcoin Mining Hub

Check it out!

“This is obviously going to be revolutionary.”

This would be the second large mining operation to find Montana in as many years. Back in 2016, Project Spokane, LLC launched its site near Missoula. It’s already one of the largest energy consumers in the region, housing a 20 megawatt facility, employing at least 25 locals.
Not losing the loss when the bitcoin is replaced, it is depleted in their use, they can invest in altcoin their bitcoin because they think it's going to grow, it's our strategy because we use bitcoin.
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the useful tips for beginners? on: June 14, 2018, 06:26:49 AM
Hello guys and gals , it is certain that the field of trading is very profitable, but regrettably, I have seen many beginners start in this area without any knowledge of the basics. In fact, this class always fails and lose a lot of money because of their hastiness or rashness.

So, according to my experience, I want to give some useful tips, and hope they will help everyone, and will be as the following :

1- Read and learn the basics of trading:

-I think the best way to start understanding this field  is by reading books related to digital currencies,  but unfortunately, the issue that many people  read only the first pages of the book, then they stop.

"The more that you read the more things you will know, the more that you learn, the more places you'll go "
                                                                                                                                                            -Dr. Seuss
I suggest some books, and they will be as the following :
Cryptocurrency: Beginners Bible:

Mastering Bitcoin for Dummies:

Cryptocurrency Trading & Investing

-Learn how to analyze and deal with different situations ( pump, dump ..) in a smart way. Plus,  try to help yourself  with yourself, Do not complain and ask for help from the others, because no one is in your place. And even if you fail in the first attempts and lose a lot of money, then It is not the end of the world.
Believe me, learning from failed experiences will help you in order to improve your next choices, and you may start to gain a significant proportion of money.

2-Stay away from media news:

Media are always manipulating traders through some false news and even the social media (Twitter, Facebook..), They may even control what happens in the market (crisis, jump), in order to achieve the interests of some (the capitalists) and regrettably, many believe the information and fake predictions.
" Do not be a sheep and act like a wolf "

3- Be patience  and  try to be brave , not afraid:
The field of trading is profitable when you are patient and not hasty like many, and of course you must take advantage of the opportunities intelligently.
Fear is one of the most important obstacles that lead to losses, especially in difficult situations (big crash), like, panic selling...

IMO, Courage is by taking the risk, especially when there is an unexpected event (Big drop).
"Big risk, Big gain."

Cheers,  Grin

I would also like to know what I learned as a trader, first of all we need to observe each market so we know every market behavior, observe a few months, and when it first knows, invest in small, and try to grow in trading.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Digital money or virtual currency? on: June 13, 2018, 10:02:32 AM
Hello friends.
I have a problem to share.
My country is average. They are too familiar with outdated and old technologies.
In my country many people still understand Bitcoin as virtual currency. BTC does not bring anything to life. They just think Bitcoin investment is gambling, chance, black red.
Why?
Why do not they look at Bitcoin, ETH or blockchain technology for the present.
Blockchain minimizes transportation costs, intermediates and risks.
Personally, I always try to absorb and learn nonstop.
And you? How is your country?
The use of digital money is a long period of time still used by many people, but for me I would rather have the virtual currency today, because it is quick to earn income on virtual currency when there is a big investment that you know how to use it. Many wealthy today or other countries use virtual currency to invest.
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trust you trading experience and don't panic on: June 13, 2018, 09:48:13 AM
We should trust our experience in trading even though the situations got worst, and I don't think panic selling is the solution. What will happen to your future profit if you sell it all due to you're panicked? That's why we should stay stronger and keep the faith burning so we could stand against negative speculators.
Its yes, during my long time trading experience I have not panic yet, because I know every action or move of cryptocurrency just in case it goes down, over a period of time being a trading too much I made a mistake, so that mistake was a lesson for me.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FUCK! The Bitcoin is dead again. This time for sure. on: June 13, 2018, 09:38:03 AM
Large groups of well paid, organized, funded professionals with clear objectives and good management - (like R3, hyperledger, ethereum, others) are sure making those Core programmers look like the silly little whiny bitches that they are.  Core is going NOWHERE and getting there pretty damn fast.  Meanwhile, very sophisticated advance is being done every day in other part of crypto/blockchain.

This is 100% the end of bitcoin as we know it.  Good thing too.  This 'open source', 'no leadership', 'no organization' thing was always a load of bullshit.
Bitcoin is not dead, bitcoin may be dropped right now, but it does not mean that it can not be lifted again, many countries still use bitcoin, and even wait a lot of time is the bitcoin again up again.

My strategy is that I have two investments, the first investment is long term, I will wait for success or even increase the 100% coin that I invest and the second investment is daily porfit, while waiting for long term investment I'm still working.
14  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market is slowly degrading on: June 12, 2018, 09:43:00 AM
Dont panic at first. stay still .. wait for the right moment. try other stuff , then be back on the increasing market value of the your assets.. Market place is not so stable on some point, just have enough knowledge in your game. find a fast moving game plan so your coins, will not be stagnated.
Yes, the market is slowly moving downward or higher, in case the coins in the market go down, do not panic, because the coin is on the market, it will take about a year before it will rise.
15  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why choose LONG-TERM TRADING? on: June 11, 2018, 07:00:20 AM
Trading is indeed difficult to do.

Long term trading may take weeks, months or even a year or so. You may call it as "long-term holding" or simply "holding".

Long-term trading is good for those who:

    • want to invest
    • has a job that requires at least 8 hours a day
    • want to earn extra income
    • non professional traders or beginners

But of course you will have to consider these things before investing:

    • invest money that does not limit your ability to meet other financial needs
    • should be willing to lose some
    • higher investment, more risky and higher potential of loses and/or rewards

These are the benefits of long-term trading according Anne Chapman (2015):

    • You are not required to find new opportunities every time. Just hold on the coins you believe has a potential. Do not bother yourself with other cryptocurrency focus on your work and family.
    • You have more time to plan and study the charts for analysis of trend
    • You only need to employ simple techniques.

First, identify major areas of support/resistance (does a trend have room to develop?

Second, look for chart/candlestick patterns (do they reinforce a trend continuation?)

Finally, look for a logical and high probability point of entry and manage the trade

    • You will experience less stress since you do not have to monitor the charts, price, trend etc. every time.
    • You only have to work less. Check your coin in a month or weekly basis, etc

    Thank you.

A more detailed explanation can be read here at: http://thedynamictrader.com/advantages-of-long-term-trading/[/list]
Most investors choose long term trading because when investing is large even if they wait for one year to choose the coin they have a bigger profit, they are waiting for it to be a successful coin invest.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Blockchain Survive Without Bitcoin on: June 11, 2018, 06:51:33 AM

Blockchain Technology was driven to fame by its application on Bitcoin Gold due to its encryption that has been considered hacker proof. Bitcoin has been used as a reference to its success, providing a secure network for users.

The question however is, can blockchain succeed without bitcoin?
I'm not sure if bitcoin does not have the blockchain, it's my opinion that without bitcoin the blockchain will continue as many cryptocurrency still use the exchange of different coins.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to hold coins in 2018 on: June 10, 2018, 11:19:04 AM
How long should we hold coins?
In the past 3 weeks, despite all the risks, many investors have hold a large number of coins such as TRX, XVG, XRP, ADA, etc. ranging from good to bad coins including DGB, DOGE.

Getting back a little bit with the psychology of human beings: we are always afraid but very pleasure when others talk about profit. When some coin prices are falling, you only see the negative things in it: "It will surely keep falling, so it’s better to stay away". When it turns back up: "It will plunge again sooner or later?" But when it's high up then: "It will no longer fall".

As an investor, you will have to understand a coin before investing money in it. You should evaluate and consider everything before making the decision to buy and hold for a long term (for 6 months to 1 year , or at least 3 months for the most impatient investors). Because one cycle of increase / decrease of a coin usually lasts for 2 months, understanding coin will give you confidence, psychological preparedness before facing the falling prices

The criteria to assess a coin:
    1. General information about that coin
    2. The purpose of generating the coin
    3. The dev team (do more or say much)?
    4. What is the current product? In what stage?
    5. Are there existing customers? Potential customers?
    6. Vision of future coin? Is it realistic or just expressed in words?
    7. Scalability?  Can it be accepted by the public? Is it possible to apply to everyday life?

I spend little time tracking the prices. Most of the time is spent on reading news, evaluating coins to make investment decisions. I also spend only 10-15 minutes on technical analysis (It’s not because I view it as unimportant, I’m just get used to it). As a result, I have bought a lot of coin at a very good price. I bought when you were there saying: how can it increase again. I left you far behind, at present, it is greatly safe for all my investments because my investment value has increased by several to tens of times.

You can say whatever in case of rising price, even when you invest in shitcoin. However, when the price falls this low, my balance seems to keep stable thanks to my calculation and comprehensive knowledge about coins. Once investing in a coin, I strongly believe in its future. I choose the right time to buy more coins without any fear of risk!

So how long to hold coins? The answer is that you go learn more thoroughly and comprehensively about the coins you want to invest in and make your decisions.

many days different news about what coin is good to do, always tell Tron, Ada, or whatever coin there, but for the better to hold Bitcoin, then news can be increased but In the long run, it is best to choose what we want to invest in if we think it can be lifted.
18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the risk necessary to make a big profit? on: June 10, 2018, 11:14:40 AM
I think so, we really need to gamble big to make a big profit but at the back of it is also a big risk that we can lose, because not just raising an investment, we really need to wait at the right time.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you mean when you say Bitcoin is number 1 on: June 10, 2018, 10:51:17 AM
We are entering an era of multiple digital currencies, and many of them will survive. Bitcoin is certain to be one of them, but it can't be number one for every factor. Where do you think Bitcoin will stay as number 1

    • Store of value
    • Services in addition to simple money transfer
    • Convenience
    • Security
    • Investment/speculation
    • Safe transfer speed
    • Privacy
    • Freedom from globalist control
    • Other
bitcoin its a number one because he leads in all cryptocurrency because he is the highest priced price and bitcoin its a most popular of all cryptocurrency.
