61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Defi project like game pump and dump on: October 25, 2020, 05:20:38 PM
What do you think of defi projects, most of them are only good for the short term.To make a big profit, we must enter at the right moment, if we are wrong we will lose very deeply.
This will keep happening till people will keep chasing each shiny project without any practicality, some projects even do not have details, no whitepaper, no roadmap and no team and still they are able to raise target funds. This is all because of greed but we all know that this greed will make most people lose money than making any profit.
62  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC can reach $ 20000 after PayPal, Venmo accept payments in BTC, ETH? on: October 24, 2020, 10:52:19 PM
Following PayPal information, Venmo allows payment of its services in BTC, ETH and a few other tokens, the price of BTC has increased sharply, sometimes surpassing $ 13,000 and is still holding at $ 12900. But why is the market reacting so positively?  BTC can reach $ 20000 after PayPal, Venmo accept payments in BTC, ETH?
This is just a micro event my dear friend just keep hodling your top coins as big bullish wave is about to start which will take prices much higher and new high prices will be here but you have to be patient and hold for around a year atleast, it can tale more or less time but it is coming amd i am really excited about the bulls that will dominate the market soon.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Signature campaign increase ICO credibility? I see few good ICOs recently on: October 24, 2020, 08:11:15 PM
Does Signature campaign increase ICO credibility? I see few good ICOs recently using Signature campaign to promote their private sale.

Being a newbie, I would like to know your thoughts through experience.
Mist campaigns i am seeing in bounties section these days are fake defi campaigns with only social media campaigns and no signature campaign, so it does add to the argument that only legit projects will come up with signature campaigns because it requires some work to put up signatures which fake projects will not bother to do.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why more people Trad to this 3curency USDT BTC ETH? on: October 24, 2020, 07:03:06 PM
These will remain the most used because money lies in these, especially the people who are active traders will know what i mean.
Let me put it simply, due to being top coins these have the biggest volume, liquidity and price action so it is a lot easier to trade these than low volume coins.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This will make any positive impact in crypto space? on: October 24, 2020, 05:59:41 PM
Elvira Nabiullina, head of Russia's central bank, today said that a pilot version of a digital ruble could be ready by 2021. A Russian CBDC would “make payments faster, simpler and safer,” the country’s central bank also said in a report. Here is the source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2mmajgIYPA

So here we are, the race for official digital currency has started and this will do nothing but boost the trust of masses in real coins and those who were hesitant from years will also jump in, this is another reason to be super bullish about cryptos for long term.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal customers will be able to use BTC, ETH and other cryptos to pay merchants on: October 21, 2020, 06:21:59 PM
this really great news for crypto world
PayPal has been granted a first of its kind conditional Bitlicense by the New York State Department of Financial Services and will begin enabling its 346 million users to to buy, hold and sell cryptocurrency directly from their PayPal account from early next year.
you can read the full article here
https://www.finextra.com/newsarticle/36795/paypal-to-support-cryptocurrency-across-it-consumer-and-merchant-network

does this mean we near with the bull trend on crypto market ?
If you ask me this news is really big and will have wide reaching effects, Im talking about positive effects for crypto market because paypal is already used worldwide for payments, remittances and as a digital bank account so this will be huge for crypto adoption as well.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time that there will be no new altcoin projects anymore on: October 20, 2020, 08:59:20 PM
Since the creation of Ethereum and other smart contract-based and token creation platforms we have seen the number of newly launched projects token created, we now have thousands of dead tokens and coins but many are still create it seems many tokens just come and go.

Do you think we will have a time that there will be no new tokens created and people will stop investing and supporting new tokens or coins?
I do not see that time to be near rather it is the time for the market and innovation to grow and boom so i see more and more projects and products in coming years. Success and failures are a different topic but i think this technology is just getting accepted and adopted by the world now so we are going to see more and more projects though only the top projects will be able to survive.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I feel sorry for the EMIREX bounty hunters $20 for 9 months of waiting on: October 20, 2020, 08:08:21 PM
The bounty campaign ended just over 9 months ago the token was credited on the bounty hunters account dashboard on Emirex the value then was $ 0.47 cents the token on the bounty hunter's dashboard is locked and  will be released this October 28 after 9 months
https://bit.emirex.com/ieo-announcement-3

Now the price is now trading at $0.18 I have a friend here who had 130 Emirex tokens valued now at $24 down from $49 it was such a long wait for $24, imagine waiting 9 months only to receive $24, this is how disgusting Emirex is, they should have released it much earlier.
Why feel sorry bro it is part of the game, if hunters are getting something out of it that is fine i am saying this because majority of campaigns still do not pay, they fail to raise enough funds or simply exit scam so in such an atmosphere if you are getting something out of a campaign you should be thankful, if the team has intentionally delayed the reward without any reason then we should definitely shame them but if there tokensale is not over yet then we cannot complain.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rare Batman art sold for ~$200K (302.5 ETH (~$111K) and 540.86 ETH) on: October 20, 2020, 07:39:07 PM
I still do not understand how the value of these art works, collectibles etc are derived because this price for a simple painting looks way too expensive to me but maybe i do not see what the buyer sees out of these so can anyone explain how the value is calculated for these?
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinmarketcap isn't safe for newbies who don't want to learn on: October 19, 2020, 09:44:20 PM
I believe newbies keep joining crypto space every day and I will like to share a warning about coinmarketcap and what most newbies are still doing wrong on this platform, if you visit https://coinmarketcap.com/new  you will get the list of new projects listed on coinmarketcap everyday, a newbie told me that he choose new projects through the link I provide up there, the truth is coinmarketcap don't care, they list many new projects without caring about if they are legit or fake, tons of useless tokens are getting listed on coinmarketcap and you need to stop this madness before it's too late, majority of these coins and tokens have no volumes, stop investing on these coins and tokens, it will only end up breaking you
Coinmarketcap and other similar platforms are just data points where we can gather and analyse data about any project so if you want to invest it is your responsibility do do your research and cover all aspects of the project before buying because it is your money and only you are responsible for it.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think we have more bounty hunters now because of the pandemic on: October 19, 2020, 08:55:52 PM
We are still in crisis and people are looking for ways to make money online and bounty hunting is a big attraction to those looking for ways to make money online, because it's easy to do, all you have to do is share on your social media or write an article if you are a good writer and you can earn tokens that you can trade in the market when it hit the market.

Do you think we have more bounty workers now that people are on lockdown or do not have a job yet because of the pandemic?
Yes, that can be one obvious reason but i think many hunters are back after like 2 years of downtrend in the market and now they are hoping for a bull market where the prices just go parabolic so that is why i think the number of participants have increased for good projects and campaigns.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT IS BINANCE SMART CHAIN? WILL BINANCE BECOME NEW ETHEREUM RIGHTS? on: October 19, 2020, 07:42:08 PM
BNB holders who are interested in staking BNB can also assist in the development of Binance Smart Chain and earn bonuses. Can Binance replace Ethereum?
Why do we have to compare every blockchain network with ethereum, I mean we have heard terms like ethereum killer bla bla many times before but the conclusion is that every project will achieve its market value out of dozens of factors so no project can be compared and every project is different.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FILECOIN, biggest ico ever! on: October 18, 2020, 09:36:02 PM
https://www.coindesk.com/200-million-60-minutes-filecoin-ico-rockets-record-amid-tech-issues/

Update on filecoin. The biggest ICO ever!

I started to listen about it by Cedric Dahl oh his youtube channel. It could be one of the future leader in the crypto mcap ranking.

here is a good point of view about the ico and the potential and risk of this coin.

Now we have just to wait it on exchanges to see if it will drop a bit under the ico price as other big ICO have done  Grin Grin
The price of filecoin is going doen since it has started trading, thanks to the hype created by big media outlets that made the opening price high so people who bought from exchanges due to hype are already in loss of around 50 percent, wow. Who said crypto is boring? Everyday we see and hear make or break stories and this project seems to be one of them.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is UniSwap the most powerful in the Defi market? on: October 18, 2020, 08:20:54 PM
It’s just 10 days back that DeFi protocol Uniswap launched their Uni token and now Uniswap becomes the first DeFi protocol to cross $2 Billion.

Read more: https://www.worldcoinindex.com/news/defi-protocol-uniswap-crosses-2-billion-in-total-value-locked

Will Uniswap remain it's top position or is this just a hype?
Recently Uniswap has been in the top financial publications as well so it is getting huge spotlight and i think it is ready for even more market dominance, i am talking in trading and exchange sense because it is sucking huge volume from top exchanges so competition is growing while if you talk about defi uniswap is already a leader.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you trust Defi projects?? on: October 18, 2020, 07:50:48 PM
Hello , as my hobby , again um doing my  research on new " Defi healthcare " Project. The Name of the Project is "medicalVEDA" and This is a Chinese project. I'm telling about this project is due to following reasons , BUT i have some doubts as well , so that's why i need your opinions before investing to their IEO..

Reasons are :
  • Partners
  • Team members were directly contacted by me
  • Active Telegram group
  • One of my crypto teacher (my friend ) has invested [He has earned 3500$+ profit by investing an another project in last 3 months] thats why im following him i
[And i read the white paper ,but I coudn't find a wrong with that , tell me if you found any issue]

, So these are the reasons , Tell me your opinions against my reasons and if you have invested to this project kindly tell me the reasons for that..
Your title is a bit misleading because you are asking about defi projects in a generalized manner but in the thread you have asked about opinion on an unknown defi project, perhaps you want to shill this project, anyways at the moment defi market is consolidating and that is a good thing and good projects will come up stronger in the end while it will be hard for weak projects to sustain and survive for long.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why hesitate ???? on: October 18, 2020, 06:37:44 PM
You invested in a ICO or IEO project at 1$ per token or coin and the price surge up to 3$ but because you see potential in the project you decide to hold and after few months the price goes down to 0.45$ and after four years and the token surge back to 3$, my question is why the wait? You hold a coin for years just to go back to it's ATH (All Time High) ? And most times majority of coins don't go back to their ATH ever again, what could you learn from this? Never ever hesitate to take profits, even if the project is the best ever, take profits, invest again when price is down because believe me, the price will surely go down

if humans are programmed to see the future won't we all be rich?
Yes I do follow and understand your point but it is not that simple bro because most people invest in quality longterm projects that have potential to achieve new highs again and again so personally i do hold high quality projects for long and the projects that do not have my 100 percent confidence i do take profit out of them.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fidelity Report Says Portfolios Should Consider 5% Bitcoin Allocation on: October 14, 2020, 07:07:10 PM
This is easily a buy signal and it also shows the fact that every invedtment firm is now keen to adopt, invest and hold crypto, they were skeptical like 2-3 years ago but now they seem clear and that is why they are openly and publically speaking about it now.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: btc vs ethereum on: October 14, 2020, 10:48:13 AM
bitcoin is techically more superior then ETH ,yes but the use cases are bigger for etheruem now!

real utility for ETH ARE BIGGER.

ETH: defi, icos, dapps, stable coins.
also the very good liquitity !!

BITCOIN ?

yes you can buy thigns with btc but so you can do with ETH.

Both bitcoin and ethereum makes the most of the crypto market if we see them together because everyone loves them and everyone wants to hold them.
Despite going into comparison debate we should support this new revolutionary tech especially due to the fact that they are providing us services in a borderless, decentralized way without engaging traditional financial sector.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SaTT Already Available On 4 Exchanges, Great Feat So Far on: October 14, 2020, 10:00:24 AM
Project is innovative and world definitely need a decentralized blockchain based smart digital advertising platform because publishers abd advertisers alongwith digital marketers are fed up of traditional ad networks that charge heavy fee but the results are below par so a decentralized platform could be more transparent and effective as well.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi Bubble Burst? on: October 12, 2020, 06:39:59 PM
All the projects you have listed in the opening thread are good ones and even if they are currently facing a downtrend but i am confident that they will be able to recover and do good in the future both as projects and increase in token value.
