1  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Legit bitcoin mining company on: August 27, 2017, 11:26:59 PM
Have been using eobot and hashflare for a long time now
Don't use genesis-mining
https://www.eobot.com/user/265480
https://hashflare.io/r/5A70BA80

Lucky for you, I invested in Hashflare, they have never answered any ticket; for over a year now.
My btc has been in their wallet for over a year.   Cannot buy any GH/s cannot withdraw my BTC.
They have refused to answer any ticket since last year.   TOTAL RIP-OFF

https://blockchain.info/address/1NLrVxZy1VTBsbgabcTAd55n2a2BdvBif4

They withdrew my BTC, I cannot withdraw because their site shows me I have zero balance.
2  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud Mining / Roi / Difficulty on: August 14, 2017, 01:25:16 AM
Your profit is not as you will expect the cloud mining promise you since the difficulty increases time to time. The hash rate you buy is not constant with the time since the more difficulty the less bitcoin to be mined which makes the return of investment takes time to achieve. Yes the hash rate is lifetime but your profit isn't so think twice before investing in cloud mining even it is legit or not.

Yes it would be foolish to not use some profits, to increase hashing power; past difficulty changes.
I started at 5,000 gh/s and today at 22,000 gh/s.

Quote
Is it profitable on hashnest?  I was looking for some passive income but didn't know that there was still some legit cloud mining website. Well I don't have that much of a capital to invest, so I don't know if it profitable to invest far lower amount, due to fees and such.

Fees are the same percentage for $1 or $10000
4  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud Mining / Roi / Difficulty on: August 11, 2017, 03:37:27 PM
I wouldn't suggest you to invest at cloud mining at all. I loved cloud mining at cex.io a few years ago and I've actually got a ROI without practically investing anything but now even they've stopped selling hashrates, they're just too unprofitable, and I've tried looking at cloud mining again and could't find the legit one or the one where you could actually profit from.

Yeah I remember when CEX.IO was profitable.
S7 antminer's on hashnest are still profitable.
At least on hashnest you can sell your gh/s at any time; to take out your capital.
I started with $650 in March and now I'm up to 21,000 gh/s
Over $400 per month if I don't sell my gh/s
$2945 if I sell all my gh/s
In CDN dollars.

5  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: August 26, 2016, 09:35:45 AM
yes there ticket reply is quite slow ..but you get reply
How many weeks or months does it take to get a ticket answered?
6  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: August 13, 2016, 08:06:49 AM
Hashnest charging 300% to 400% mining fees.
After I bought extra gh/s.
Tickets never answered.
I had to sell and withdraw all, to stop losing money.
I am doubt support will answer your questions because it is not about something wrong on their service, you should calculate before make Investment on there.

On august 8th, I was being charged regular fees.
After buying more gh/s on august 9th, they are charging me between 300% and 400% of mining revenue

did you checked the time interval between the blocks they credited to you? they will take more fees on longer period of time before they found another block.

Yes I have been with them since February, this is not the first time I buy gh/s.
I bought almost daily since Feb.
I bought another $10 worth of GH/s on august 9, since then my fees have been over 300% on every block.
If they won't answer my tickets, they surely won't refund me.
I had to withdraw everything, so not to continue taking such huge losses on every block.

I think they are slowly taking the same path as cex.io.
cex.io did about the same thing to me, overcharging fees, not replying to tickets.
cex.io was even charging me mining fees, when I was not mining.

I took my miners off, antpool, won't be going back, at least until they have the decency to reply to tickets.

9  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Whatever happened to Bitcoin Affiliate Network? on: November 23, 2015, 04:41:33 AM
Over 6 months no pay, revamped the site but made sure chat and support is turned off.
Still owed for mining done, with B.A.N. .
10  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: *** GHash.IO mining pool official page *** on: January 19, 2015, 05:46:41 AM
This pool is in bad shape. I quit mining 2 days ago, withdrew all my coins, today I looked at my account and it's negative, not mining and owe them?

I'm just glad to be done with that pool

They put my account in negative balance two months after I removed my machines and sold my Gh/S.
Fees 2 months after I left them.
After weeks of explaining and sending tickets, I gave up.

I closed the account, Good luck getting those fees from me.

11  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: *** GHash.IO mining pool official page *** on: November 19, 2014, 04:14:32 PM
Why am I charged for maintenance fees 18 days after selling my GH/S.
I tried support but they have no answers , first 3 tickets ignored, now they just cut and paste answers that have no bearing on the fact that I get charged for fees 18 days after I emptied account of my miners and GH/S. Angry
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Giveaway threads are not allowed on: October 06, 2014, 04:30:29 AM
Yeah that got out of hand pretty quick didn't it.
Apologies to all for my participation in such giveaways.

Here's to some intelligent discussion.

I second that emotion, it did get out of hand and I must admit greed overtook me at times.

Good call.

Are giveaways as part of an announcement-thread still allowed?

+1. Kudos to cameronjmcphail & RJX.  Cool

Good to see the giveaways go. Many of them were just attention-grabber anyways, rather than actually giving away coins.
Just look at the DogeCoin giveaway thread by FORKPOOL. It has 1228 posts and not even a few people have been paid.
Those are fake giveaways. I'm one of few who actually make giveaways.

So we have to prune them for good.  Roll Eyes
Also, a new subforum dedicated to the Giveaway threads seems sound to me.

Just my 2 satoshi!

Do I understand correctly. Giveaways are not allowed, but raffles are allowed?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=623884.msg8998577#msg8998577

Or Giveaways are allowed; if you charge a small amount?

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Giveaway threads are not allowed on: September 03, 2014, 06:43:25 PM
Most giveaway threads are no longer allowed in the Alternate cryptocurrencies sections. From now on, posting or replying to such threads could result in being banned. Existing threads will be locked.

Specifically, you are not allowed to give people any incentive to post insubstantial posts in your threads. You can't offer to pay people who post their addresses, usernames, etc. You can do giveaways off-site and link to the giveaway page in a thread, but you can't give people any bonus for replying to your thread.

Similar threads are already restricted to Games and Rounds in the non-altcoin sections, but the giveaway-related post volume is so high in the altcoin sections that I've decided to just ban them entirely here.

The thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=623884.1460
MMXIV coin
Is giving stolen, unclaimed coins, to boost his private altcoin multipool.
No one is allowed to know what is mined.
He gives coins to loyal followers.
He then takes stolen, unclaimed coins; to trade for altcoins mined on his multipool.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MMXIV claim to be the Ultra Rare coin of 2014 on: September 03, 2014, 06:28:26 PM
MMXIV claim to be the Ultra Rare coin of 2014

It's currently trading at Bittrex
https://bittrex.com/Market/?MarketName=BTC-MMXIV

What do you think?

Turns out 2014 coin was a huge scam.
Dev changed to POS, steals unclaimed coins.
Now needs miners to mine on MMXIV's centralized multipool; no one is allowed to know what is mined.
He then trades altcoins mined on his multipool, for stolen MMXIV coins.

When there are too many facts and complaints he deletes,

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Maieuticoin [M] | Formerly MMXIV | Pure Proof of Stake (50%) | Multipool on: September 03, 2014, 12:50:46 AM
Just got back from out of town and noticed I have some bonus coin!  What a pleasant surprise, Thanks!   Grin

No problem. I've been using the unclaimed MMXIV from the chain switch to do giveaways to random miners on the multipool. Thanks for mining with us!  Wink

Unclaimed MMXIV, does that mean taking from people who couldn't get your wallet to work?
I can't find out how this coin works yet.
Can I mine MMXIV, if it's POS? Do only rich wallets mine?
Is this now a coin, for rich kids born with a silver spoon?
90% of the world is poor, so this coin is not for average people?
How many coins will be mined?

There was a month to convert coins to the new chain. I asked you on the last page what wallet problems you had, with no response, as well as posted a new client for you to try, with no response whether it worked or not

Post number 1455 answered what the error was.
Post number 1456 did not solve the problem.
I seen no reason to repeat what was already posted.

How are MMXIV coins mined now? It's taking forever to read all the pages to get any info.

From what understand, everyone who didn't read your posts for a month, lost their coins.
These stolen coins are given to miners who go to a "special pool", to mine altcoins for a rich wallet that makes and sells MMXIV coins.

The only way to get MMXIV coins now, is to mine on a "special pool" for altcoins, and then sell the altcoins for MMXIV coins.
What's the purpose for special multipool. I already use a multipool; seems smarter to use a multipool that is reliable.
Are MMXIV coins still POS on an exchange?

Is the only way to get new MMXIV coins, to buy from a rich wallet?

So I mined for a rare coin, ended up with a POS coin.
Can't get the wallet to work and lost my mined coins.

No wonder the value dropped.  less rare = less value
Supply and demand kinda thingy.
What happened to 2014coin?
It used to always in be top ten for highest price; now it's going to the scrap heap.
18  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE - 1,150 TH/S HASH RATE (1GH/S per Unit) on: August 28, 2014, 05:51:39 PM
Either way the price has rallied from what some people said was certainly the death of PETA,I feel like I need Dramamine

The death knell for PETA was sounded ages ago...whether or not people choose to listen to it is a different story.

Yeah - but don't forget, one can make money in any market! Even on a dying enterprise!  Smiley

Isn't that statement usually true, because you can usually short sell stocks, buy puts, or sell calls?  I don't think Havelock offers that functionality.

Yes Havelock does offer that option. B.Exch, B.Mine, B.Sell.
The great thing about B.Mine, no electricity fees, no hosting fees,
daily dividends; dividends only change at difficulty changes.
Same payout per Gh/s as
https://alloscomp.com/bitcoin/calculator.
@5 gh/s per unit

CEX=         .0037 per Gh/s  ~ 1/3 fees
Peta=        .0007 per Gh/s  ~ 1/2 fees
Pbmining= .0033 per Gh/s no fees, cannot trade, div once a week
B.mine=    .0024 per Gh/s no fees, can trade on market, daily div

19  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE - 1,150 TH/S HASH RATE (1GH/S per Unit) on: August 15, 2014, 05:52:11 PM
Is it possible that PETA used the p2ppool announcement to get a spike in share price so they could then unload the shares they had given to themselves to 'pay off the loan'?
And guess who pays for the electricity and hosting, for the shares they have not unloaded ?
If electricity costs for 1,150 TH/S is, $.15 per share per month; if half is the loan, electricity should be $.075 per month per share.
Which means the public pays for electricity and hosting of shares owned by Peta.
20  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE - 1,150 TH/S HASH RATE (1GH/S per Unit) on: August 08, 2014, 06:00:33 PM
New share price plateau approaching?
Not when P2P news hits then id think at least .003

I gave them instructions for bitfury hardware to mine on p2pool like a month and a half ago
If they havnt switched yet they aren't going to

Have they not been on p2p shown here - http://pool.petamine.co:9332/ ?

4 th/s less than 1% of 1,150 th/s, and it hasn't gone up. So I guess they're just ignoring the vote for p2pool. Angry
