Hey! It will be a limit order but if you are not able to take the full best ask or bid lot then the exchange will indicate it as a market order. The 0.25% one side fee is included in the profit calculation.

Important update

Binance discovered large scale security breach today, May 7, 2019 at 17:15:24 (UTC). Hackers were able to obtain a large number of user API keys, 2FA codes, and potentially other info. Binance management decided to restrict all currently existing API keys and then these keys will be removed in full at 2019/05/08 1:30 PM (UTC). You can read an official statement, here

In order to continue using Bitsgap, please:

• Create a new API key on Binance website
• Update Binance API on Bitsgap My Exchanges page

These newly created API keys will not be removed at 1:30 PM (UTC).

Sorry, but we don't want to give any estimations at this point. But you can definitely expect the application on all operating systems.

It's been a long time since the last post but there are grand reasons behind it. We have been actively working on releasing new features and improving platform performance. We would like to give a short update of what has been done for the past months:

• Removed Dashboard, now all information is available in Portfolio page
• Introduced paid packages: Basic, Advanced, Pro
• Smart Trade order rework (previously known as Stop Loss & Take Profit order)
• Stop-Limit order
• Signals service which will give you the advantage to join the price rally as soon as it starts

There were several issues related to the client and we decide to not proceed with it. One of the reason is antivirus policy statements which were marking our client as potential malware because there was a direct connection with the user and the server. The other reason is limited feature implementations which stopped us from releasing offline automation with orders. While this provided extra security layout, it was not worth keeping it as it was. Therefore, right after we moved to the cloud-based service we invest a lot in security and safety, and, as a result, our protection became even tougher than it was before

Platform updates & hotfixes, January 8, 2019

For the past two weeks, we have been working mainly on loading speed optimization and portfolio update. We are sharing a list of what has been done and what effects it brings on general usability of the service. Here you will find a list of changes and hotfixes we have already implemented.

General

• Fixed some small gaps in navigation and general response has been improved on the platform.
• Loading and processing speed is increased, trading information and graphs should load faster than before and response time for placing an order is significantly reduced.

Security

• Login with social media now should work correctly with Two Factor Authorization. Previously some users were able to bypass 2fa with Gmail account

Portfolio

• Added Watch List - watch list has been added on Portfolio page with sort by exchange selector.
• Added Analytics - with analytics you get the detailed overview of each coin in your holding within multiple periods.
• Added Open Orders - track open orders in an optimized portfolio page.
• Added Positions - all your present and past positions will be displayed on Positions page giving you the most comprehensive results overview.
• Added Log - tab log was moved from a Trading page and integrated as a separate Portfolio's tab.

Hi! Absolutely, the shadow order can be used for strategic trading via Bitsgap on all supported exchanges. As you already mentioned it can be used to place an order without freezing funds from your balance. There are numerous ways you can utilize this type of order in your advantage. The best example is when you are not sure which one of your favorite coins will have a drop in price so you can instantly buy it. Shadow order will allow you to use the same balance for multiple transactions and will close the rest as soon one of your coins reaches the desired price.

The same logic works for a sell side: Imagine you have ETH and you want either sell it if the price will go up or use ETH to buy BTC if it goes down. Exchange won't allow you to place two orders simultaneously, but Shadow order on Bitsgap will do the trick. It also can be used to place your buy order below the stop-loss level, so if the price hits your stop-loss you will have a backup plan to rebuy it to minimize your losses or even get some nice profit. The possibilities are limitless
