1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / What the hell happened to my coins? [Double transaction, confirmed one is wrong] on: April 05, 2013, 04:11:01 PM
Hi.

Yesterday i opened a mt.gox account because i decided to sell my coins (9.641).

I went on the "funding" page, got the address and sent the coins.

That's where something went wrong because now i have two transactions, and the confirmed one isn't the one i made!

They appear to have been made at exactly the same time.

Details of both transactions:

So, what the fuck?

Where did my coins get sent to?

9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Namecoin GUI released! on: June 28, 2011, 04:12:39 PM
Hei hai it's me, the guy that 2 weeks ago pretended he was going to make a java gui for Namecoin.

I had some problems in the meantime, and couldn't finish it until now, but now it's out for everyone who wants it!  Grin

Please send me the debug informations if it crashes, i couldn't handle /every/ case.  Undecided

Here's the rar, it's a JAR file that you just need to doubleclick, it should work on every operating system (as long as you have the JVM)

Remember that it needs the namecoind server already running.

And don't forget donations if you like it!  Grin

It's summer here in Las Vegas, NV and I get the feeling I'll be laughing at what most of you are calling "heat" wherever you're from. I've actually had to offload a couple nodes to the homes of friends and family to keep my apartment under 85F, it's pretty miserable really.
lol u mad?
i'm in northern italy and right now (15:39 LT) there are 39°C in shadow, and it never dropped below 27°C in the last week...
85F is 30°.

Io conosco il PHP, potrei occuparmi della parte del database degli utenti.
Ci manca solo qualcuno che sappia fare il distributore del lavoro vero e proprio...

Try the following:

Download the binaries and put them somewhere, for example C:\namecoin\
Press windows+R and type cmd, click ok
now type c:\namecoin\namecoind
It will show the error about the configuration file.
No problem, we wanted it to.
Type cd %appdata%\namecoin
now type notepad bitcoin.conf
It will ask you to create a new file, click ok
put in it the following rows:

Quote
rpcuser=something
rpcpassword=somethingelse
rpcport=8336

Close notepad saving it

Go back to the prompt and type start c:\namecoin\namecoind
This opens a new window that should just show a blinking cursor.
Go back to the previous prompt and type cd c:\namecoin\

To test if it is actually working type namecoind getinfo

Should report the number of blocks, number of connections, and other infos.
