1  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: How faucets make money? on: May 11, 2015, 01:02:59 AM
I see them as a bad way to earn money from only Advertising

Faucets, it seems that they make more money from you than you from them :-)
2  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Duhhh...how do I insert a screen grab image? on: April 24, 2015, 03:17:57 AM
snagit is a paid one isn't it?

For free (Windows) you can use CTRL+PRINTSCREEN then paste the image into Paint and crop as needed.  Smiley

Snipping Tool in Windows is even better/easier.
But you still need some online service where to upload picture first, correct?
3  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: April 13, 2015, 05:12:48 PM

You better join signature campaign, sell your skill or join giveaway

Do you know for any good forum where you find out about latest give aways?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=71.0

Check out the Games and Rounds section here above. Lots of Giveaways but they come and go so you have to be quick. Primedice does good ones every now and again so keep an eye out for them.

I will, thank you

See bellow at the bottom of my post there is signature (SathosiBet) I was being paid few weeks as beginner. They actually did accept beginners into their campaign. Nice! They don't do signature campaign any more. But I'm keep advertising them for free as 'thank you' for accepting me as beginner. And why I don't try to join some other signature campaign now? I don't post 20 times a week. Not even 10 times. I'm just not posting enough to get paid lol

Not to worry. Most sig campaigns allow those who don't reach the minimum posting limit to have their previous week's posts roll over into the next week. So, for example, if you made 10 posts in week 1, you only need to make another 10 posts in week 2 to receive a payment.

Ups, sorry for few mistakes and thank you for info on signature campaign. At some point I will stop advertising for free :-)))
12  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: The First Signature Campaign on: March 01, 2015, 03:12:50 AM
Hello all. I've never been here before. What is a signature campaign?

Hey FXX, welcome! :-)
Signature campaign is a way to make a little extra bitcoin on a side by posting here.
It is far better and more rewarding that trying to play and click on different faucets which are more or less waste of time.

Basically you put someones signature at the end of your post (you set it in your profile) and that person/company who's signature is, will pay you usually weekly or monthly. There are few conditions, usually you need to post certain amount of posts per week, many times there will be like 20 quality posts a week (way too much for me). Also you need to be higher rank, better rank you have more they will pay. And usually you can't get into signature campaign as newbie or Junior. Although there were/are some exceptions. I don't have link to page with signatures handy, hopefully someone else will post it.

But you have time few months to increase your raking on this forum, called activity. Every 14 days your activity will increase by 14 if you post at least one post per week. So keep ask questions and your activity will slowly increase. Once you become member there will be several campaign available for you. I think for your next level (Junior?) you need to have activity 14 or 28, can't remember... By then you will also learn enough to be able to post 20 quality posts. Short 'thank you' and 'lol' posts don't qualify. My response to you would qualify as quality post.

I hope I managed to give you some useful information :-)

P.s.

Check this thread out, you will learn all about activity and much much more:

Edit:

I found one, you can join once you become Junior member which will take 2 or 4 weeks if I remember correctly.

I would suggest you to use Electrum as a wallet , because It gives you a 12 words seed when you setup the wallet for the first time , and you can recover your Bitcoins & wallet with those words in a case of a computer failure or device get burnt as you said etc ...

Yes Electrum! You can have !the same! wallet on different computers, on different operating systems.
And linux distribution for anonymous web surfing Tails have pre-installed Electrum wallet...

"New features: Electrum is an easy-to-use Bitcoin wallet, you can use the Bitcoin client persistence feature to store your Electrum configuration and wallet; the Tor Browser has additional operating system and data security"

http://distrowatch.com/?newsid=08824

Edit:
Ups, sorry I see tails was already mentioned...

in amounts that aren't ridiculously low for ridiculously high input time.

Welcome to this forum, great place to learn...
And our world is too serious, there is never too much of a humor! :-)

Do you play poker? If you do, it is a fun way to make some mili bitcoins.
You can play free rolls to get some starting coin and later you can try to increase it by playing sit-ups etc or to entering paid tournaments. Faucets are chore, boring tasks, something you need to spend a lot of time just to get some small coins. If you already play poker and enjoy playing it, then just focus on play, just try to enjoy playing and forget on coins. But they will slowly starting to collect into your wallet... just a thought

This one for example:

https://bitcasino.io/casino/table-games/Poker

Pays out so many positions that you will often get paid without playing one single hand. No joke. Example from tournament (free roll) playing right now, Omaha, 51 players registered, paid first 36, more than half. And more than half players don't even show up, actually usually less than  one third.  So you register, leave browser open, you never show up and if you are among those 36 (happens) you get some change :-)
15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help me understand - Who uses Faucets? , and why? on: February 14, 2015, 04:19:02 PM
My point being , there's so many other much more profitable ways to be earning bitcoins can someone explain to me who the people using these are ? and why.

Beginners at bitcoin who don't know better. After few weeks they realize what a waste of time faucets are. But buy then there are new beginners to take their seats :-)

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New gold-backed cryptocurrency INNcoin allows you to mine gold for free on: January 25, 2015, 04:32:39 AM

I am not privy to the details, but since mining for INN will continue until sometime this June, I would expect a new wallet for Hayek coin.  I logged in to Anthem Vault yesterday and I did see a button for transferring to Hayek. Clicking on it now brings up a window about the new coin coming this month.

Sry for late reply and thank you for info :-)

I have received word from up the foodchain at SatoshiBet that the signature campaign is ending this coming Sunday. I will be

First thank you very much for opportunity.
Because of my job I will miss the quote this final week and I really can't post with this frequency, I was going to stop signature campaign anyway.

But for thank you I will keep your signature and do some free advertising for you for a while. :-)
Just to show my gratitude and my thank you to you since I'm not switching to any other campaign anyway... You were my first signature campaign to me and this means something to me. So, thank you again and good luck!
