It's good for aBitcoiner to post here as most Newbie status members have been on the band wagon for a while but not registered to the forum until recently, so all of us Newbies are hanging out here 99% of the time, so it's a great idea aBitcoiner, good luck, I will test it out within next couple of days!

Sounds good!

Thank you bitminers. I posted here because most newbies would be lost with so many threads in this forum. I plan to expand documentation greatly on the site, trying to put in so called "layman terms".

ok, I seem to be getting around 3 at the moment with Slush's per 1.3Ghs every 24 hours.

Interesting to see, the more power your pool gets though the higher that should raise though am I right or wrong??

Thanks for replying!

Your best bet would be to go on irc and run a ;;bc,gen 1300000
It should give you the amount, and with 0 fees, it should be around that exact amount. (based on luck)

More power in pool, the faster the earnings appear, not more earnings.

Hi,

Whats the current output for 1.3Ghs Per Second per day (24 Hours) with your pool if I start mining with your pool today?

With 0% fee, it would be the most possible output based on difficulty. Right now that seems around 1.49 bitcoins.

We do not charge any fees unlike other miners.

We also have a beginners guide, for learning how to setup and get paid.

73  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: 100 bitcoins sent but not received. Help! on: June 09, 2011, 04:20:31 AM
I added every single fallback node with the terminal command.
Took a few minutes, but my connections gradually went up to 14!
Unfortunately, I still don't have the transaction in BitCoin, and its been a while since  it used the terminal thing, and almost 2 hours since I sent the coins to myself.
I thought this BitCoin business was supposed to be almost instant?

I also checked the obvious things already like making sure I pasted my address into the website correctly, and that the withdrawal was listed on the BitMarket site.
74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: 100 bitcoins sent but not received. Help! on: June 09, 2011, 03:10:21 AM
Just bought my first BitCoin!
Unfortunately I am having the same problem
I ran the lines in terminal, but I don't have the IP for the other computer to add, since I am getting the BitCoins from BitMarket.eu
I had about 3 connections before I closed BitCoin and have 3 right now a few minutes after running it.
It was sent from the BitMarket address to my personal address 40 minutes ago and BitMarket claims the transaction has been confirmed. Still hasn't showed up in BitCoin.
Thoughts?
75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Lost Savings Wallet Addresses?! on: June 09, 2011, 02:58:53 AM
Lets do some calculation shall we?
7,208BTC * 30USD/BTC = 216,240USD
Perhaps having the goddamn drive taken open in a clean room isn't that extreme.
I have recovered files before with the program mentioned earlier in the thread, but secure delete screwed that idea over.
It is theoretically possible to recover even overwritten files, though no one has ever demonstrated it being done. But if the German military really could do it, they wouldn't be too keen on publishing a how to on it.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Data_recovery#Overwritten_data
The possibility of one day recovering that many BitCoins, worth potentially even more later than they are now, would be enough for me to buy a new hard drive and put the old one in a drawer. Even if BitCoins fell to .5USD/BTC it would still be worth way more than a new HD.
76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Memory Dealers is about to email 15,000 people in High tech about Bitcoins on: June 08, 2011, 10:21:28 PM
I might would wait until there is an easy way to buy BitCoins, since there isn't a way right now to decide to buy BitCoins, and receive BitCoins within an hour if you don't already use Dwolla or Liberty reserve, which few people do. The ways most people will want to use will take 24 hours or more. On the other hand, anyone that is on your site's mailing list would probably be cooler with going through the technological hoops required to get BitCoin OTC or anything else working.
My 2 cents.
On a side note: I'm excited that a real life fairly legitimate website is accepting BitCoins! None of the other places listed on the BitCoin wiki are anything I would use, but this is. It isn't Amazon or NewEgg legit, but its still a good start.
77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Worldwide Exclusive: New Competitor to MtGox: http://TradeHill.com on: June 08, 2011, 09:59:15 PM
I just joined. It claimed to be compatible with PayPal, but it is only for withdrawals. Undecided You can withdraw with about 20 methods, but you can only deposit with a US or international bank transfer, Dwolla and Liberty Reserve.

80  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Mac miner front-ends to Diablo and RPC on: June 07, 2011, 10:58:11 AM
Feature request:
Diablominer keeps crashing every few hours. (Apparently thanks to Apple's poor OpenCL implementation.) Would it be possible to have your front-end check every few minutes if the process is alive and restart the miner if it wasn't killed manually?

Anyway nice job with the app. Makes things really easy.
