Wow.. we agree on something for once... lets pop a bottle...
If you agreed with my post, feel free to leave some merit points I would of done had you not said that you support OG being a merit source... OG's thirst for power on the forum is unquenchable. Obviously theymos recognizes this and purposefully left him out. otherwise If I had agreed with you 100% I would of dropped a cheeky 5 on you fella! God I hate politics. There have been some seriously interesting and funny threads here over the past few years. I recall one of them was a scam accusation against a user who kept gambling the money he borrowed away, and then he blamed the lender for his defaulting on the loan. I wish I had a link to that, but the thread ran for many pages and it was one of the most entertaining things I've read here. Are you referring to Kingofsports? One of the better sagas over the years https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=219526.msg3167364#msg3167364https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=557436.0KLYE is also another great one. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=642090.0

It's a free market, members can leave whenever they want. If you don't want people leaving your campaign, you should pay them better.
Exactly the point. Every campaign is not the same and its not on the signature managers to decide the budget. Each website / project has it's own budget. And all a CM does is aggregate the data from the applicants and judge their post content and then decided whether to allow them or not. When someone leaves mid round, it means all that work would have to be repeated because someone else is a bit greedy. On the flip side, it is actually a good thing for the CM's and their campaigns. They get that promotion for this duration for free without having to pay these quitters. As you said, leaving mid round means you won't be paid for that round or for the campaign you're joining most likely. The pay has to be pretty bad for any reasonable person to leave in the middle of a round. Imo users don't owe anything to whoever is running the campaign, if running it was so easy then there would be no reason to hire managers. I don't leave in the middle of rounds, but I don't fault people for doing so.

This is obviously a scam, escrow only available until you provide a tracking number? Really? An escrow is supposed to hold the funds until the item is received, tracking numbers do not prove you're sending the item, as they can be generated without posting anything.
WHY u say this is a SCAM bro? One thing is that i have much knowledge of marketing and i get a AWESOME DEALS of +95% DISCOUNTS in any product that i re-sell them to other customers ..... and but look at the screenshot of the offer to see if this is a scam: https://imgur.com/ZCrVrg9In-case anyone didn't open his image... Get outta here scammer

You should paint the people that are red tagged appropriately in that table using [color=red ].
I will consider adding that in the future. I don't think red trust necessarily disqualifies someone from being a merit source, and I'm sure theymos or whoever chooses takes it into account already. I might also add a note for accounts that have sent a suspiciously large amount of merit to individuals for no obvious reason. That being said, I'm pretty sure that's also already being looked at when choosing. What are you trying to say here? That someone who is a scammer is going to properly distribute merit points among the users, without abusing it in any possible way? That's just outright naivety. Not too long ago, you yourself had red trust. There are other users, such as TMAN, who have red trust, yet would make fine merit sources in my opinion. Obviously, the vast majority of users who have negative trust would be terrible choices, my point was simply that red trust does not necessarily equate to being a scammer in some cases. My main reason for not tagging people with red trust is because theymos has explicitly stated the merit system was released with the intention of putting an end to the trend of giving people negative trust for being shitty posters. That's partially why I sped up work on merit. I don't agree with using the trust system for pure spam; that's not what it was designed for.
Whether you or I agree with this or not, I am trying to interfere with the selection process as little as possible. Do you really think any of the sig spammers who have been tagged actually have a shot of getting accepted anyway? I highly doubt it.

theymos not responding in the thread does not mean the application was not processed.
Nevermind, I took the "N/A" as a No for some reason.
Obviously, those who are accepted will know, but I think it's also fair to inform those who were not accepted that they will need to re-apply. Interestingly enough, theymos merited a few of the application posts, which I assume means acceptance.
