we know something that Icey does not know about Dash and the SEC ... should we tell him ? nah, better not.  Who are the "we" you are talking about? The Dash Insider Club? I thought there was no Dash Inner Circle. TIL there is a Dash Inner Circle composed of Core Group Inc and their long-time, large-holder sycophants.  This practice of selective disclosure of market-sensitive information regarding "Dash and the SEC" is unethical and illegal (IOW par for the Dash scam course). in 2000 the SEC imposed new regulations to eliminate the practice of "selective disclosure," in which business leaders provided earnings estimates and other vital information to analysts and large institutional shareholders before informing smaller investors and the rest of the general public. The regulation forces companies to make market-sensitive information available to all parties at the same time. For those wondering about Dash on Poloniex : DASH is currently under maintenance or experiencing wallet issues. Deposits and withdrawals will remain disabled as we work to find, test, and audit a solution.
Thank you for your patience in the meantime. Poloniex is most likely updating to Dash latest software version. I doubt this is related to the stress testing as other exchanges (who have far more Dash traded volume) are working just fine. This just concerns Dash deposits and withdrawals, Dash trading itself does not seem effected as the trading chart is not frozen : https://cryptowat.ch/markets/poloniex/dash/btc/4hr and the trade history is also up to date. To tungfa : maybe someone from the Dash Core-Team who has an official contactperson with Poloniex can check with them, see if they need some help or can provide us with some additional info? Dash has been frozen on Polo for more than 24 hours. That's not normal "updating" and neither is the ominous silence from Polo. It appears the cargo cult's try-hard crapflood of transactions (obviously designed to scream "ZOMG LOOK AT DASH IT HAS MAOR TX THAN BITCOIN WOW VERY SCALING") broke something in a major exchange's Dash infrastructure. So much for Macrochip's blatant falsehoods about how "users don't even notice" this result of a stress test during an upgrade. If I was a Dash bagholder waiting to get my Dash off Polo and start up a Masternode, I'd certainly notice something has been going wrong for over a day. Too bad paying Clown Group Inc's $520,000 in back taxes is a higher priority than funding the Dash Help Desk.  |

Dash is freeze in poloniex, why?
It's now been over 15 hours, so the Pollyannas' excuse of "it's just an upgrade" looks increasingly implausible with every passing minute (so much for "muh fast synch time"). Dash is beclowning itself at the protocol level. It's a nice change from Dash's usual practice of beclowning itself on the governance layer; very innovative! When you backport 10,000s of commits from Bitcoin Core while suffering massive code drift due to believing Roger/Jihan/Craig anti-RBF+segwit FUD, something is going to break eventually. Especially when you bolt on a proof-of-stake Masternode kludge layer. You are still at this icebreaker? You are a machine. A broken-down machine. If only we knew a mechanic who could repair our poor ice trolling machine.  oh oh, that does not look good Icey No explanation for why Dash has been broken for >16 hours? Did the "stress test" break something that Polo can't fix? Maybe you should have tested the spam flood on test net first? Why is Coinbase looking at zcash and not dash?
Because of its Instamine and centralization (Dash Core Group Inc has 100% management and control), Dash cannot meet the strict requirements of the GDAX Digital Asset Framework. The problems are manifold, lets list some as we type along.
A. it does not know what it wants to be. Starts of new age then became dark age and now and area gone by which leads straight to the next point.
B. People are sick and tired of CEO's and want the money in the own pocked and not sponsor some under-performing overpaid leach. The new decentralized world everyone is his/her own ceo.
C. Over the years the world has seen lots of inefficient gimmicks one of the worst is masternodes. What they cost and what the do is in no relation. Paying billions to mix a couple of coins now and then. For that kind of money a whole army can be sent to the casino to wash some notes.
D, The coin emission rate is one of the worst in years to come.
E, Shady past and unnecessary over-complicated hype oriented coding.
F, It has not solved anything in a meaningful way, whats the purpose of its existence again?
G, Hype and gimmickry only takes you to a certain level

Dash is a successful, innovative project.
Dash is bad crypto, sold via snake oil marketing. There is no clearly defined vision or objective goal, just Evan floundering around grasping at crypto fads while his cargo cultists cheer and clap for anything he says/does. there are many parts of it that are up in the air and we're figuring out what will make the best implementation possible, then we're going with that.
To implement IP obfuscation it would push Evolution back about 2-3 months, then we would use it in v12 for about a year, then throw it out as soon as evolution came along, then I would have to redo the work again....What sense does that make?
The pattern ^here^ is obvious: Duffield announces a trendy new vaporware feature to hype (ring sigs, Masternode blinding, i2p integration), but then uses the 'ZOMG SO URGENT' next trendy new thing (Evolusham) as an excuse for not completing the previous one(s). Thanks to Dash's closed development process, nobody can verify if the supposed feature was ever actually started (much less feasible/working) or simply used for a quick price pump. Dash  Any update on the 'Masternode Blinding' feature pre-announced 3 years ago? Tungfa, Big Rich, Tao? Dash wasted many years of irreplaceable time and millions of dollars on Evolution, which is still vaporware with no MVP or even a roadmap. Dash cultists believed spending money would guarantee results, ignoring scope creep and the bloated Corp Group Inc become a self-serving entrenched bureaucratic fiefdom insulated from the real world where price and results matter. DashHoles loved their instamine more than they hated the irredeemable reputation for fraud that came along with it. They thought crying "FUD" and "troll" would convince the market to ignore Dash's instamine, centralization, snake oil marketing, and laugh-out-loud bad crypto. There were wrong. At this rate, Dash may not even be in the Top 20 by the end of the year. I don't think there is really something wrong with DASH, the general sentiment in the market is not that positive for the moment and all coins have dropped massively the last couple of months.
That's a very poor hand-waving excuse given Dash is dropping more "massively" than many other coins in its peer group. When Dash was mooning along with the rest of the sector, we were told it was due to Dash's super-special unique unicorn properties (Treasury to fund Shrem Attacks, Masternode HYIP to launder money, PrivateSend to amuse GMAX with its broken version of Coinjoin, etc). But now you want to appeal to generalities to avoid uncomfortable specifics? Lol, get out of here with that self-serving cult recruitment propaganda. This is not Dash.org or Reddit; we are smarter than that here. Never had looked into cryptos or had dug this deep, the way you had shown here. You had changed my viewpoint the way I was looking at cryptos in general. From now on I will always try to evaluate the projects by digging deep into it. Yes, always invest in fundamentals and hodl. Skip the scams like Dash, unless you want to see a case study in fraud and failure. Dig deep into legit projects with cool tech. I suggest Bitcoin, Litecoin, Cardano, Monero, and Ethereum Classic. |

Documents seen by Daily Business show that the management team brought in by KKR and Shamrock to replace the founders will receive generous golden parachute payments.
The document reveals that the company was sold to the US business of Paddy Power Betfair (PPB) for $465m, but this fell short of the enterprise value of $559m which was owed to preference shareholders. Therefore, no part of the consideration will be payable to FanDuel’s ordinary shareholders.
TSE Holdings, a subsidiary of PPB, now owns 60% of the company, with the remaining stock held by FanDuel stockholders in FD Holdings.
One investor described the legal settlement as “an American stitch up” while another, Kevin Dorren, tweeted: “A transaction valuing FanDuel at $465m is something to celebrate unless you are an employee or early investor!”
FanDuel was founded in Edinburgh in July 2009 and grew rapidly in the US fantasy sports industry with players regularly winning six-figure prizes. But the company became embroiled in costly legal battle with a number of states over the legality of the games. A planned merger with big rival DraftKings collapsed and the business was put up for sale.
The documents seen by Daily Business show that talks with Paddy Power Betfair began in December last year.
FanDuel’s accounts showed it made a loss in its last financial year although Nigel Eccles, one of the founders, told Daily Business in April that it made a profit in the fourth quarter.
