I haven't needed to do kyc with binance and have deposited 0.5+ btc in the past.
I'm using it from the UK so you could vpn through to there or somewhere like Scandinavia or the Netherlands who may be more relaxed still (I'm assuming).
Nice I'll check it out, the only thing that would worry me is if they let you deposit and make trades but want ID to withdraw which is super shady lol.

Economy / Exchanges / I'm looking for a New Trading Site

I'm looking for a reliable exchange where I can just trade between different crypto (I don't need fiat trading) without needing ID verification and all the other annoying requirements. Something simple like BTC-E was years back. I'm U.S based but I can use a VPN if needed. Any suggestions would be great.

In normal times just getting off social media for a while if you have it would do wonders for your mental health. The best thing to do right now is learning new skills, read more, just stuff you never had the time to do before that can actually improve your life going forward.

Economy / Speculation / Re: I locked the profit - SOLD ALL COINS

Sold my coins today. Bitcoin is overbought now.
I've sold everything yesterday, before the pump. Think in which condition I'm right now but I'm happy the same, I've made a nice profit Anyway, it's a good choice the yours, right now is difficult to predict what will happen at the bitcoin price. With Bitcoin and things similar it's best to not completely exit your position, I like to hold a small percentage in case it keeps rising. It's worked out for me.

Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this the next big run-up in price?

A new ATH might happen in the next 5 years.
5 years is just way too long IMO, Bitcoin is now almost a decade old and still having a hard time breaking into the mainstream, what people don't get is that the longer Bitcoin drags in penny stock territory the more it becomes viewed as a fad. When you consider how fast companies like Google, FB or Twitter grew it makes Bitcoin look like a stunted child, you can only beat a dead horse so long. Whales better try and move this thing soon or risk crypto fading into memory. It's still not the easiest to use for the average person. The hacks and stolen funds also keep the people we need away.

Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It

I remember investing with these guys on Bitfunder (I think it was called that.. it was years ago).
I remember owning like 30 shares when they hit 5 BTC a piece. Decided to hold on to them until the end.
A bit of a regrettable decision. I hold less BTC now than I did when I was investing in stupid securities. Sad to think where I'd be if I hadn't been scammed years ago.
It's tough to forget and move on, I did get out well before before this mess happened but I do regret not cashing out at 5 btc a share, I figured the divs would continue to be decent for several more months. Of course it didn't work out that way.

Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Wallets for Windows Phone?
|
on: August 12, 2015, 07:00:52 PM

Ive been using windows phones for about 2 years+ now.. n I still havent found one.. I just put some coins on my localbitcoins account(with 2FA) n use it when I need to use BTC on the go. So far so good. Once windows 10 comes out properly.. apparently it will support iOS and android apps with just minor changes from the developers side. Cant wait for that to happen.
I really hope windows 10 will solve this problem... Atleast it seems to be possible to run android apps without any changes if you fake it being android (as long as it not requiring the play store..) I also use windows phone and I think we'll see lots of new apps in the future, apparently it's super simple to port apps over and most run very well aside from the ones that need google services. You could install Windows 10 preview on your phone or a backup phone and test out the android porting tools with a few wallets and see which ones function.
