On February 5, 2018, China's central bank took another step toward building a firewall to prevent domestic traders and investors from accessing international cryptocurrency trading sites.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Is Etherbanking a scam or multi-level? on: February 05, 2018, 12:41:17 PM

I think the Etherbanking- this new project is not much information to confirm it is fraud.  it will need more time to check. However, almost 99% of investment projects entrusted (HYIP) will eventually be Scam. In my opinion Ether banking is a hybrid platform similar to BitConnect. But now many people who invest in trust projects like this because its profits are very attractive.  Grin

4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does China hate Bitcoin? on: February 03, 2018, 12:19:01 PM
This is pretty much the whole story right here...

Quote
" NIFA official Li Lihui told a technology conference in Shanghai on Friday that a goal of China’s monetary regulation is to ensure that “the source and destination of every piece of money can be tracked.” "

Bitcoin is the mortal enemy of 'tracking'.  Therefore China is going to continue to assault Bitcoin from every angle.  You can be sure of that.

i think Bitcoin payments are not accepted by government in China also as many other asian countries, because bitcoin has not shown its true value. The bitcoin value is based on the number of users. Its value is not stable, can be increased or drop down rapidly. Moreover, besides Bitcoin, there are many other coins in the world's crypto currency, which makes bitcoin lose its value when currency market is fluctuated..
Laws in Asian countries  is not complete as developed countries. Their technology and laws are not enough to manage virtual currency transactions. There is a risk of money laundering or delinquent transactions

i think they ban it to buy some time to figure out how to tax it. This would be my interpretation and hope. Grin

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: bitconnect down the floor. Is lending dead? on: January 31, 2018, 04:16:45 PM

After the announcement of the closure of the trading floor and lending service, most investors sold off BCC, which led to the BCC down more than 80% of the price. Now many investors still can not withdraw BCC out of trading platform for sale because of not working system. For this unstable system, I think I should not invest in this time.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Why is Ripple considered as potential coin? on: January 30, 2018, 01:57:59 PM
Ripple is not a ambiguous as other currencies. It only focus on international payments, use blockchain block supply for banks with oversea transactions.
Ripple allows banks to save up to 30% of the cost, but for users, this number up to 50-60% for money transfer or payment operations.
Ripple does not have any barriers, payments can be made across borders. Transactions are freedom, directly and immediately with very cheap fees.

Bitcoin is the most typical of crypto currency, first published, and widely used in e-commerce with small transaction costs and not through intermediary organizations. Bitcoin is like real money but can not be used in offline market such as cash but can only be used online based on internet transactions.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to evaluate potential ICO projects? on: January 26, 2018, 02:02:28 PM
One more time, before choose what project to invest in, you should learn as many as you can about it: white-paper, team, product, platform and technology, roadmap, reviews etc.
in addition (if you are not an early adopter) you should also look how active the community for the project is: telegram, bitcointalk, reddit, twitter, etc...

Because I am beginner , I am limited about information. Can you help advice some good website or prestigious community to discuss about bitcoin, white-paper, technology, platforms,...
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How to evaluate potential ICO projects? on: January 25, 2018, 11:50:27 AM
As I known, ICO is a kind of risky investment. Similar to the IPO which is the form of invite for capital investment, but when buying IPO, investors can research the information about the company they invested, find out about official finance reports and be protected by law when joining. In contrast, ICO projects are often rather ambiguous and unprotected by government so the risk is so high for investors.
So how to evaluate a potential ICO project, look forward to receiving comments from you  Smiley
