1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ergon | Stable p2p Electronic Cash on: October 22, 2021, 06:40:13 PM
This project hasn't gotten much attention. Sometimes that's good and sometimes not. People being less trusting of new projects these days could be one of the reasons but you can't blame them really. Interested to see how this project progresses.

For sure HiveOS is great but for me I guess I feel I have more flexibility with windows although not as stable. I also haven't migrated to Hiveos because I don't know enough about setting it up correctly and getting the most out of my rig.

If you really want to move to a stable mining rig than you can migrate to HiveOS.It is not difficult and there are a lot of Youtube videos regarding such setup,a lot of them are over 20 minutes long and very detailed.Migrating by following these HOWTO-s will be as easy as 1,2,3 for everyone.

If you read this forum, then you will find all the tinctures and recommendations you need.

The main problem with Windows is in the inconvenient administration of many mining farms, and in Hive OS and Rave OS all the necessary software is installed, and you do not need to spend a lot of time setting up and searching for the necessary software (for example, for BIOS firmware, etc.)

Thanks all. I have tried Hiveos in the past and one of the main issues was the overclocking and power usage settings. I will figure out how to best configure those. I just need to make the time since I'm busy.

Hello.

Is it possible to run Cpuminer on all nodes of a cluster? I intend to set up a cluster to work, and I want to take advantage of mining.

First you should ask your boss if it's permitted, then the system administrator how to do it.

I don't think he said "at" work. He said "to" work.

Guys, problem solved!

An extra stick of 8gb ram solved the issue.

Currently running stabily on 12gb ram + 180gb virtual.

Took off the extra SSD drive.

Will update in 48 hours.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

Yeah, I suspected it needed more Ram. 4gb isn't enough these days. In my Biostar TB360 2.0 I needed 16gb minimum to handle max gpus.Good job, let us know how things are going.

Add more Ram 16gb minimum. Not sure what the bios settings are for that mobo but make sure bios is UEFI mode. I agree too that you should upgrade your cpu. Also, did you try Gen 2 in the bios for all PCIE slots?

Not possible for the reasons I mentioned and others have mentioned. Let's see how long we can keep this going lol.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it possible for SHIBA INU to reach 0.01$? on: October 09, 2021, 11:24:22 PM
Well it seems meme season is all over again but let me just say I dont like meme coin but hey it brings money and if you catch it quickly then congrats on added cashes but seriously it makes crypto look childishly crazy but again some people are crazy meme followers so yeah if catch an early train I might hop in with experimental bag and ride with hopes of reaching the promised meme lands
like the answer I will write now. nothing impossible can happen to cryptocurrencies. Why do I think like this? I have opinion, not based on an analysis of the SHIBA coin. but is based on the nature of the cryptocurrency itself, which is volatile, over time..so what is not imposible, mate

Yes, actually there are things that are impossible in crypto because there are factors that cannot be overcome, just like the laws of physics here on earth. We're talking about massive amounts of capital to sustain a price range that makes no sense, a max supply that is so large (currently) that it dwarfs dogecoin, and so there's really no comparison to be made to the original meme coin. I'm sure the great shib community will work diligently to raise the price but ultimately it's not in their control, it's the organic market that will determine the price. Informed and experienced traders know they can profit from the hype, but I agree, it diminishes the credibility of blockchain and crypto as a whole because it attracts the wrong kind of attention from people who want to regulate in the name of "protecting" people from losses. It's wise to go into crypto with the mindset that you are responsible for everything and anything that happens. Shiba will not go to .01 in its current form. It's always possible that it may become something unrecognizable from today, which is why I say anything is possible but not probable, but then shib will not be shib as we know it. I will admit it's a fun topic to discuss and can be generalized to all meme coins. I have some shib myself. Hopium doesn't take into account any factors but hope itself. The volume, liquidity, hodlers, traders, thousands of alternative coins, bitcoin, ethereum, all this capitalization cannot be ignored.

It's a surprise that this question topic is receiving so many replies. There are many well deserving coins out there that don't attract this attention. It's curious.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it possible for SHIBA INU to reach 0.01$? on: October 06, 2021, 03:51:30 AM
Cute question but the probability is very unlikely. This would be approximately a 60,000% increase.  The market cap for the current circulating supply would swell to something like $5,400,000,000,000...5.4 trillion dollars? That's a large chunk of the money currently on earth. Unless a lot of Shiba is burned, this isn't probable, but who knows, anything is possible.

Hi, it's not easy to create a blockchain project and market it perfectly. I agree that if you have time to comment on grammar (which I have done with other projects) then you might have a little time to help the project. Even if for a few minutes a day, or week? But I look at the positive intentions or unintended positive outcomes of feedback regardless of what it is because we need to attract more positivity and not feed the negative vacuum that takes away all our energy. This is a good project and I am grateful for its creation. Thank you.

Hi, Going to give this project a chance, time will tell. Let's mine. Smiley

Hello,

Any recent updates on the project?
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Cducoin (CDU) Official - POW - SHA256 on: July 14, 2021, 03:29:29 AM
The chain has been reset, changed back, reset again, and now it looks like it was changed back again all over the past 24 hours. I saw two exchanges mining the same coin on two different chains at the same time. This project is off the rails right now.

"off the rails" lol, wish I knew that it was going to reset last night when I poured my electricity into it lol. That's alright though, it can happen. Not sure where all this will go.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Cducoin (CDU) Official - POW - SHA256 on: July 14, 2021, 03:19:24 AM
What's happening with the project. Tried to mine tonight and was disconnected from stratum.cducoin multiple times. There was another miner who was not "kicked". All previous blocks disappeared as if they never happened, so this is still in testing phase? 38k Cducoins were mined yesterday and it looks like the chain was reset to 0.
