1  Bitcoin / Hardware / Antminer S9 B9 Firmware on: October 20, 2016, 08:26:34 PM
anyone happen to have the original firmware for Antminer S9-B9

or some other firmware for batch 9 that isnt the new autofreq ones

i would realy appreciate it if someone could supply this

2  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: s9 batch 17 (and 16?) changes on: October 19, 2016, 10:25:19 PM
a little update.

after 18 hours it started hashing with no intervention from me, but was showing all temps as 0 and fans going crazy, but hashrate seems ok.

hope bitmain can get back to me with a earlier firmware
3  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: s9 batch 17 (and 16?) changes on: October 18, 2016, 09:36:37 PM
stupid as i am i did the firmware upgrade and this is all that happens now.

PS: its been like this for hours, ive done a few reboots too, and factory reset etc.

using version 5.1 and getting the following in my log after activating mobileminer

01.03.2015 14:46:09: Error occurred submitting MobileMiner stats: Conversion from string "0.0071" to type 'Double' is not valid.

is there anything i missconfigured ?

Please try this version, see if it addresses you issue.

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New stratum/getwork proxy with Web-based GUI and pools management on: March 10, 2015, 12:40:33 AM
im getting worker authorization errors on pools where i append workernames

it only let the first one connect.

is this intended or a bug ?

update :

if i dont append names and just make a new worker for the proxy, it seems to work.

maybe im being stupid and missunderstanding how this feature works
with all miners not using append they also all get the same difficulty

i can't see any output that has 0.0071 anywhere

i dont think its only 1 miner either, because i get no data on mobileminer at all

got 10 antminer s3 and two S5's

my locale on my computer is Norwegian if that has anything to do with it

Would you look at the output grid for your miners and see what value would be 0.0071?

internal fan control will control the pwm fan based on the temp in the psu ?

just hooked up 3 Antminer S3+

they all seem to overclock worse than my 7 normal antminer s3's, and higher hardware error Sad

are you overclocking your antminers ?

maybe im pushing the PSU too hard running it at 2000watt constantly.

5 antminer running OC 250 seem to be drawing about 2050watt from the wall.

also the fans im using, on pull instead of push worked miracles, i run them at half speed and the psu is not warm to the touch anymore.
the type i used is a few posts back.

ty for the fan tips kgb2mining
16  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [NO STOCK] DPS-2000BB 2000W Server PSU Interface Board on: September 02, 2014, 06:29:59 AM
I had one PSU keep popping off , and I only run 4 Ants on any of them.  Felt really hot - it was cooled at the time with 2x80mm fans.  Swapped those out for 3x60mm fans, configured to pull air out, instead of trying to force air through.  Been running like a rock ever since.

I've had extremely good luck with the 3x60mm fans configuration, and would recommend you try that.  If you want to render your fans useless later on, you can clip the connector end off of it and put the wires directly onto the breakout board terminals (as long as fans are 12v), instead of worrying about the headers off the board.  I can snap pics tomorrow if you want.

on what side of the psu did you put the fans to pull out ?

ill soon be recieving my high cfm 40mm fans and would like to try the air pull method

Couldn't tell the CFM from the listing.  As long as you're north of minimum 15CFM, 20+ would be better, two of them should work.  Three would be ideal and cover all the spots you need to cover.

should do the trick i would think
19  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [NO STOCK] DPS-2000BB 2000W Server PSU Interface Board on: August 25, 2014, 02:39:53 PM
what kind of fans are you guys using ?

i put 2 40mm fans on the side, but they are just normal papst ones, not server grade.

and the psu shuts down when im pulling about 2kwatt, i can feel it getting realy warm, so im assuming the heat is shutting it down.

any tips and links to fans that are being used and works with 2k watt draw would be much apreciated Smiley

20  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: BITMAIN Antminer S3 support and OverClocking thread on: August 06, 2014, 02:47:51 PM
i thought the S3's shut down if they reached 80 degrees celcius ?
anyone tested this since i see alot of talk about fire hazards.

also could get a tellstick and some kind of nexa unit and turn off the power if the temperature inside the room reaches X degrees Smiley
