1  Other / Meta / Re: Can we get whoever the mod is who did this banned? on: August 15, 2018, 12:54:24 AM
I know it was on topic and it doesn't really break the posting rules, but you don't really know if you broke it or not. Like I said, just because topics are on-topic, doesn't mean they can't be deleted.
It wasn’t my post.

Of COURSE posts can be deleted.  Socks can also be green.

The crux of the issue appears to be why they were deleted; a question which seems to be getting deflected instead of appropriately addressed.
2  Other / Meta / Re: Can we get whoever the mod is who did this banned? on: August 15, 2018, 12:19:51 AM
You should explain more on the Bias part, otherwise nothing much is going to happen.

Also, chill down. If the mod deleted it, it would have been for a reason, or hell, someone would have reported it. On topic replies can be sometimes deleted, if they break some other rules of the forum.

You  did notice that the post was about a block, found by the pool, being confirmed and celebrated.

So on topic, not spam, and not breaking the posting rules.

If it was mistake, then it would be appropriate to own up to it, which would also put the issue to rest, yes?

Breaking News: bitcointalk adopts Facebook & Twitter "Hate speech" algorithms; subsequently starts deleting posts in a POOL THREAD relating to POOL FINDING BLOCKS.

That is the only explanation one could possibly fathom to justify such actions.

(Update: Ties between PETA and bitcointalk are rumored to have been at play here after an abundance of chicken consumption by pool members was revealed.)

Bitmain T9+ and S9 sold out. More hashrate incoming!
Not unexpected.  The coupon gimmick ended yesterday so ... whatever their latest scheme is, it starts today.

Haha! Yep.

Today I give you the "S9j"!  (14.5 THs), cheaper than the price for an S9i (14 THs) was yesterday.

As FatnSlo mentioned, he got a reply in about 10 hours.

Just like many other miners that contacted us regarding this issue via our only official support channel: https://support.slushpool.com/

Wow.  "Many" miners, you say?

Just wondering why it's the miners that are obligated to contact you and tell you that your pool isn't functioning,

... rather than you posting on your site that you detected your pool was not working correctly for your miners and you were already working on a fix to your problem.

That's a difference with a distinction.

Can someone ban this troll before he actually identifies the real cause of the problem and we have to come to grips with the real problem?
FTFY.

In other words: if a 13.5Th miner would go to 16-17Th and use less power, why would i care they take one or 2 percent of my mining hashrate? (all things being equal..)
Last I checked on Poloniex, trust was pinned at an exchange rate of 100% hashrate.

Don’t give up.  There’s still time in the day (depending on your time zone) for more.

Thanks.  Google’s dns gets me to you, as does a direct query to the domain root.  Problem must be my provider.

Anyone else getting dns issues resolving Kano.is?

Next thing you know a certain hardware vendor will stop pumping out hardware.

Thanks for the block! Pheww this month is turning out to be not so lucky as expected. Hope it proves me wrong Wink
There's still 43% of the month to go.  As things go, the month is pretty "normal" in both the usual and statistical sense.

Seems I "missed" an entire block? #2286   527944   cobramining.M8.08   12.52554853   2018‑06‑17 19:43:25   +1 Confirms   ~8,443,963,005,283 My current shares have disappeared but the block don't show to my rewards?

Patience...Patience.
After it's fully confirmed you can start worrying.  From the help pages on kano.is:
Quote
When are payments sent out?

The block 'Status' must first reach '+101 Confirms' on the Blocks page, and then is flagged as 'Matured', before the reward is distributed.
The block reward transaction is created manually some time before the block matures, and sent out automatically a minute after the block matures.

over 300 percent block out there waiting to be cracked.  Let's get this one...haha
Nah, we can let your other pool have that one.  Wink
I believe he was referring to the network block, not the pool.

(I could be wrong)

I'd be all-in for a 300% network block...lots of transactions.

Getting back on-topic, I seem to be cursed to hover around 300THs...
narf...
You're back up a bit!  Just curious if the T9's or the girlfriend got fixed.  Don't leave us hanging.

I just changed my payment address,so the payment from the latest block which is at 92 confirmations will go to the old address or the new?
It goes to the address that was in place when the block was found.

just hope that sales drop to nothing and miners start burning out.  :-)  difficulty will go down.
I hope the fire sale of hardware from Bitmain stops "Real Soon Now."    Bring back the days where miners are a lot harder to come by.
