Three good suggestions to see if there is potential to speculate on favorite sports
I also sometimes look at how many potential participants are voting meaning that most are leaning in which direction. I assume that if other people pay more attention to the camps and the odds of a club the predictions would have been read even though the probabilities could still change, it's better to bet with maybe 5-10 people than with just a few bookmakers, I don't think it's a copy entry Cheesy . I think you have done this regularly, if possible in other threads you can give your betting history, it would be nice because not everyone bets when the favorite team plays, euphoria.
Most people will almost always bet on the favorite in any competition (football, tennis, horse racing). Of these, only a minority will make a more rational and informed choice based on deeper analytics, you also notice this. But don’t forget about the ratio of the odds for a particular result and the size of your betting budget. With a smaller budget, it is subconsciously easier to bet on an outsider, but with a high odds.

I guess people jump straight when speaking of strategy thinking about how to win more, but there is also a way of thinking which is how do I have most fun with. Let's say your game is by definition a loosing game because it is certainly rigged by system to let the house win. Your strategy if you really like it would be about how can I play more time with the same coin.
How can you play longer with a coin if you know that the chance of success tends to 0? Let's assume that the success rate is 1-2%. That is, you lose 8 out of 10 times. Although the success/loss result for any bet is 50%. Do you simply reduce your bet size to the lowest possible value and play longer? Or what exactly is such a strategy?
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it valid to invest in a gaming projects? on: February 20, 2024, 12:02:26 PM
Things change from time to time and one need to follow up on the new trend, when it comes for investment have to make research towards what your investing, because not every game project coin worth to invest on, but rather a personal research is more important in the cryptocurrency market investment and also being patient to hold after investing.
The GameFi sector has attracted a large amount of funds, but there are still few truly interesting projects. As already answered earlier, Heroes of Mavia are now of interest, previously the shooter SHRAPNEL. I myself participate and follow the fate of MagicAlchemy, Kuroro Beast, Tarochi. And I can say that in addition to interest, they have already brought me some profit.

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quick profit is the only reason why we invest in Altcoins on: February 19, 2024, 06:00:16 PM
There are lots of benefits or advantages altcoins have over bitcoin.

One would be their lower transaction fees and faster transaction times. I have seen lots of businesses that offer services or products to be paid in altcoins instead of bitcoin because if they were to pay in bitcoin, it would take them forever and not to mention the incredibly high transaction fees.

Second would be since altcoins are relatively cheaper, some investors invest their money in hopes of making huge profits. Some investors are trying to catch the ‘next bitcoin’ of course that is quite difficult to catch because no altcoin, not even ethereum, has reached the success that bitcoin has.

There are lots of types of altcoins that cater specifically to different kinds of people hence i know a lot of people who actually prefer using altcoins than bitcoin especially for everyday transactions
You say "everyday transactions", but this is only relevant for native tokens/coins of a anything chain in particular or stablecoins in general. They are not always convenient for getting quick benefits. But project tokens, regardless of the chain, are already more interesting for investment in order to obtain quick profits. For example, buy and sell $PIXEL within a couple of hours after listing and forget about it forever.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are altcoins important? on: February 18, 2024, 05:32:46 PM
Altcoins are vital for diversifying investment portfolios beyond Bitcoin, introducing innovative technologies, catering to specialized use cases, fostering healthy market competition, and increasing overall liquidity in the cryptocurrency ecosystem. They contribute to decentralization by offering alternatives to Bitcoin's dominance and provide a platform for experimentation and learning within the crypto community.

In other words, altcoins are a "testing ground" to help determine Blockchain tech's true capabilities. Some features are added into the Bitcoin blockchain after they pass the test on other chains. Developers can't afford to mess up a trillion dollar network, right? Altcoins wouldn't exist if Bitcoin wasn't open source. With plenty of coins to choose from, we can save money on fees and reduce wait times.

Having a single cryptocurrency for everything (eg: BTC) is not a good idea. It won't be able to scale to billions of people worldwide. The more altcoins there are, the less network load Bitcoin will have. Ultimately, the market will decide which altcoins will stay and which ones will fade away into oblivion. Remember to never invest more than what you can't afford to lose, and you'll have nothing to worry about. Just my opinion Smiley
But it is important not to forget the very meaning of the concept “altcoin”. That is, an alternative cryptocurrency. The altcoin for BTC became Namecoin, and later Litecoin. Now the concept of altcoin is applied to both stablecoins (which are an alternative to fiat currencies in crypto), and project tokens (essentially digital shares of companies), and directly alternative cryptocurrencies (offering other mechanisms, protocols, models for using crypto).
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My wealth plan in the next 3 years from today on: February 18, 2024, 07:02:35 AM
Lol sticking the entirety of your financial stack let alone your crypto stack in an altcoin is crazy.  Why not stick most into bitcoin do ypu not see what has happened each cycle.  Bitcoin rises up higher and eventually all top altcoins fade away for the next fad or flavor of the month.  Bitcoin is the move.
Bitcoin's entry point is too high right now. Even if the OP’s budget is $50K and he decides to diversify it, for example, as 1:4, he will receive at best 0.25 BTC. In the long term (3 years for the OP), I don’t think that Bitcoin will give more than x2-3 with a positive forecast. Liquidity pools for stablecoins with good APY look more stable and predictable.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your doing for now? on: February 17, 2024, 06:29:42 PM
In this case, it is easier for a beginner to divide his crypto portfolio into several parts. Part of it should be used for more conservative staking/restaking of liquidity (Eigenlayer, Etherfi, Curve, Ethena), part of it should be spent on tokens of new promising projects, and the rest should be distributed among the purchase of already recognized altcoins/memetokens/NFTs.
The method you describe is certainly very good to use, because, of course, it is a very logical choice to make.
But as a beginner, does he have the ability to do what you say? Of course, he also have to ask yourself again, As long as it can be done, of course it's fine and there are no problems.
I do not recommend that even though there are big profits for every new project, it is an investment option. Remember that many new projects are SCAMs, and he need to analyze them well before deciding, especially for beginners.
It is not easy to determine whether a project is good or not.Once again, if a beginner can do it, of course it will be very good. Remember that dividing it into several types will certainly require funds and analysis first before deciding.I think just buying a potential altcoin is a good thing because, as the halving approaches, there will certainly continue to be movement.
Nowadays there are many sources of information for beginners. The days of the “wild” ICO 2016-2017 have already passed. There are services that provide analytics (Dune, CMC, CoinGecko) and independent bloggers (YouTube and telegram channels, Twitter). First of all, it is better for beginners to look at projects in which there are already investments; preferably from tier-1 and tier-2 VC and crypto industry whales. These are the minimum basic requirements in my opinion.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin hidden gems. on: February 16, 2024, 05:45:29 PM
It's hard to guess if I have to guess, I stay away from things that can be detrimental, in my personal opinion, if I spend money from my trouser pocket just to buy a little known altcoin, let alone a new altcoin that has just appeared, I would rather change direction to go to These top 5 altcoins could be a wise change rather than having to follow someone else's lead to invest in an unknown altcoin
I hope there will be a big miracle for the new coin invested to be big. This greedy nature looks around social media. An investor gets big profits so he wants to imitate, even though everything is not easy to achieve. Yes, even though in the crypto world, what is impossible can happen at any time in a short time
That's the hope of all investors when they risk their money on a new project hoping for a miracle of 1000x the profits. It is normal for us to hope for something we are betting on, but we must be prepared for all risks if those hopes do not come true. Hopefully you don't make the wrong choice so that good things happen for you this year
Such a large profit is very rare, I am sure that the ratio is more than 1 to 1000. Moreover, new projects no longer just distribute their tokens (this also applies to airdrops), but offer to invest in themselves. IDO and analogues are of interest, but most often we are talking about x3-5 profit.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your doing for now? on: February 16, 2024, 02:51:32 PM
For beginners or newcomers, they don't really research market prices before the increase, the most important thing is that they can invest now.  In fact, they attended because they were tempted to see the fantastic prices and didn't want to miss out on the opportunity.  Sometimes the decision they make to make a purchase now can be the right decision and can trigger market prices to soar even more
Newcomers usually rarely jump straight into making investments that they themselves have not yet studied. But perhaps there are quite a few who are brave, but perhaps because of information from colleagues who can be trusted, even though, of course, it could actually be misleading in what they are told. If they are tempted by the fantastic prices, of course it won't affect them, but if the investment can be profitable with a large value, of course it will be very enthusiastic for beginners—not just beginners, but also old investors who want to be able to enjoy it too.You could be right that the decision of beginners who are eager to make purchases because they are tempted by profits could of course trigger an increase in prices at the same time, but that is not the only indication of an increase because many factors can also influence the increase, and one of them is, of course, buying on simultaneously or largely.

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ERC-404 the New Narrative? on: February 15, 2024, 07:08:40 PM
It’s not for nothing that I mentioned SmartLayer earlier. The other day they released an implementation of the ERC-404v2. That is, they implement a “box in a box” - ERC-5169 and TokenScript as an xNFT “wrapped” in ERC-404. This is a brain explosion.  https://twitter.com/SmartLayer/status/1756959004906188841
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Talking about MINING KASPA... on: February 15, 2024, 11:59:55 AM
Soooo... As I said in previous posts, I started mining on circlehash platform. I Bought some KS3Ms, because I felt like thats the best option as of today. But SOON, there will be new miners, from ibelink.io, named BM-KS Max, which got 10.5 TH/s, which is actually crazy and is avaiable for preorders. Do you guys think I should upgrade to the BM-KS Max, or should I stay with KS3Ms from iceriver?  Huh
I don’t know how much you bought the KS3M for, but if we take the conventional values of $6500-7000, we get the cost of 1TH at $1080-1170. We similarly calculate the cost of 1TH for BM-KS Max and get a value of $1270. That is, KS3M is more profitable, but if you scale their number, all the benefit is lost due to higher energy consumption, since KS3M and BM-KS Max consume the same 3400 Watts. If you have the opportunity to sell the KS3M on the secondary market, then I would advise selling one of them and buying a BM-KS Max. My calculations are approximate and I do not know your financial capabilities.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Upcoming altcoins on: February 13, 2024, 06:20:54 PM
Constantly new alt coins are coming in the market as you say what are the upcoming good altcoins but I can tell you that you can check Solana Blockchain's altcoins Solana Blockchain is improving day by day.
At the moment I can only highlight 4!!! projects on Solana that actually have utility. These are Magic Eden, Drift Protocol, Tensor and Jupiter. The rest is just an endless printing press of shit-tokens. I think that you need to pay attention to the tokens of L2 chains that have not yet entered the mainnet.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin hidden gems. on: February 13, 2024, 04:25:12 PM
Some persons are still complaining that they don't trust altcoins, how do we intend to make profits from the market if we are only investing in Bitcoin only. I'm not trying to tell us that we are not going to make profits from holding Bitcoin but it might be time consuming. We need to be ready to take risks for us to make money from cryptocurrency. We need to split our investment into different projects so that we can make diversified profits.

If you want the safe route to invest, then you can just simply stick with bitcoins and add some more whenever you have extra money and in that way, you make your investment safety as possible given that you are not using some funds that you cannot afford to lose. when it comes to altcoins investment, you need proper knowledge to choose which altcoins suit your budget especially the newest altcoins in the crypto market. It is not recommended if you were just driven to invest with the current hype of that coin because there are high tendency that you might gonna be a victim of pump and dump coin which is one of the most popular scams in the crypto market nowadays.
When investing in Bitcoin now, you need to have titanium balls. With a limited budget, it will be difficult to make a profit even in the short term, and with such volatility I don’t even think about the long term. Although I am a supporter of Bitcoin. New, but promising, altcoins are more attractive for making quick profits. I would consider purchasing tokens from Wormhole, Starknet and similar projects on OTC. It will be possible to make money on the difference between the OTC market and the CEX/DEX market.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do You trust Tether (USDT) Stablecoin? on: February 12, 2024, 05:00:12 PM
Yes still now i believe USDT coin for trading and holding.
Until the moment when your USDT is blocked by Tether. This only happens in exceptional cases, but the chance is always greater than zero. Of course, USDT is convenient and I use it myself, but storing your money in it has a risk. I am looking towards using USDC, but I also have questions about it.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Zeta Chain - What is Your Opinion ? on: February 12, 2024, 02:53:21 PM
I don't really like it, compare it with Dym, I think Zeta is less popular than Dym.
although I saw coinbase listing zeta but it didn't have much effect because dym is superior in function system to zeta.
and for the airdrop that is being carried out now, I don't think there is any hope of getting zeta in large quantities.
The popularity of Dymension can be explained very simply: they distributed an airdrop with a large coverage of the crypto community, affecting stakers of the Cosmos ecosystem, holders of certain NFT collections and even the EVM network; At the moment, DYM offers income from staking. Zetachain has a lower airdrop distribution, at least in the first phase. For now, the launch of Zetachain can be considered a beta mainnet.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to be cautious: Everyone is not market expert on: February 11, 2024, 05:58:20 PM
Talking yet about Influencers, many of them are not even part or wanting to invest their personal money into such projects but where just paid to carry out promotions making it look worth purchasing to many investors.
I bet many has something to say, those who fell victim of these market Influencers or market experts, we are all humans and can never be perfect when it comes to predictions and assumptions.
That's true, and the job of influencers is to promote or introduce projects to the public. As long as they promote a project honestly it doesn't matter to me, what is a problem is when they deliberately provide fake news to attract the attention of investors. You can't trust them 100% because what deserves to be trusted is your own research.
We need to conscious how we put money on different investment because the market is very volatile except we are in the to hold for a king time and that will depend on the project we are holding. The crypto market can be studied so we can know when to invest and when to take our funds waiting for when next to start investing.

Sometimes I just wonder why many investors and traders are always after looking for signals and how to invest in the cryptocurrency market. There are even influencers that like promoting nee projects whether it's scam or not, they don't care and always want their followers to get the coin or tokens even when they don't have any holdings in such a project.
Most often, they pursue a hidden, but very banal motive - receiving money from the project for advertising. If they are involved in the project, then such promotion takes place using their referral link. Their messages should be taken only as a source of some information and be sure to double-check it.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ERC-404 the New Narrative? on: February 11, 2024, 12:27:50 PM
To be honest this project is interesting with its technology and can be directly related to NFTs with a 1:1 ratio, but it has been confirmed that ERC 404 is an experiment and too dangerous for those of you who like to invest in safer projects, maybe we can say that ERC404 is a new narrative or not but if it is just an experiment it is not a good choice for your investment, but if you are a person who has courage and wants to try your luck on experimental projects the success rate is 50:50, if this experiment is successful it will certainly be a new narrative in this cycle and you will get a very large return, but vice versa, if this project is annulled failed and not accepted by the market then you will lose your money if you invest in experimental projects.
In fact, 1:1 is one of the possible states of the ERC-404. More interesting is the principle of francionalization, in which one NFT is split into a large number of tokens. They tried to use a similar project on Solana - fraktion.art - but, as we can see from the dead site and Twitter, the project failed. But ERC-404 certainly gave impetus to the development of similar projects. SyncSwap yesterday launched a “wrapped” ERC-404 for Libertas Omnibus.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ERC-404 the New Narrative? on: February 10, 2024, 04:18:09 PM
Why not? At their core, only stable tokens should remain in their current form (ERC20/BEP20/TRC20/etc.), so to speak, be impersonal. The remaining tokens may already bear traces of individuality and have additional functions. An apt analogy here is the evolution of the landline phone to the smartphone. Another thing to note is the Smart Layer Network with its Smart Cats (ERC-5169 + xNFT). And therefore, a unified standard for such token-NFTs should be developed.
Encouraging innovation is good but onboarding it via the proper processes is also important. That's why I feel it might pose a risk on etheruem ecosystem atm but once audited and given the nod, I would explore it and also consider buying pandora.
Of course, this is how it should be. For now, the ERC-404 standard is unofficial. In addition, there is an opinion that contracts using ERC-404 (including Pandora) may contain a vulnerability due to which the owners of tokens (parts of the NFT) can “steal” the original NFT.

20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Zeta Chain - What is Your Opinion ? on: February 09, 2024, 02:26:41 PM
It is another interoperable blockchain with primary focus on Ethereum. Is this another Ethereum killer or something else, polkadot came with the same USP, right? Look at their condition as they have lost the hype. If they plan to grow their ecosystem then only they can achieve something like Solana has been able to do recently.

I think its a layer 2 blockchain of eth so it won't be right to call it Ethereum killer as all the eth layer 2 generally serve eth mainnet. It's just their their approach to make eth more scalable. But its true that all the layer 2 of ethereum will not get the market dominance and will eventually die but right now a lot of hype is cooking around them so for now we can not say which one is going to take the layer 2 narrative crown. But it seems gas fees becomes a major factor for all the layer 2 of ETH.
That’s right, L2 chains were originally conceived to unload L1 by means of increase the TPS and reducing the fees. Therefore, L2 are unlikely to die in the direct sense; perhaps they will evolve into the ERC/EIP for the main chain. After all, already in March, the Deneb update should reduce the size of the fees.
