1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shitcoin games in exchanges on: March 31, 2024, 10:46:37 AM
Almost all the exchanges do this for the money that is why they are always quick to list shit coins because they know it's would be an opportunity for them to make fast money. This is why we have seen that Binance is very strict these days increasing the requirements for a token to be listed on there exchange. There are also exchange like OKX that like listing shit coin and later when the coin lost momentum they would delist it after they are not making money from such project.
Because Binance is the top 1 exchange and it was the first to encounter problems with the law and suffered a few billion dollar fine. Smaller exchanges are also trying to make money, but if you can’t do this based on trading volumes and the number of users, then you can try to make money on shitcoins. But most likely in the near future, against the backdrop of pressure from cryptoindustry regulators around the world, there will be a gradual displacement of shitcoins from the CEX.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Notcoin mining on: March 30, 2024, 02:57:23 PM
Way too low profit for the effort needed to make 10m. I assume this is botted to hell and back since there is absolutely no protection against multiple android emulators + autoclickers.

This is also the simplicity of “mining” NOT for farmers with 10+ telegram accounts. Minimal electricity costs and accounts, clickers and emulators are free. And therefore, the profit even from 10M NOT is quite worthy. And I’m not talking about the lucky ones, who were able to earn much more on the first day of the appearance of vouchers and their listing. In some specialized TG/DS channels, “low banks” are happy with a drop of $10-20. I myself was able to clicked 30+M, but I could have done more if I hadn’t bought skins and give more time.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why you need to have spare USDT in this bullrun. on: March 29, 2024, 06:29:54 PM
I personally don't like investing in altcoins, but for those who are into altcoin investment having some USDT is a vital thing you shouldn't miss out because even when you thing you've got the right coins in your portfolio, you might still end up seeing a different thing when the bull begins. There are some coins that even after making your search on coins, you might omit them for some reasons or you might not even got in touch with them, but as they start increasing, that when you start seeing that they are potential coins for investment.
I will also add that stablecoins, in particular USDT, provide greater flexibility in interaction between chains, which cannot be said about banal altcoins. But unfortunately, we still run up against the fees of the chain in which we use the stablecoin.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoins or Fiat? on: March 28, 2024, 07:42:39 PM
When planning to protect yourself against volatile crypto market prices, which type of currency do you prefer? A stablecoin, or a traditional Fiat currency (USD, EUR, JPY, etc)? Why did you make that choice? Would you prefer holding either currency long-term? Or crypto is better for that?

Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley
50% in fiat, 50% in stablecoins on a hot wallet to be able to quickly invest them. The main thing is not to get involved with dubious (sanctioned) exchanges so that later there will be no problems with blocking USDT from Tether, for example. But I would add at least 20% here for high-risk investments, because it’s good to store, but you also need to try to increase your crypto portfolio.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Venom Token Potential Reward For Early TestNet Users - Guide on: March 28, 2024, 07:37:07 PM
Modestly, very modestly. Unfortunately, today I spent the whole day on the road and remotely I was only able to mint the final NFT, but I did not have the opportunity to go to Oasis and sell it. I only saw messages in the telegram channels, at the very beginning of sales, that some NFTs were sold for $200 and $1300. I still hope that the Venom team will distribute at least a minimal drop in tokens and of course that the final NFT will have adequate utility.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Venom Token Potential Reward For Early TestNet Users - Guide on: March 27, 2024, 06:24:05 PM
So far there are no prerequisites for an increase in the value of $VENOM. There are no loud announcements about partnerships, all partnerships are only between ecosystem projects. Only a small volume of tokens entered circulation and all of them are actually circulating on the AMM/MM exchanges on which the listing took place. On Thursday the picture will become a little clearer; hope so.

The price of the coin will strongly depend on how many coins will be unlocked for the testnet participants. I do not know if the tokenomics of the project has been changed, but previously, only 10% of the accrued reward should have been unlocked for the testnet participants. But if the team unlocks the reward completely, then a dump will definitely follow.
The tokenomics that recently appeared on the network looks extremely strange and I have not seen any official confirmation of it. Everything will depend on the number of tokens that will be “drawn” tomorrow. I previously mentioned a thousands coins, but then there was an airdrop for the last task with OKX and it was only ~30 tokens. If we take into account this figure and the possible vesting for testers, it is unlikely that this will greatly affect the cost of $VENOM. In addition, individual projects of the Venom ecosystem will distribute airdrops in their tokens, and not in $VENOM.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Venom Token Potential Reward For Early TestNet Users - Guide on: March 26, 2024, 06:38:35 PM
Contrarily to that, I think that's the main one or part of the main one. I sent in my OKX details two or three days ago and did only six tasks out of the more than 20 tasks but I received a mail from OKX a few minutes ago that my 29.87 Venom was on the way to hitting my wallet. I guess the amount is uniformed for all participants from the screenshots that others have been sharing. The amount is small, given the stress of the numerous tasks therein and how long the testnet lasted. Anyway, let's see if it lists above $1.
Well its not yet the testnet airdrop I believe. I am sure its segregate cause not all testnet have okx or registered on the event. Its not just clear whether the testnet reward is still vested or the team change it to 100% vested seen some screenshot from twitter but I cant verify on the discord. What do you think guys when they will release a drop for this?

We will be able to claim our airdrop in 3 days. And a special page has already been created for this, where we can get for the testnet reward - https://rewards.venom.network/ We can only hope that the price of the coin will not fall during this time, but on the contrary will grow)

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Venom Token Potential Reward For Early TestNet Users - Guide on: March 24, 2024, 01:58:44 PM
~snipped~
If you have not been active in the venov blockchain, then you definitely do not have the right to receive an airdrop. It does not happen that someone receives an airdrop from Venom and does not claim the 19-20 NFT that the participants received during the test period.
Well, I don't know how that will eventually end but I can tell you too that I didn't complete all the testnet activities. I minted about six NFTs and then the whole thing became cumbersome and I stopped. Venom was a project I followed since 2023. I was able to send my OKX UID and the Venom address from that exchange. If the project was restricting those who didn't do all tasks, I'm sure I wouldn't have been able to send those addresses.

I do think maybe they will compensate those who minted something and not reward only those who completed the whole task. By the way, not many people even participated in the testnet.
I minted all the NFTs except the last one - I don’t use OKX, I don’t see the point in trying to do this with such a drop. Judging by the fact that I did not meet the criteria (what?) of the Ventory drop (a project in the Venom ecosystem) and tokenomics (if it is true), then I do not expect anything worthwhile from Venom. Perhaps some projects will distribute a minimum of 1000-10000 tokens, which will cost a couple of cents.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So Solana is 20x up but Ethereum is dying, yet for years ppl shill Eth why? on: March 24, 2024, 09:16:22 AM
Solana is doing well but it is foolish to assume that Ethereum is dying. Ethereum is far bigger than Solana and its ecosystem is bigger than Ethereum itself. It is because of its ecosystem that Ethereum will not die. The reason why Solana is not trending in the crypto world is due to the meme coins that are in its ecosystem and the way it is going it might get known only for meme coins.
I completely agree. We heard a similar bullshit in relation to BTC, now apparently the time has come for FUD for ETH. But time will put everything in its place.
In addition to memcoins, Solana, like EVM-compatible chains, can also boast of successful liquid staking and swaps projects, i.e. doesn't offer anything brilliantly new. Although some projects have recently been launched or relaunched on Solana.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme and Alt Coins investors, how do you treat with your conscience? on: March 23, 2024, 06:14:30 PM
To those that invests on MemeCoins and the disreputable highily weaked volatility AltCoins, how do you treat with your conscience? How peacefully do you get your eyes closed when asleep knowing that they are short term investments that can earn you regreted if you don't sell at the right time which you were opportuned to make profit?

Many people enjoy it and willing to take the risk, thats why we see altcoins ecosystem has more user and transaction than bitcoin right. Just look at the daily transaction of bitcoin and altcoin blockchain combined. In terms of value they can be nothing but in terms users they are massive. They can be short term project but they create the path to build a better product.
This is directly related to the different speed of generating new blocks and the different number of transactions included in a block.
I would compare ordinals/inscriptions on BTC with memcoins on other chains - the lack of real functionality and the focus on making quick profits. But memcoins themselves are more user-friendly for me.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Crypto scammers creating traps to break the system security on: March 23, 2024, 03:30:53 PM
This is extremely alarming the fact that scammers or hackers can now get into legitimate applications and softwares is very bothering we do not know where or what to use anymore in order to avoid these kinds of incidents it is hugely important that we now become extra careful as if we were not careful enough back then because we never know how a hack could be presenting itself

That's the problem, I must say that this attacks comes from the creators of this softwares, though hackers can never be underestimated, I think every system should have a backup in other to get rid of this shits in the system, this one of the reasons why it very difficult to convince some person to invest in crypto, Bitcoin has been seen by its enthusiast that it is the best coin money can buy but there are people doubting this statement because of the happenings in crypto world.
No matter what you use now it no more safe because hackers and scammers are coming up with different means to rip people of their funds, I think something has to done to this effect to avoid further occurrence.
Then you can consider the simplest and most logical method aimed at protecting your crypto and the system as a whole. You start using at least 2 isolated PCs with different OSes and different crypto wallets, different ISPs - one system for work, which will be most susceptible to the negative influence of scammers, and one for storing funds. This is a little expensive, but at the same time it greatly increases the security of your crypto.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum vs Solana on: March 22, 2024, 03:52:57 PM
Solana is now cheaper than ETH, but is already very far from its bottom. From this point of view, it would be more priority to buy SOL as an investment. From an infrastructure point of view, both projects are now very attractive. Although at the moment the ETH is in the FUD against the backdrop of a request from the competent authority (SEC?). But in the future, Solana may also attract attention from regulators, and it is unknown how much this will affect its value.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrops are getting easier to get this year on: March 21, 2024, 05:50:22 PM
Easier? Ok, let's look at the current requirements of different airdrops/retrodrops: standard subscriptions to social networks and regular posts/reposts, staking and locking of certain amounts (in pursuit of TVL), the need to have a certain number of project tokens or a native token of the chain on the balance, replacing a direct airdrop with lotteries and random samples, in the end KYC. I can’t call such a drop “easy” and especially free.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Selling NFTs...Where to start? on: March 20, 2024, 02:29:06 PM
Now you've asked two questions here: how to select the marketplace available. For this you have to consider certain factors like engagement in the marketplace, community building and the volume of trading available. There are some well known platforms like opensea and foundation etc. You can easily choose marketplaces by doing a thorough research on the points mentioned above.

Now the second question is whether you need to choose a polygon or sol network. So it depends upon whether you are price conscious or speed conscious. Sol offers a high speed transaction but at higher fees on the other hand polygon offers low transaction fees but slower transactions compared to sol. So it's your choice.
You said everything correctly - the main thing is not that some collection of NFTs is placed on the market, but that it has a trading volume. I myself use Opensea, but this mainly applies to NFTs in Polygon and BSC chains; for Solana I use Magic Eden. Moreover, MA launched their own crypto wallet and very busy developing the infrastructure around the market.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Memecoins Making people more profitable than Alts on: March 18, 2024, 05:34:12 PM
This is a very subjective opinion. If you are trying to make quick money, then memcoins theoretically provide such an opportunity. I won’t say that the ratio of successful memcoin projects is approximately 1:5, IMHO. You can simply find yourself in a situation - and if we are talking about memcoins and other shitcoins on Solana, then it is almost guaranteed - when you buy this dubious coin after seeing a “green rocket”, and then only a quick fall to 0. Altcoins are different in nature, they were created either as digital shares (tokens), or as a means of payment/incentive within the project, or generally represent the native currency of the chain. I would never compare them in any context.

I won't lie but we know that's what 80% of crypto lovers do here. To make money! Including me, you see this profit I have from this memecoin, I'll rotate it to Any altcoin that haven't started having its peek, when that one does something different too, I take the profit and dump it on BTC. End of my money circulation
In this case, you have chosen the right strategy, although I adhere to more conservative views. Yes, memcoins and their creators do not feel the burden of obligations compared to full-fledged altcoins. "Just for Fun" was created. I tried some tokens on Solana to make quick money - solscan + bonkbot + telegram channels - but I realized that in this case you need more involvement and enthusiasm than I currently have.

Yes, you need more involvement to know what and why these meme coins are created and who they community members are. If not, there are many meme coins you will see as useless just like this particular one that took people by surprise. But the more you engage in their system, the better reason you would have to buy it
For me, my activities in crypto are a side chain to my activities in real life. Take today's situation with $SLERF. I would say that this is what Solana is all about. If something crazy happens (both positive and negative), now it almost always happens only in Solana. And by the way, it turned out funny for $BOME - Binance says that it will tighten the requirements for listing and will list $BOME itself.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which game currently have you glued to your screen. on: March 17, 2024, 08:14:57 AM
I’m currently playing two projects: Tarochi and MagicAlchemy. These projects are interesting to me not only from the point of view of play-to-earn, but gameplay, game mechanics, and implementation. Although each of them brought (or could, if I wanted it) and will bring some kind of profit in the future. At the same time, MA does not even require investments, and so far team have only touched on one part (card game) in a rather large game project. I can also mention Kuroro and their implementation of the brawl mode, but I’m more interested in the story campaign.

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Let's talk about SOL resilience for recent market correction on: March 15, 2024, 04:42:43 PM
Wait for the VC pull out their liquidity to take profit. Simply because there’s still a lot of juices entering on Solana ecosystem until now but it will be another hard crash again if the correction on Bitcoin becomes harsh soon. There’s some project like this in the past which show strength even on bearish market such as Ethereum but suffer hard crash too when the general market turns to bearish.

Due to the recent airdrop opportunity. Solana ecosystem becomes popular again but I’m skeptical that VC will not take profit if the market becomes bearish again.
I am pretty sure another leg down would affect SOL as well, but i don't think it would as harshly as it would to others. And ETH didn''t show much strenght on this drop, so i can't imagine why it would with next leg down.

But right question is, why those SOL VCs haven't pulled it already from here, assuming they did that with every coin and token out there. Airdrops can't be the only reason. There have been successful airdrops in the past for others as well and recent price surge hasn't happened with SOL alone. So are there other reasons why only VC:s in SOL are late to the game?

And i am not sure what you mean with general market being bearish, but this dip was for general (crypto) market (except sol for some reason). So maybe you had other time frame in mind or other than crypto markets

Just today, after a rollback to $160, SOL rise to 180 (at its peak $185). In percentage terms, this is quite significant (12.5%), but in absolute terms, not so much ($20). The same can be said about the opposite situation with a drop in value. Of course, it all depends on how much SOL you have.
Most likely, the large influx of liquidity and, therefore, the cost of SOL was influenced by low fee's in the chain. You can quickly manage your funds with minimal losses (staking/restaking with more favorable conditions or APY). As they say Solana chain for degens, which I mean as a huge number of shitcoins, NFT flipps and airdrops as well.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is BSC (bep20) chain? on: March 14, 2024, 05:46:10 PM
Thanks for all the answers!
Then which chain should I use to store USDT?
For what purpose do you generally want to store funds in cryptocurrency, specifically in USDT? If it is a universal means of payment or a means of purchasing other cryptocurrencies or NFTs, then the BSC network is no worse than others. And when compared with ETH, it’s even better in the context of the size of the fee's; we do not take into account the Dencum update for L2. Swap's and bridge's mechanisms allow you to transfer your USDT between many networks very quickly and at low cost. I myself use BSC (USDT/USDC) and Polygon more often, and Solana a little less often.
