Pulled these estimates from the site that Vosk used in his latest video which I didn't find to informing. https://cryptoage.com/There are some numbers that look like they could do a decent ROI if they ring true and prices hold up. Obviously eth comes in a little higher than their estimates. MTP seems to have taken a big drop recently. well they are not great. https://videocardz.com/newz/nvidia-geforce-rtx-3080-ethereum-daggerhashimoto-mining-performance... NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Memory OC by WhyCry Facebook Twitter Reddit ... not impressive I bolded the sane settings and the gear is power hungry it does not look as good as amd 5600 xt. 2 cards of amd will do 80mh at 180 watts no miner software optimization is not done yet, not going to rule them out yet for eth mining. considering other algos 3080 might be really worth it. besides amd cards were the original eth miners.

AMD fanboys are feeling the heat like this sxemini dude. going around altcoin mining section on nvidia rampage posts heheheh troll posting people talking good about nvidia cards. well if you look at his post history owns rx 480 and rx 580. now he possibly owns 5700xt amd's cutting edge new gpu technology that hashes ~50mhs, only to find out that 1080ti a circa 2017 gpu can do 50mhs LOL so he wants the new 30xx series of nvidia to do just around 65mhs hehe dude if a typhoon is coming to destroy your flimsy house, don't hate the guy that is talking that the typhoon is strong... P.S. i forgot, you don't understand analogies. you have a comprehension problem.

3070 is garbage.
In my entire life, I have never seen a weaker xx70 to date than any previous generations. I really dont understand why they decided to release it later than 3090 or 3080, 3070 is not threat at all to them, actually if I was nvidia I would release the 3090 then 3070 then 3080 for last. this could be a hint to all of us. bad news for amd fans 3070 last (around same time of big navi release) because maybe that's where the performance of big navi...around the performance of 3070. yes 5700xt can hash 50+mhs for eth, maybe big navi can do 70mhs, but nvidia and amd didn't make cards for eth, its all about gaming. gaming performance of 3070 gddr6 and big navi (gddr6 too), so this is the fighting range. there is a leak about 3070ti using 16gb, big navi is rumored to be 12gb and 16gb. 3070ti at 16gb will finish the fight with amd. maybe marketing knows $500 budget is where majority of gamers are. why a hint? a hint that maybe the game is over, if you want to have the best tech but afraid to spend $1500 for 3090 then 3080 for you at $700....but a few months to a year when 10gb is not enough for your needs, you buy 3080ti with 16gb or 20gb gddr6x for 900$ LOL

Just checked the tech spec sheet on navi 21 the next amd iteration of their rx6000 lineup and it states it will have 12gb of ram onboard. Yet this leak has 16gb labelled on the card itself. So this might be the testing for the next navi they could be releasing after 3090rtx is dropped after September 24th potential release date? Or could be just like what nvidia is doing with the 3000 line releasing 3080 with 10gb and 3090 24gb.
yup. maybe the "12gb is gddr6" and the "16gb is gddr6 with cache".......no hbm2e yet. high chance amd cards will under perform nvidia, and will try to compete with pricing.

comparing to 4gb cards: 5700/xt is x2 hashrate 3080 is x3 to x4 hashrate don't forget the 1080ti miners that will 2x hash rate by upgrading or just plainly adding 3080 to their farms. so let's assume that new cards that will mine (x2.5 to x3 hash rate at average). it takes just 1 new card to replace 2.5 to 3 old 4gb cards. another thing is electricity, people are getting more hash per watt with newer tech, i think profits will go down if you don't upgrade. if ETH go down in price then we all scratch our heads LOL

still like this coin/project but the lack of updates and any price action/chance at new exchanges is very disconcerning. i feel this is another one where the 'it's all about the tech' is good/taking over but .... that's all it is. trading wise it's gone to shit. It's really hard talking to big exchanges or making deals with them this is why in investing it also requires looking at the "team" handling the coin. tech wise........ https://bismuth.cz/roadmap/ the road already ended. They didn't paid the team members for their work & contribution to the coin, and you want them to pay for exchanges?!. They got their shit done and pissed on the rest, this is why all left. Greedy liars . i knew something is off with the dev's head when he is asking me to secure a deal for exchange listing LOL i bet those 2 devs left are the one's who is dumping behind everyone's back hehe

Eth is not meant to be a mode of payment. It is basically a smart contract platform currency. High gas fee is not any hinderence in its growth
I completely agree, but which project now fits the payment criteria? This maikelblogo piece of shit, has a malware link sig. Enticing miners to try to boost mining hashrate but the reality is, you get malware.

I have a quick look at filecoin mining, i read that nvidia is the go to card for mining (gpu is only part of the system that will mine).
also gpu need not be very powerful but not the low end kinds, there is high chances that 1080ti will do the job just about right.
if 1080ti can still make profits for you maybe keeping some is a good idea while waiting for filecoin main net.

take that in mind that the whitepaper foot references will be updated every now and then as per the used technologies(AI, Deep learning, Machine learning) are a never ending research to begin with.
From what i could see, your whole whitepaper was basically copied from other sources. No original work, studies, tests, nothing. You just copied bunch of charts, made website and announced token sale. And in order to attract people, you are using names of well known exchanges and promising listing there. No serious project would do that and what;s even more important, top exchanges usually ask for NDA. Beside copied content, big red flag for me is the fact that team is anonymous. Sure, that is your right, but here you are asking from people to invest in your project their hard earned money, and promising some stuff that are not easy to deliver. It would be fair to reveal the identity so we can check actual competence of that team. LOL exchanges (which they listed on the announcement) are KYC-ing their customers while this team want to be anonymous hehehe

I'd probably sell the 1080, 1070's and 1070 ti's to start and look at getting 23 5600 xt's for $270 each or 18 5700's for $350 each. Possibly 8 3080 if you want to mine non eth algo's.
3080.. remember free power, 100mhs ETH is very good.. when near full capacity, then start looking for more efficiency or higher hash rate algo coins. 1080 and below, sell ASAP, they are dead when 3080 hits the market. I would hesitate from buying 1 year old cards that will be outclassed by cards that will come out next month LOL 3080 vs big navi.. big navi a bit better at efficiency or big navi better at pricing, the profit for using the cards 1 month early justify the "price difference"?..if yes then buy nvidia.

I'm thinking of selling my now 2 gen old GPUs. I checked sold listing on eBay as of yesterday and averaged the selling prices for the last few days.
It looks like the going rates are better than I thought. (I would never pay the below prices myself) Here's a breakdown of what I have that combined does around 2,100 MH/s on ETH:
25 1080Ti @ $380 = $9,500 1 1080 @ $300 = $300 14 1070Ti @ $260 = $3,640 16 1070 @ $194 = $3,104
So a grand total of $16,544 less eBay 10% = $14,890. But a more realistic net is probably around $10k
2,100 MH/s is about 23 3080 GPUs (assuming 90 MH/s) @ $699 = $16,077
My current mix of 1000 series cards consume right around 8,000 watts
23 3080's would drop that almost in half to 4,600 watts (assuming 200 watts per GPU)
I guess another option would be to pickup 40 5700s @ $350 = $14,000
The 5700s would consume 5,200 watts (assuming 130 watts per GPU)
My power is essentially free since I have 50kW worth of solar panels that produce enough kWh to keep the mining rigs running 24/7.
Dump my 1000 series cards while they still have some value, or just keep mining with them until they die? What would you do?
free power means you need to have the highest hashrate as possible. x2 of your current hash rate is x2 profit the earlier you start mining with newer cards the earlier they ROI. keep them (old cards) running while adding newer cards, as you reach the maximum electrical capacity sell the older cards- preferably during ETH pumps like if it pumps to 500, buyers will appear hehe. will not recommend cards since 3080 is not out yet and we have not seen more info about it. besides running those many gpus i believe you already have an insight for your next ideal setup.
