After first start i get this error. "Cryptonight hash self-test failed. This might be caused by bad compiler optimizations."
whats wrong?
5vega rig, working fine with 2.5 until now, do i need to change smth?
could be an issue with a system overclock; those test functions do work and haven't changed since day one.... They pass on my machines. could be you need to get your amd.txt from v 2.7.x/2.8.x, and copy the optimizations to the new amd.txt generated by 2.9.0; so be sure you didnt copy your old .txt files; you need to edit the new ones. I had to let mine redo the nvidia and amd txt more than once for some reason. My test rig: B250D8P I3-6100 8Gb GTX 1070, GTX 650Ti, RX560 I did update my video drivers to the current version for Nvidia because of the security bug that was found; and I left my AMD blockchain drivers alone as its been since I installed the RX560. Ill zip up and upload the whole folder including my configurations directly from that miner; and post a link in a minute. You can see if its any different for you. I do suggest updating the nvidia drivers though; the security bug is a real threat; as well as I think needing the updated driver is a reality (I did compile under CUDA 10) I installed new cuda and affined the threads to one cpu-core, working now. Thx for the tip and your work

same problem with 5x vega 64 runing hiveos and teamredminer v3.8 with 2% rejected shares in nicehash, nanopool, and all of grft mining pools.how can I set diff manually in hiveos?
dont you add difficulty behind the wallet adress with a .(dot) ? like walletadressxyz1234.40000 for a 40000 difficulty?

Hey guys whats your intensity setting with stak2.5.+ in amd.txt for cn_heavy on 64/56? im only getting ~1300h/s per card with intensity at 896 { "index" : 0, "intensity" : 896, "worksize" : 8, "affine_to_cpu" : 0, "strided_index" : 2, "mem_chunk" : 2, "unroll" : 8, "comp_mode" : true },
Im reading that people do nearly 1500h/s per card on v8 i use 1984 intensity and do you use something else for cn_fast/lite? Thx in advance for any answers.

walpool.com - scam, dont mine here !!!

not PAY!
although the difficulty has gone crazy with the pumped price - if you still want to mine HAVEN I recommend haven.miner.rocks - I mined there for 12 hours and got paid, but since everyone else seems to be mining it too I went back to mining Loki. I like the idea behind Haven Protocol, but there are too many big questions so far unanswered about the workability of it's economics. If you are just mining to dump for BTC then sure, but I mine to HODL. Please do not go mine on haven.miner.rocks. It's got 85% of total network hashpower! It's just awful in terms of decentralisation. Please choose another. I'm personally on cryptoknight.cc. Never had problems with them. Works perfectly well. Please spread the hash. Spreading the Hash is a good thing but my miners never get the estimated coins shown on Cryptoknight and there are often issues with delayed payments etc. Even when the majority of the Hashrate from a coin is at cryptoknight the calculations fail. Their biggest advantage is to have "all" the crap coins united under a 0% fee Miner.rocks you get what you shown or even better and yes im aware that a smaller pool is more effected by pool luck.

on cryptonight: 56īs 1800-2000h/s 64īs 1900-2100h/s
64īs draw a bit more power(+5%), most important thing is to get cards with good cooling(more then one fan). ofc u want samsung memory. You could biosflash your 56 to a 64 if u want. For a faster Roi i would suggest 56 and for long term max profit the 64s. For cryptonight heavy coins FE is bestbuy atm

Maybe you should check this guide http://vega.miningguides.com/75 for hbm is to hot imo

This allready looks good. Keep up the good work and the good communication. Looking forward to get more and MOAR out of my vegas Thx for implementing differenet pp tables on each card individually that fast.

i like this one Our investigation into the mining equipment strongly suggests to us that the total manufacturing cost of the equipment is less than $1,000, meaning that anyone who paid $10,000 for it was paying a massive profit premium to the manufacturer, giving them the ability to make 9 more units for themselves.
You could say Asics buyer are the Fanboys of this companies

What makes you think I have crossfire enabled? the driver tries to activate Crossfire automatically after installation, therefore you should deactivate it after driver installation. from vegaminingguides TURN OFF AMD CROSSFIRE DETECTION
Whenever Windows starts the AMD driver tries to detect other Vega cards to establish "crossfire". We don't want crossfire and even searching for it is not good for driver stability. We also don't want it polling to see about power states when your mining. Here are manual steps to disable "EnableUlps" and "EnableCrossFireAutoLink" (take note of the Vega registry ID numbers as we will need them again later) Windows Start key --> "regedit" Be careful to only change entries that this guide says to change, you can mess up your computer with this program. Navigate to the proper directory by either drilling down per the photo below (easier) or you can search and let Windows find it via: Select Edit --> Find (Ctrl-F) Type "EnableUlps" and select the 'Find Next' button (case sensitive) It may take a long time to search... let it work The search windows will eventually go away having driven down into your registry and selected a field "EnableUlps" with a value of 1 (true) - click to expand pic if needed.

It is possible of course.
You can always check google for benchmarks to calculate the outcome.
like "monero benchmark" "anycoin benchmark" "gtx 260 monero benchmark"
Keep in mind that as soon as an "Altcoin" gets attention that more people will mine it and difficulty will rise and your profitabilty will lower!
for example watch the difficulty graph for the last 6-12months of your favoured coins
