About being listed on europex and c-cex, thats not the end of the world. In fact it might be best to not be listed on any exchanges at all after the giveaway to prevent insta-dumping.

That's a good point!

I think we should only choose one "home" exchange and promote this place for trading. That will concentrate the volume there. Any other exchanges might add us or might not do so.

I tried to mine this coin and found 2 blocks: Block reward: 0,009875

That's not worth mining at all ...

Do I do something wrong or is it just bad luck to get this small amount of coins for a block?

It's broken, see two posts up.

ups didn't see this post! thanks ! I watch out for the fix ...

interesting idea.
987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore XPM GPU Miner discussion on: May 31, 2014, 10:02:36 AM
I guess it's due to GPU mining XPM. It's "easy" to get XPM now, a lot of miners dump their coins and buy BTC or cashout to fiat. And ther's not enough buying interest.

I dont like the idea of giving the dumpers more coins to dump, which we already has done with PMC.
Do you think the dumpers wont dump, if the amount is small? Its all with the mind-set and those who are after quick money will always dump as every little helps to achieve their short term goal.

The problem are not the dumpers the problem is to have more buyers than dumpers!

I havent seen much interest in this coin recently, when the prices has plummetted - so dont expect lot of people to buy this coin from dumpers at cheap prices.

If a portion of PMC+ is only available for PMC and PMC+ is really interesting for people, a lot of people would try to get PMC to trade them for PMC+ then. OK I know we don't want stake holders with too large amounts of the new coin. There has to be away to manage that somehow.

And for the name, 'premine' kind of has a stigma associated with the term in crypto community and I would try to move away from it, if we can.
Every newbie who comes to the crypto community, will soon find out / or given advise to avoid all premine coins as most of them are scams.
If we stick with the premine term, most of the new people will  ignore this coin, just because of the name I am afraid.
Even though we are doing justice to our coin with the name, not everyone will look into the details of every coin as there are tonnes of them out there now.

Thats my 2 patoshis. Wink

instead of "premine" the new coin PMC+ could be "PremiumCoin+" I read a suggestion with "premium" some pages backwards.

Thoughts on how PMC-Holders can transfer their PMC to PMC+. Did anyone make a decision about that?

besides the 1:1 exchange I think of a kind of "step-model" for current PMC holders:

exchange 1:1 for PMC amount up to 1000 PMC
exchange 2:1 for PMC amount from 1001 - 5000 PMC
exchange 3:1 for PMC amount from 5001 - xxxx PMC

This way holders of small amounts have 100% coins exchanged to PMC+ while big holders get a little less PMC+. And we have more left to be distributed or for POS rewards.

any ideas/suggestions for this?

I have a R9 280x, 270x and 270 in one rig. Do you think it is worth it to solo mine.

Right now from mining on Ypool my max diff is at 10.992598 and the 10ch is 20 with 47 hours of mining.

Ypool says I only found 1 block in this time period. And I have a total of 9 coins with them.

It's difficult to say because finding blocks depends on luck. There are days when you find a lot of blocks and several days when you find nothing.

For solomining it is absolutely necessary to have a good connection to as many nodes as you can get with your wallet. otherwise your blocks may be orphaned easily.

Could everyone stop with all the "we need to ... " and instead start doing that?

yes we have to move forward to PMC2. How can POS work when there is only a limited number of coins?
994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PMC] Premine Coin | Rare | Mining Transaction Fee Proof of Concept on: May 28, 2014, 10:25:31 AM

Yeah, bit disappointing. Let's hope my miners do not break down then...

Also, it's still not paying anything. I just check, and I mined 42318 blocks last month (yes, over 42 thousand blocks). It paid 1.4PMC in transaction fees, of which 1PMC is from a single transaction. So 0.4PMC in 42317 blocks. So, currently, I am spending around $20 montly to keep the network up, with no return whatsoever...

That's very bad. I guess the 1st problem about fees was and still is that they are not mandatory in the wallet integrated. And in the past weeks the number of transactions lowered.

My Wallet stopp synchronizing at block 170886. Wallet is back since 27h ....
looks like there are no block generated at all any more?

I had a power outage at my home, and somehow had some trouble getting my miners up and running again after that.

Seems like I am the only one still mining PMC?

Yeah looks like that you are the only one mining PMC. My wallets are synced now.

I don't have any asic miner to join mining Sad

@kbroadfoot: since you are apparently the new dev, could you maybe try to persuade poloniex to cancel the delisting?

Yeah right... new DEV...  however I AM GONNA TRY to convince Busoni to keep us around for a bit...

PMC leaded the way for Hashcows to use them as a payout method... opening the door for XBC and others listed there...
We deserve a little credit...

Also PMC is cheap as hell @ Poloniex....  buy buy buy!

burning good money  Grin if there really was buying pressure the price would go up. when everyone bought cheap PMC and there is nobody there to sell any more and nobody is there to pay higher prices the price stays low  Grin

Thanks for that delisting info!

There is one question: Why should a coin be worth something at all? Only because it's rare? Why should the price for a coin be higher? It's sad to say but I have doubts if this coin ever reaches 1$ again. I will wait and see .... Smiley

are there any other market places now where PMC can still be traded?
