1  Other / Beginners & Help / Bitcoin Powered Solar Interent Balloon on: December 02, 2013, 05:43:16 AM
Hello, I'm new here to the forums and to BTC. I own a wireless internet company (which accepts BTC) in Missouri, USA it is very small company with only 2 employees, myself and my girlfriend. I would like to provide internet to people who live in rural areas everywhere (a huge market that the big companies overlook). There are a lot of people where I live that only have access to satellite internet and dial-up, which are terrible. I'm sure there are areas like this between every city all across the USA that need help. These people need to know all the web has to offer them, which is only available with a high-speed connection. I want to provide these people with internet using my system based on the principles of Google's Project Loon, but I'm lacking funds for equipment (solar panels, charging controllers, fiber optic cable, etc).  My system is completely green and utilizes solar and/or wind power for each balloon access point. I have the expertise, passion, and a great team and I totally believe that with a little BTC I can get internet to thousands of homes that would otherwise not have it! This is a great opportunity for you to expand the BTC economy and help people get access to the information on the world wide web.

I am launching a website this week to document the progress of this project, due to being a new user here I cannot post a link yet. Although I will post one as soon as I am allowed to.

Donations of BTC would be greatly appreciated and get this project off the ground.
