1  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tips for newbies, who want to avoid over-quoting on: February 15, 2019, 11:08:04 AM
I did see a pyramid quoting and it doesn't look good at all.
2  Other / Meta / Re: Please,unlock my full member account. on: December 25, 2018, 08:52:46 AM
I used this address my old posts. You can see this in my old posts.
Signed message is verified.I'm waiting for help.
That's all you can do for now. It seems there are lots of people requesting helpnfor their account problems. Even though you have strong proof it won't be processed right away as I have mention earlier about the people who had the same problem as you.
3  Other / Meta / Re: This Airdrop thread deserved to be deleted on: December 04, 2018, 04:00:28 PM
A minimum requirement of Jr member or copper member to enable anyone start a thread in the bounty section could help reduce the number of spam and fake ANN threads, as this would reduce the ease of users simply creating accounts and making such threads.

And maybe if a profile gets their post reported multiple times in that section, they could be temporarily restricted from posting, automatically before a moderator even gets to access the situation.
It may work like what you think and it might not work. Even though it's restricted from newbies and only jr. members and above who can post thread is another idea as they can send 1 merit to their new account and become jr. member later on.
4  Other / Meta / Re: Why are FUD-trolls allowed to open 4 topics per day? on: December 04, 2018, 03:53:54 PM
It might be that person want someone to drag with him by creating a fuss about FUD with the current situation of the market at this time. Well most people like him will lose confidence in crypto and can't also think positively.
5  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto is not friendly to beginners. on: December 04, 2018, 03:49:13 PM
I don’t think it’s about the beginners. First, it’s the perception of information given in the media, unsupported by actual knowledge of a person listening. Secondly, why should you be motivating your colleges to work with crypto? When a person is interested, he starts asking questions, looking for a potential growth, gaining knowledge and coping with whatever unfriendly interfaces there seem to be. Nothing is given for granted and no revenue comes easy. But, never try to impose your own beliefs on other people
You think so too?, well you are right that it's not about beginners. Beginners can learn too and become an experts with the help of experts and search in internet. I guess that's one of the reason why crypto is not friendly to beginners because of the media especially those people who post to the media and said something megative about the crypto that will make the beginners not interested. Fake news and more will bring negativeness in crypto and some may think it's not beginners friendly but it's not.

Reinstalling OS is the best solution. After you reinstall your Operating System whether if it is windows 7 8 9 or 10  you should have a partition of your hard disk local disk C for the files of OS and other partition for applications and third is for files you have to keep. Use Deep Freeze in your OS to avoid your OS to be corrupted by any malware there is.
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why some of the cryptocurrency tokens don’t have a price for a long time? on: November 24, 2018, 08:38:12 PM
1. ) Tokens don't have real value even though it's base on Ethereum or called Erc-20 Tokens
2.) It's a scam because it is used only for taking other people's "MONEY" or failed ICO. Some ICOs are successful.
3.) The Tokens project's goal is not useful or not needed in crypto space so it won't survive long or lose it's value from time to time.
4.) It is not on an exchange yet but you can sell it in exchange but don't think that someone would buy it unless he/she know what token are you selling.
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New Telegram Scam: be aware of Malware files! on: November 24, 2018, 08:30:30 PM
That means everywhere that involved cryptocurrency is not safe or you can't trust anyone that you didn't known or met in personal. Some sites that has escrow or called as mid-man that will be taking care of a trade from both parties that are trading scammed both the seller and buyer. Trust Yourself, Trust No one until it's proven safe.
9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Massive thread quotation can create an eye sore on: November 24, 2018, 08:23:45 PM
Let's look at the bright side, whole point to the OP is quoting whole message is not a good habit to do as it only add the same message on another replies with the same content.

it's bad bad habit to quote original post. People who read that topic already saw first message, we don't have to repeat it with a full quote. But it's nothing wrong if you want to answer to specific part of message and you quote relevant part of message.
I agree with LTU_btc that you only quote a part of the message to reply and make it short like <....> if it is too long to make it more clean or less annoying. I'm sure that it will take more time to read someone's reply if there's lots of quoted replies that has long message in it.
10  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Just download and install an electrum wallet on: November 15, 2018, 03:29:36 PM
Some of the questions I do not know the answer, but the answer to 3rd question: Yes, this is allowed by the rules and system
Yes, only you can decide whether to use one address or more than one address. As they stated there are practices when using different address that is connected to your address. Using address more than once can be easily track as you only use one address for different transactions. As experts practices they will use one address once or twice but mostly once.
11  Other / Meta / Re: If merit is like A lottery jackpot then it could be so hard to acquire! on: November 11, 2018, 07:23:17 PM
not sure about not being an active seeker of knowledge but there are several factors that prevent good posts getting extra merit they deserve if compared to posts made in the right place at the right time by the right person.
Yes, you're right some person post good quality thread but not getting merit at all. I don't find any reason why a forum user not merited even though he/she did contribute in the forum.
12  Other / Meta / Re: Old topics not discussed on: November 11, 2018, 06:42:20 PM
if the thread is locked then there will be more pages to add in that page count. We can't stop people from creating threads that are discussed already but they still create the thread and k0er is right there is no rule that stated if the topic is not active already it is needed to be locked.

Those threads are not getting locked for avoiding repetitive threads and you have done that one exactly. If those threads get locked, one has to create new thread for discussing on a specific topics.
I agree with this.
13  Other / Meta / Re: I've been looking at the posters in some old threads on: November 11, 2018, 06:32:53 PM
This is a good idea, the forum users who stopped posting in 2016 might return to bitcointalk and many more will join. I think there are more people who's not in crypto yet. Mentioning bitcointalk forum is like promoting bitcointalk to another sites.
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Decentralized exchanges on: November 11, 2018, 06:24:14 PM
Both centralized exchange and decentralized exchange are both can be attack I think. As we know the centralized had a cloud to store information while decentralized is not. Which of the two is the most vulnerable from attacks?
15  Other / Meta / Re: My thread was just locked for no reasons on: November 09, 2018, 07:56:11 PM
Hey @OP, did you try unlocking your thread? If try unlocking the thread then there will be a message that the thread is locked by moderator so there's nothing you can do to unlock it unless you ask the mod who lock your thread.

I think this is a copy paste:
Profile Link:

This user is also red trusted by marlboroza for fake team and fake ICO.
I could have searched the original since this user provide the copy pasted information and the original link so I just quoted the fake and the original.

18  Other / Meta / Re: JR Member need 1 merit on: September 17, 2018, 10:24:49 AM
Agree with you I am new here and trying to get at least one merit but didn't understand how will I get the same.
You don't have to earn merit in here instead you contribute here by posting constructive, high or good quality post and someone will give you merit because you contributing and not complaining that you didn't receive any merit.
19  Other / Meta / Re: Merit for Jr.Member, a rational thing and also an unfair thing on: September 17, 2018, 10:08:03 AM
It is unfair but this is for the forum to reduce spam or shitpost. About the merits flowing in the forum theymos did add more merit sources so it shouldn't be a problem with the demand of merits for worthy members in the forum.
20  Other / Meta / Re: Enhanced newbie restrictions & requirements on: September 17, 2018, 09:49:02 AM
I have an idea.
For member Jr.member without merit will be transferred to Newbie -> I agree.
But there will be other ways to find merit
For example: exchange Activity to merit?
Such as: 200 or 300 Activity = 1 merit.
Please ignore if you feel it is unreasonable.

You agree that jr. members without merit and will be demoted to newbie but you said there will be other ways to earn merit by exchanging activity for merit, i'm sure that will result to SPAM FLOOD, do you know you? Newbies and former jr. members won't earn merit through posting good quality or merit worthy because they can exchange activity for merit. So, merit implentation will be useless and fir nothing. Your Idea is not for the forum, I know you might dislike my opinion but it's the truth.
