681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone have problem withdraw USD from Kraken ? on: April 27, 2017, 05:38:03 AM

682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CUDA Miners - What is the most mined coin using the Green Teams Hardware on: April 27, 2017, 05:34:30 AM
I have recently started writing miners and I am having some success.  I have partnered up with another guy that writes incredible code.  I have been working on a New AMD miner for ZEC for a couple of months and hopefully we will be able to release it soon.

In the meantime I want to take a crack at something for the "other" cards (The Green Team aka Nvidia). Grin I was wondering what is the most mined coin with Nvidia hardware and/or what coin is not represented well or at all for Nvidia hardware.

Thanks

You will making so much money beyond your imagination soon by spending a few more months locking yourself up and just coding the best miner. In crypto world everyone is insane
683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't fall for "smart contract" platforms. on: April 27, 2017, 05:19:41 AM
what is actually smart contract means ?

It is a control and release mechanism, any coin can do this, example bitbay already able to code this in his working wallet, but this scam etheriuem hype is beyond control, probably because of that billionaire guy and polionex.
684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't fall for "smart contract" platforms. on: April 27, 2017, 05:13:31 AM
"Smart Contracts" will never amount to anything. It's just a phrase people throw around to create excitement to pump up the value of worthless coins. It's all pie in the sky. When people finally come out of the "ether", 'pun intended,' they will realize it was all smoke and mirrors.

FUCK, really? how can we tell microsoft, jp morgan, intel, tesla, netflix, tesco, uber, sirius xm, viacom, and apple...?

How can you tell IBM, R3 or the DAO using etherium and now abundant or just f@ck up with it and hundred of millions being wasted? chance the employees of companies above being paid by this guy,

He invested tens and hundreds of millions in this scam etherium at around $1. Just imagine when he old or sick and decide to dump, it would be worth nothing.

it is true, and the smart con tract is created by Nick Szabo, Google Nick Szabo but got scam by butterin.
686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gnosis. Greedy developers on: April 26, 2017, 09:11:13 AM
The developers of Gnosis are being way too greedy.
They could end up with $12.5m and also own more than 50% od the coins as well.

Gnosis is an open source blockchain project, not a private company.

They can't make it closed source, yet they act as though it is. They need us to secure the network. We don't need them.

https://www.reddit.com/r/ethtrader/comments/64ch1j/gnosis_crowdsale_price/?sort=top

insta fake ICO, this way it creating hype and FOMO, it also got much chance of getting lists with exchanges. this is the birth of insta ICO, cosmos, gnosis...
687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is etherium a complementary process built on top of bitcoin? on: April 26, 2017, 07:55:54 AM
No, it is not. They are 2 different projects. To get an ideea about what ethereum is, try to compare the invention of the wheel ( bitcoin ) with quantum computers ( ethereum ).

If we want too use a silly analogy to explain the differences a better one might be comparing two cars. One is a basic model with very few bells and whistles; but, has the best safety rating of any vehicle on the road. The other comes with more options, it has intermittent wipers, a radio and air conditioning; but, it has the lowest safety rating on the road and has been involved in so many accidents it constantly needs to be rebuilt.

this is the best explain between bitcoin and etherium.
also the car with more options advertising they're the best, the safest, the stronger one but in reality nothing but false advertisement.
688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: INSTA ICO is the new INSTAMINE. How many are there now pulling this???????????? on: April 26, 2017, 07:29:06 AM
this is true, inta ICO is nothing but FOMO for exchange on release. even if this insta ICO is true, only a few people have it,  just another simular bobsurplus way of scam.
689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Breakoutcoin poker , win free coins. on: April 26, 2017, 02:46:54 AM
this breakcoin scam crap is so confusing, what is a brocoin, siscoin, card, stack, brk... to top it all this thing run by a serial scammer james stroud. even endorsement from tiger wood it wouldn't help, no smart person would trust a scammer in this crypto world because we have learned so much. ask this scammer to finish stealthcoin first, or any of more than a dozen scam coins and proved his name.

By that same logic anything you say is to be completely ignored because of all the nonsense and lies you have said. Your word and reputation on this site cannot be trusted .

believe whatever you want but no reason for me to lie to you, i could make nothing out of you. instead what i see is you trying to lies and cry to people to bagholding your crap. this James Stroud aka hondo guy and his team are well known scammer around here.

what this guy do is copy/paste code from other coins, also pay people to code for him. this guy can't code for jack. this is a crook assistant professor,  nothing in his life is worth to be associated with.
690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trusted Coin Creator on: April 26, 2017, 02:35:46 AM
you will fined it hard to get a good honest coin creator that will do a good job ( i have been looking for someone to fix an existing coins but no luck yet )

don't buy any coin with self-moderated OP with unknown dev, he could abandoned the project any time with no chance of looking back, people like you and me lose lot of money with disbelief and looking for hope if there will be dumb bagholder going to replace us. with known dev this would be less likely because his reputation is on the line and it would be hard for him to create another scam, this don't mean he wouldn't abandoned this project but it would dragging longer.
691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trusted Coin Creator on: April 26, 2017, 02:26:47 AM
So, say you have an idea for a coin.  And it's actually something different and more importantly, useful to everyone, not just miners.  It's not another memecoin or ElectroCoin "The coin that will support electronics" or whatever the new coin is.  You believe it will bring something different to cyptocurrency.  People will be able to use it daily and see firsthand how it benefits them.  But the problem is, you just have an idea.  You have minimal skills.  Who would you trust to help you out making your idea come to life?

I know this is a pretty vague and open question, but I know some of you out there have been following this for a while so you know who actually brings honesty and integrity to a coin.  I have a great idea, but I need help.  Not too much, but I need help.

Thanks.

this is the reason we have so much scam coins, a person have idea but don't know if this even work or able to code.
692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum going Casper - Ice Age incoming on: April 23, 2017, 06:58:46 AM
buterin is a little alien looking scammer freak, stole Nick Szabo smart contracts idea and paid people to code for him, the resolved is broken network which could be hack and attack which need to fork almost every month, this crook pocketing tens or even hundreds of millions.
my take on this scam etheriuem that it will died when it turn to POS, or what this freak call it casper.

Wasn't Gavin Wood the real brains behind Ethereum?  I mean he wrote the yellow paper and all the technical stuff and all, right?  But he was kicked out of the project, not sure if that's true tho.  But I heard he was.

Maybe it's time for Gavin to give a lending hand to ETC.  That would surely shake things a bit.  Smiley

yes, i guessed so.
http://gavwood.com

he's not even interest in bitcoin or crytocurrency until late 2014. he's pretty much behind ethereuim smart contracts paid by ico money, which took idea from Nick Szabo smart contracts concept;
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nick_Szabo

ethereium coding and network pretty much depend on this guy which seem to have no clue, the reason it's easy to attack, broken and need to be patch often.
again and again, i just don't understand why banksters keep bank rolling this guy fail after fail.
i guessed etherium is pretty much own by this guy;
http://money.cnn.com/2017/04/20/investing/mike-novogratz-bets-big-on-bitcoin-ether-blockchain/index.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+rss%2Fmoney_latest+%28CNNMoney%3A+Latest+News%29

he got much of eth in $1 ranges and pump after pump when it drop
it's going to be bloodbath when he's decided enough is enough

the story of etherum is pretty much base on this homeless buterin kid seeing Nick Szabo smart contracts concept then go to bitcoin events after events to spread this smart contracts idea, then when he have ico money he then paid Gavin to code for it.

there are so many big companies blinded and have no clue about this, after seeing this and after seeing americans vote trump for president, i have lost hope for smart and decent people to be exist.

Well there is NXT that does tokens as well.

KMD Dex will use atomic swaps and not IOUs  Wink

It is hard for me to take Komodo seriously, or more specifically jl7777.

He has started about 100 crypto projects, all of which he asked for and received funding, and he never seems to finish any of them.

https://nxtforum.org/nxtventures/

Is like a graveyard of failed projects...

Bitcoindark
Supernet
InstantDEX
NxtCoinsco
Pangea
NxtPrivacy
PrivateBet
ATOMIC
Skynet
NeoDice
Omnigames

I am probably missing a few too... Were any of these actually completed as advertised? Some were completed to the point of being barely functional, but I wouldn't really count that as truly following through and protecting his investor's best interests. If history tells us anything, then Komodo will be much of the same.

lol. i told them so, this jl77777 serial scammer make millions out of dumb people. most or all his projects are done by hiring people cheap from freelancer, these people are not crypto coder. i once said komodo logo and site is done by little 5 year old girl who just learn how to do photoshop, i still stand by this comment. he said they spend $10,000 on the logo. lol.

Szabo mentioned a hack on US financial institution JP Morgan which is currently in the news, and which allegedly earned the perpetrators more than $US100 million (£66 million), as a modern example of the dangers centralisation poses. Cryptography — “and in particular Ethereum” — helps solve that.

HILARIOUS  Cheesy

That quote is priceless.. can you say roooooooooooooooooooooll back BUTTERS ?  Grin

Each Legend Token is a fractional piece of a Legends Room membership. 5000 tokens are required to use a membership at the Legends Room. A membership confers the following benefits

Entrance to the Legends Room club
50% discount on all club services except for gaming

Cool! Except where is it?  What is it? Why is it already listed for ICO before an ANN is even posted?

...each token will be worth 0.00087000 BTC

Hilarious, where did this price even come from?  And how do tokens even represent being a member of a club?  You lose your membership once you run outta tokens?  What kind of environment does this promote?

Hey Guys,

I just joined the ARK and have now a considerable amount of ARK at hand

Can someone ELI5 how do put my ARK to work?
I want to get them off the exchange and vote for some delegate, however have absolutely no clue how to do this and how to choose the delegate.

It would be very nice if you could point me to some sources that explain me the process or shortly explain it hereon.

Beste regards!

Hi Hebe123,

welcome to Ark. OK so first you'll need to install Ark Desktop client and get them off the exchange (withdrawal option).

1. https://github.com/ArkEcosystem/ark-desktop/releases download current version (1.1.0) for your OS (Linux,Mac or Win)
2. Follow this guide to generate yourself your private Ark wallet (since you'll be installing Ark Desktop Client you can use that part) : https://blog.ark.io/how-to-generate-your-own-ark-address-and-passphrase-5e4e1257ca5e - make sure you save that 12 word passphrase, that is your access to your wallet!
3. Withdraw from exchange (input the Ark address you generated) and wait for it to hit your wallet
4. Now you need to upvote a delegate of your choosing with instructions here : https://blog.ark.io/how-to-vote-or-un-vote-an-ark-delegate-and-how-does-it-all-work-819c5439da68

P.S. : You can use this pool calculator made by delegate 'dafty' = https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1FGo3FkC3uSWXGHatPQyny2brMWjAIJsHFCR-Lhkl_m0/edit#gid=0  or read proposals here https://forum.ark.io/category/5/delegates

If you need live support there is always someone out in our Slack : https://ark.io/slack
Hi Ark..is it necessary to copy and paste my wallet address into the Ark dashboard?
I just want to download your wallet and keep them in the cold wallet but need confirmation that that's okay .I really if I can help it don't want Ark dashboard for tokens I'm new to this please.advise.
Jon

You can keep them in cold wallet (eg. just send them to your ARK address) - make sure you save your ARK Address passphrase, that is your access to the wallet!
Is there is an instant way of sending an ark fund, directly through an exchange site, without having to go through a wallet that has been provided in the ark ...

I think yes it could be if you have a wallet address on that exchange site / service

btw, I just find a shared link on FB = https://www.change.org/p/poloniex-bring-ark-to-poloniex?source_location=minibar

should we support it?

how do you think dev?

yes, done.
