41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple vs. Banks? on: February 16, 2019, 05:36:12 AM
Obviously they are, I guess they will have to look for another niche, other clients. They should have seen this coming, sooner or later banks were going to be able to create their own blockchains and then, why should they trust Ripple instead of managing everything by themselves?

Not everyone also wants to build their own platform. It needs lots of cost and employees. Instead, they use the other popular platform to serve for their jobs and it will save more cost
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Change of strategy on: February 16, 2019, 05:30:19 AM
Some investors and traders are complaining of not making profits like they used to, when the market was better. Instead or profits, it has been loses.
If you find yourself in this situation, why don't you ask yourself; what method am I using that is not making things to work out?
It will surprise you that the method might be archaic or that it might not work for this period.
Why don't you change it.
For instance, you always wait for long to get huge profits within 24hrs, which used to work for you. Since the market is bear, why don't you reduce the time and be satisfied with small profit. Then gradually, you can accumulate more.

Exactly, we can't wait the huge profit at this time. We should just earn small profit and shouldn't hold too long
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trade my eth for LTC? on: February 15, 2019, 02:53:01 PM
I’m a long term hodler. Have had a few LTC since 2014, always been a fan.

I’m consolidating my portfolio.

Would you rather 4Eth? Or 12.5LTC?

Which would you choose and why?

IF I am, I will choose to hold both, 70% for Ethereum and 30% remaining for LTC because they are all good coins which shouldn't miss in the long-term portfolio
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: where are the investors? on: February 15, 2019, 02:43:15 PM
There is a large of number of investors left the market and maybe will never come back. And the number of remaining investors like me are waiting the more clear signal from market and the finally, a small number of investors are big sharks who are preparing stratergy to take as many Bitcoin as possible from others
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP competing places with ETH? on: February 15, 2019, 02:31:53 PM
Too fast and short XRP reclaims its position from Ethereum. I am still hesitant to invest now, the market is still not good. More often red and no significant changes. How do you respond to this? Will you still survive to buy several altcoins? Thank you in advance.

If you wait when the market raise again, maybe the opportunity to buy it with good price has no more. So, don't be hesistant because XRP is a coins which is very worth the investment
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you monitor your crypto portfolio? on: February 15, 2019, 02:25:33 PM
This is the biggest trouble when holding a large number of coins and if we can't control and update its price regularly, they may die before we can sell them
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The End All Coin on: February 15, 2019, 06:32:13 AM
So what would the perfect coin look like? What sort of technology, abilities, and specs would the perfect coin have to have to overthrow Bitcoin and all others and be the only crypto currency we could ever need?

I think a perfect coin is a coin which has enough almost things that community need to serve for their life and need
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What made you fall in love with crypto? on: February 15, 2019, 05:40:22 AM
Because of its advantages in the future if we use it for daily life. And it also brings many good opportunities for investors and workers who are really love it
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano on: February 15, 2019, 05:36:44 AM
Sometime, the supply is just the parameter to reference. It don't show all the development of a certain coins in the future
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel now? on: February 15, 2019, 03:19:53 AM
Actually, until now the conditions are still like those of 2018, namely the crypto market condition which is still declining and uncertain. I am still waiting patiently, so that this condition changes rapidly. But I could not do anything, except to endure in pain.

The belief is different to the endurance. Let's temporarily forget the price and focus on other things
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reading Whitepapers on: February 13, 2019, 03:50:16 AM
Reading whitepaper is considered the necessary step when research about a certain project but it will be very useless when nearly they are copied from others
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The crypto market is starting to improve??? on: February 09, 2019, 04:35:27 AM
Hello everybody,  Grin Today the market is green again, will it last for a long time or just an atmosphere of comfort for a moment and then red? How do you respond to the current atmosphere. Thank you for your attention. Wink

The market is challenging the patience of investors. So, the best way now is to stay out and watch
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero or Zcash on: February 09, 2019, 04:22:33 AM
Which one among these two highly anonymous coins is more reliable, efficient, more secure to use. in fact, which one is your take and why?

It is too amazing when the easy question like this that can receive 5 merits. Merit's system still has many issue to discuss  Grin
54  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can any analysis predict btc price for the next month? on: February 09, 2019, 04:08:57 AM
The current situation has caused me to hold huge sum of money that I intended putting into btc and altcoins. I know once btc jump, altcoins does same.
So the question is can anyone predict the price of btc for the next month? To enable me invest...

It's too crazy. If someone can know exactly the trend of BTC in next time, maybe there will be many milionaires appears. Just big sharks who are controlling this market really indeedly know what will happen
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS? - The better Ethereum? on: February 09, 2019, 04:05:30 AM
Dear Community,

I  am new to bitcointalk and I am valueing the vast experience of all members here.

We are just developing an own idea of crypto and therefore I was studying the smart contracting concepts of Ethereum and now EOS.

There are also a lot of other smart contract - blockchains on the market but Ethereum and EOS seem to be the most important ones.

Therefore I want to start a discussion about these two alternative and their base concept.

I also want to get some opinions what you think of the DPOS - concept, which EOS is based on.

And where will the development of Ethereum go? Will there be a switch from POW to POS?

Looking forward to your opinions and thoughts.

All best,

Michael

EOS needs more time to gain what Ethereum has now, let alone be better than Ethereum. Sorry the EOS's community when I say this
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There are so many cryptocurrencies in the market, what do they do? on: February 09, 2019, 04:00:41 AM
I have a lot of questions about the cryptocurrency market. What is the role of so many cryptocurrencies?I feel that there is no other use besides hype.

Yep, almost coins now are just used to transfer and trade to earn the profit and speculation for the future. Haven't seen clearly their uses in life yet
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I hear that Monero has a new competitor in town on: February 09, 2019, 03:56:43 AM
There are many competitors for Monero, but none is powerful enough. And I will not discuss about the coins whose anonymity is not 100% certain, those I don't care about.
Actually the only worthy new competitor for Monero would be Grin, if people would accept its inflationary nature.

I think in the future, if XRP has big evolution, it can be compete with Monero which one of the most favorite anonymous coins
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: do we still have hope to be able to see bull run?? on: February 09, 2019, 03:51:13 AM
now the market falls again, do we still have hope to be able to see bull run. no one knows when the market can recover. even with the many good news about the ethereum hardfork unable to make the market jump. so I thought bull run would only be a dream for all of us.

After Happy Lunar Year, the market is having first green signals and hope positive things will come in 2019
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Truth about altcoins on: February 08, 2019, 11:37:57 AM
all i see in crypto now is drama, a drama that will shock guys, in my own childish opinion as usual,  I encourage you all to atleast spare $100 into one or two altcoins in this dip and watch how the drama unfold, u will be happy u did, lastly, on no condition should u sell ur altcoins at loss, it's all game, be strong, don't panic...

 Thank you all

Spending 100-200 USD to this market just like a game and maybe you will can not practice your patience and even ignor it if the market still continue to go horizontal for long time anymore
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: alternative that rivals the ETH on: February 08, 2019, 11:27:21 AM
what if there is a new coin alternative that rivals the ETH and many use it as in erc20

whether it can be popular even beat the current ETH

are we ready to accept it if there is a new platform

Everything all can happen but this is very hard if ETherum continues to do their roadmap and their community more and more grow up everyday
