I dabbled in Doge for a bit with my 4870. Got approx 18000 coins, guess I'll just hold onto them until they're worth something or become worthless!

29  Economy / Computer hardware / [IN STOCK] 1x to 16x Powered 60cm USB3 PCI-e Risers for £10/ea MOQ 5 (UK) on: December 30, 2013, 09:30:52 PM
Hi all, I have another batch of powered 1x to 16x USB PCI-e risers, these have 60cm long USB3 cables and are of the same design as the picture shown below - pcb colour may vary. They have the usual capacitors on the boards for voltage protection and I've found them to be extremely reliable.

These are brand new, packed and I wish to sell at a minimum quantity of 5 for free postage for UK residents. So MOQ will be 5 for £50 - £10 each.
. International postage is available, please PM for prices. Insurance can be arranged but will be charged accordingly or you may request uninsured delivery to save on postal costs but the buyer accepts risks of loss or damage.

If you wish to buy via eBay then my eBay ad is below - the price is slightly higher to factor eBay and PayPal charges:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=141218274474

I'll accept PPG or BT - if you are in London or able to get to London then you may collect from either Central London or SE13. I will also accept escrows with reputable/verifiable trust - buyer pays escrow fees.

BTC is now accepted - I will price at a flat rate of 0.17 BTC for 5 cables, delivery methods as per above.

I also have some Dual PSU cables which allows you to connect 2 PSUs to 1 motherboard. The PSUs will come on at the same time when you power on your motherboard and go off at the same etc. Please see pic below.
Price is flat fee of £7.5 which includes free UK delivery. PM if you wish to order 1 or have bulk purchase queries.

Or order from eBay:

Thanks for looking
K

Hi, can you please price out the items below:

2x Asus Radeon 7990 Graphics Cards

And also, it would help if you priced out your other items for those who are interested and keeps everything on the forum and transparent.

Thanks

32  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: will the bitcoin reach $1000 one day...? on: December 05, 2013, 07:41:11 PM
Hi all, newbie here!

I've been hearing of bitcoins for nearly a year now and only recently have sat up and taken notice as the value has crept up gradually and is now just above $1000.

I kick myself for not having bought in earlier but am now trying to set up a wallet, encryption and joining exchanges to try and buy 1 or 2 BTC! However there are big hurdles to buying into this currency. Firstly it is very geeky and requires a lot of computer know how - not a problem for me but def a problem for non-techy people.

The currency is thus limited to people with tech knowhow and with access to technology - that in itself is a big market but to really make BTC acceptable and used by everyone (including those in 3rd world countries) some enhancements need to be made along with simplification of the ownership process.

Just my 2 pence worth!

Bye
K
