1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take part in casinos' tournaments? on: May 24, 2017, 09:19:19 PM
I used to play in a free weekly sports betting contest (Tournament) at intertops.net. Everyone  started with 1000 chips, top 10 spots payed out $10-$100.  It's since closed down but I would love to play something similar.

Oh  yeah, I used to play 40K or fold all the time lol. Made a bit of money from it too since I mostly played premium hands (AA, KK, etc). Then I would  sell the chips and play real money sit n gos.  Never had to deposit with my own money once.  Grin . I didn't play guts, shootouts, races, etc that much though, mainly 40K tables. Man I miss pokerstars

Here's my deal with the faucet thing. I've mentioned it   earlier but  let's see if I can explain this better:

It's being said that the point of the faucet  is to test out strategies and so forth. Ok fine. But If I were to deposit, I am met with:

Quote

"Your IP appears to be from the United States or another restricted jurisdiction. As a result, you will be limited to the free version of Primedice.

We are sorry for any inconvenience & hope you still have fun.
"

Isn't there something contradictory here?  To me that was fun. Did I use it a lot? sure. Did I  throw it on other websites to gamble more? (poker, sports, etc) sure. But what was I supposed to do? I mean.. I was having fun.. I don't know any other way to explain it. lol. And the site hoped I did.  I did deposit when I was allowed to though but now my  only choice was to... have fun.

I am trying to be nice here but you can't tell me I can use the faucet only then say I am abusing it because I used it.

finally: , no I've never abused/spammed the chat in any way (I've already said I usually keep to myself) and support gave me the runaround.

Please review my account again. Thank you.

Hey,

What is your username?

If you are from USA , and you got banned from faucet its probably because you were cashing it out to often or banking it to another account. Which is not playing for fun its abusing.

If you get banned from faucet please submit ticket and we will review your account.
In the effort to stop bots and faucet abusers mistakes can happen and some legit players can get affected.

So please submit a ticket and we will sort it out.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

id: Phinzphan. All I can do is reiterate what I've already said in both support and here. I guess I'll just post a link here in support ticket? Thank you

Do any of these bitcoin sites have American style horse betting?

(Win/Place/Show, Exactas,Trifectas, Pick 6's etc)

I don't think chatting (or lack thereof) should be a condition for taking one's faucet away. I'm a quiet/reserved/introverted type of person, it has nothing to do with any kind of exploitation. I also tend to have multiple things going on at once, so I didn't leave me much time to chat, not that I had much to say anyway. Don't forget, you once reducedpeople's faucets for abusing chat. (and those who didn't really abuse it) So now you're taking away people's faucets for doing the complete opposite?

as far as betting goes, my only response  to that is:

That's what I was basically doing. Having fun.

15  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: December 03, 2015, 08:33:13 AM
We just banned over 800 faucet bots. This will hopefully allow us to up to faucet for legitimate users.

Notice the drop? Smiley

I tried to do this without sticking out like a sore thumb but now I don't have much of a choice. What do you consider botting? What I did was set a timer using http://www.online-stopwatch.com/full-screen-interval-timer/. As you can see, it's just that, a timer. It has no interaction with primedice itself. All it does is tell me when to capcha/roll.  I set it for 2:40 because it  usually takes about 20-30 seconds to do the capchas so I set it 20 seconds early. Even then, PD would sometimes tell me I had to wait a few more seconds before using the faucet. I started doing this when the faucet went from 1 to 3 minutes so I could get more efficiency out of it, and I wouldn't have to guess when 3 minutes were up.

I know some people will say "Why don't you deposit like a real player?" I am not "supposed" to deposit since I am in the USA, so that option is rather moot.

I certainly do appreciate your generosity via the faucet, it's what got me into bitcoin but at the same time, I would love to keep using the faucet Cheesy Thank you

I totally missed that that guy said he used multiple accounts lol. He did ban a lot of "bots" though, and I definitely never botted. (or use more than one account)

Hey guys! What does it mean "Your faucet has been disable due to abuse" ? And all my accs muted by admin. I played faucet 4-5 hours a day every 3 minutes with few acoounts. What rule i broke? Where can i read about abusing?

Their facebook says they banned 800+ faucet bots but I have a feeling some of them weren't bots. I used the faucet a lot too but I've certainly never used a bot.
