3  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Legalizing Bitcoin on: February 19, 2018, 09:58:50 PM
I'm new to bitcoin but it's still plain to see that the government will eventually have no bearing over it. In fact, they never did, just think of all the things people can get their hands on. It's the governments job to regulate and bitcoin practically regulates itself. If said gov't had a lick of sense, they'd embrace the bitcoin revolution.
governments must update themselves and decide if they will regulate the use or not of bitcoin
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin can ruin a Country? on: February 16, 2018, 03:39:04 PM
Well, i just thought, if bitcoin become a currency of one Country, maybe it can destroy that country? Think of it, Bitcoins do not have a tax, and tax are used by the government to make that country a good one, without tax, what will be used to spend and make that country a good one?

What do you think?
la volatilidad y la especulación de las criptomonedas pueden llevar a un país a una crisis, supongo. A menos que a tiempo los paises comiencen a regular su uso.
5  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: In which countries is officially legalized bitcoin? on: February 16, 2018, 03:22:11 PM
Hi, it's legalized in south africa ?
South Africa is taking steps to regulate cryptocurrencies, has been among the slowest of advanced economies to begin to develop a legal apparatus for cryptocurrencies, which accumulates criticism for not accepting virtual currencies and blockchain technology before.

7  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: China will block all sites related to cryptocurrency and ICO on: February 15, 2018, 08:00:24 PM

China will block all sites related to cryptocurrency and ICO transactions, including foreign sites.
Ads on cryptocurrency and ICO disappeared from Baidu and China's Weibo
China applies a variety of controls to ICOs and domestic and foreign crypto trading platforms, including a decision to ban all other related businesses, such as local and foreign crypto trading sites.
This statement is seen as a "knock-out" to completely stamp out the domestic cryptocurrency market.
Can you link some source regarding on this news? on where china do already come into this state where they do impose more stricter about banning crypto and regulating some ICO. If it does then we cant do anything about it but would really see less adoption but yet its not still the actual reason on putting crypto into an end as long theres still people who do involve on these things dying isnt still possible on these days.
In the digital diary emol economy, i lost the link.
Where is this information taken from? Is it the official and approved statement?
A news item on 5/2:
The recent acquisition of the Chinese company BTCC, one of the three largest Bitcoin exchange operators in the country, by a blockchain investment fund in Hong Kong is the latest example that confirms the Chinese authorities' willingness to put an end to the business of cryptocurrencies. After the purchase, the company will focus exclusively on the international market and abandon its business of exchanging virtual currencies in mainland China, where the Government continues its efforts to put an end to this business. China has so far been the leading location for the cryptocurrency exchange business and hosts the world's largest community of Bitcoin "miners", computers that update and approve bitcoin transactions through blocks that are linked to a chain of data. According to estimates of January of the British consultant Capital Economics, until recently, 70% of the Bitcoin mining in the world was done in the Asian giant. "Most of the Bitcoin trading was done in renminbi (the Chinese currency, also called yuan) until the government began to prevent it, now the proportion of mining that takes place in China has fallen to 50% and currencies which are used are the dollar, the euro, the yen and the South Korean won, "the firm says.

9  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How many nodes blockchain.info has? on: February 13, 2018, 02:43:44 PM

I'm also unsure of how blockchain.info "wallets" actually work.

It's connected to full nodes and pushes transactions through them (in simple).

Can you please explain a bit more? Aren't the full nodes belong to them?
It was also suggested that transactions might be not validated? How can a computer be connected to the block chain (node) without fully enforce all of the rules of Bitcoin and NOT using a full node?

Jokes aside, Blockchain.info probably have full node that syncs blockchain somewhere that performs all of the usual functions of full node.

However they also have software that parses information from actual blockchain, writing it into searchable database (SQL or something similar). Your API call to blockchain.info most likely does not interact with actual node in any way, it only operates with information stored in their database.

I have no idea how their on-line wallet operates, but chances are in very similar way. They only use their node to push your transactions to the web. All tx generation and signing happens in some sort of backend app.

Really? does this work like this?
10  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Can bitcoin withdstand the raising legal obstacle. on: February 07, 2018, 03:54:24 PM
As we know it, bitcoin faces several question of legality. Some countries opposes  the circulation of bitcoin. The question is still on the air. What do you think guys.,
The Blue House, seat of the South Korean government, stressed that it will not prohibit the exchange houses of cryptocurrencies.

In addition, the Minister of Finance of this country, Kim Dong-yeon, informed that they will develop a new technological complex that will provide support to around 1400 startups. The infrastructure could be installed at the 2nd TecnoValle of Pangyo, Seongnam. The authority also believes that the project may involve Chinese companies.

Now, the House of Government ensures that cryptocurrencies will not be prohibited, as China did in September and will even encourage the participation of investors in the cryptoactive market in a framework of cooperation between both countries, the minister assured in his visit to Shongguacun, a technological center located in Beijing. The regulations, he argues, are necessary to avoid the use of cryptocurrencies for illegal activities such as money laundering and tax evasion.

During the last weeks the financial authorities of the Asian country have imposed strong regulations on exchange houses. Even a government official commented that they could close these entities. Soon after, however, the Minister of Finance reported that this was only one of the possibilities studied; but he assured that it is not likely to happen.

One of these measures was to prohibit exchange houses from operating with investors who participated with anonymous bank accounts. Although the rumor spread that they would not allow the opening of new digital accounts, the Government arranged a number of accounts in different banking entities to be used in exchange houses.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin loses its popularity ? on: January 31, 2018, 06:01:47 PM
Right now there are more coins available in the market which gives you more profit than bitcoin.
Bitcoin price is also not stable.
All these factors affect its popularity ??
What you think, still bitcoin is more popular ?
Today there are many other coins, but Bitcoin, because it is the first one, provides security.  Grin
