For starters equihash 144.5 which is asic resistant for now. At the end only progpow will remain asic resistant with parameters changing every 6 months.

I wish I had a clear answer to give you. First of all you must see if you can i crease your profits. Check nicehash with auto algo profitability setting. Dont mine ethereum Zcash or ZEN, try to find asic resistant coins if you want to keep mining with gpu.

In order to get rich you have to be lucky/smart and bet on good projects. You must also not be greedy and chase the ATH because you will probably get rekt. Taxation also plays a big part because in some countries the government takes half of your profits.

No real miner mines at a loss for a long period. The only reason that could justify such action is if you cant buy the coin direcly for various reasons related the banking system forbiding it or if someone wants to stay hidden from tax authorities.

Most ICOs are struggling to reach soft cap. The reasons (a) too many people got scammed (b) there are way too many projects out there. IMO paying money for crypto on advance, a big no no.

It could remain profitable after the block reward reduction but the price should increase at 400-500$ levels. Otherwise it's over for ETH gpu mining, it will be mined only by asic miners with access to really cheap electricity. BTW I dont see what the big deal is, there are plenty other ethash coins out there to mine.

With current low coin prices GPU mining is unprofitable unless you have very cheap electricity. Im afraid that selling your gpus right now will not give you the price you are hoping. I'm stopping mining as soon as I have enough for a MN and I wont sell my cards. I suggest you keep those cards and wait for a speculative coin with low difficulty and potential to appear. In the first few months you can mine a ton of coins.

If one has a lot of money he could best buy bitcoin and hodl untill he made a 2-3X return. If someone doensn't have a lot of money to invest his best move is to buy a cheap new altcoin with potential (DYOR etc) and hope he makes a 50-100X return.

Techologically ethereum is falling behind. The sharding solution is not a real scaling solution. If the ethereum network wants to achieve hundreds of transactions per second (TPS) they must implement masternodes.
As for the price, I dont believe it will ever return to Q4 2017 levels. The price was pumped by all these scam ICOs which are now practically dead. Almost no one invests in ICOs anymore, its the best way to become a bagholder.
