I'm investing little by little but at the moment I've only invested a quarter of the sum I intend to invest. This means I'm constantly worrying about 'missing the train' which makes me check the price a ridiculous number of times a day.

I'm a sculptor selling bronzes. I accept bitcoins.

Bronze sculptures for bitcoins. Haven't made any BTC sales yet though!

Sounds like a good idea to me.  In the UK there was in internet campaign to put banners on buses telling everyone that it was ok to put "No Religion" on the Census form, rather than put the cultural default of Church of England.

It was successful, and got a lot of media attention.

On the news today, there was yet another banking scandal.  Us Brits are fed up with banks.

I donated to this. The slogan read, 'There's probably no God, so stop worrying and enjoy your life'.

I would certainly donate to a bitcoin ad campaign

I will be including a 'pay with bitcoin' logo on my magazine ads.

Nice sculptures.  I'm gonna have to wait a little while to buy one, hopefully when 1 bitcoin or less will be enough to buy the one I want.

LOL! When that day comes I will be too rich to bother selling them!

I'm accepting bitcoins for my bronze sculptures and some of them go for more than that Tesla.

so one of my phones has no sim and just uses wifi. if i turned that off, would be better than usb?

or ipod touch?

If I wanted to spend bitcoins I could just put the sim card back in.....Or would there even be a security risk in connecting for a few minutes?
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / safe store bitcoins on simless smartphone on: December 06, 2013, 08:43:34 AM
I have read a lot about security and it seems to be the Achilles heel of bitcoin. I read about the Trezor, which sounds like a great idea but it occurred to me that a cheap smartphone would do the same job if the sim card is removed as soon as the bitcoins are in the wallet.

Any thoughts?

Apologies if this has already been discussed.
