543  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you secure your bitcoins? on: October 22, 2017, 10:49:38 PM
No matter where you  store your bitcoin you still need to be extremely careful in order to avoid being hacked. make sure you do not log into your wallet in a public computer or another persons mobile phone. Use google authenticator to ensure notification before any one can gain access to your wallet.

This exactly. It's always a good idea to log out of your devices after every use, and set up a two step authentication process for logging in. Most apps should provide this.

Most importantly keep your private keys away from everyone and have them either stored on a flash drive or on a piece of paper and then hide them from the world. If you can cram them in your mind too the better so that nobody apart from you will be able to access your wallets.
Well,in my case I secure my bitcoin through cashing out all my money from my wallets and then it's already a fiat so I can now deposit it in the banks and the rest I put it in a safe because no one can touch it instead of me nor open it. We don't even know what will happen in the internet connection so I prefer withdrawing because I would be glad if I already hold my cash in cold. I think many of you here also doing the same thing. This is the best method I think in securing bitcoins.
544  Economy / Economics / Re: DON'T DO PANIC SELLING !!! on: October 20, 2017, 11:19:56 PM
Many people entering BTC at this highs is coming from traditional money. With a good percentual increase, even for 5 or 10% and some FUD the panic will begin. People are used to 1 or 2 % profit on stocks. If they have 10 and a bad news. Panic it is, and down we go. And that means a buy order on my side.
panic is the worst nightmare for humans, panic selling to minimize a reasonable lose if the situation is not helpless, therefore smart people like me and you take advantage of this moment of panic
I hate to hear panic selling especially those people who believe right away from the speculations that spread everywhere. There's no point if you allow negativity to yourself. You are in safe hands with bitcoin and stop panic buying. Make use of your time to secure even more of your bitcoin but don't do that again and again once you hear something bad about bitcoin. Always make sure that there are many reliable and fact information from the head itself to avoid panic buying.
545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Cryptocurrency - Inequality on: October 20, 2017, 10:28:12 PM
Today I happen to notice the Bitcoin price has gone up to 5400 level. Why there is no big activity in other alt coins. I feel 54% of market cap is Bitcoin. So does it mean alt coins have no value.

I feel there big inequality or all other all coins in no way par with bitcoins as it is market leader and it is distancing itself from others in Price.

The 54% market cap dominance we now see for Bitcoin might seem 'inequal', but is actually still pretty low considering BTC occupied at least 80% of the market cap before the spring of 2017. Altcoins are agressively on the offensive this year. Personally I'm diving entirely into altcoins in the coming weeks as I suspect/hope they'll yield a profit when this whole hardfork thing has passed.

Altcoins move more than Bitcoin moves, but Bitcoin seems to hold its value longer and more reliability than altcoins. It all depends on your trading style. Altcoins are best for high risk, high reward - but if you are not skilled at trading, and many people are not, just buy and hold Bitcoin.
Bitcoin has earned its present status after many years and as it was a totally new concept so it grabbed the attention of most people and once they indulged into it, they realize its benefits. Then many other crypto coins were released in the market but none was able to get to the level of bitcoin. First, BTC supply is a scarce one from the beginning and the demand has been increasing with time. That is why, altcoins can't beat it.
Yeah that's right. On the other side, bitcoin is part of cryptocurrency. I get curious when the inequality existed among the two. Maybe others say not equal due to the value is reaching so high and sometimes not. Certainly, there are different coins that can't be the same level as bitcoin because those altcoins don't have much big profits that you can get. Fortunately,if it is converted to bitcoin depending of stakes that the coins have, for sure it's a big value coming from bitcoin. Inspite of inequality of bitcoin to cryptocurrency, they are just related to each other and a partner all the time to make it equal.
546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BItcoin end or destroy in this month?? on: October 19, 2017, 11:44:41 PM
As you have already realised by now Bitcoin has crossed 5000$ and now it's on it's way ahead of 6000$ will cross that soon too. As we know Bitcoin is the best long term investment anyone can ever have while in the current century. It is already reached the moon now it is going even further.

I am convinced by what makes bitcoin still survive to this day, and has a remarkable community, which makes the price of 1 bitcoin $ 5600 and I would think this is just the beginning of a bitcoin rise, it's likely to keep rising from the current price in the year upcoming ...
Definitely that's a good view of yours. Who says bitcoin will end? Only stupid can think of that way and there's no assurance that it ends right there and then. They don't even know what it means to be successful not destroying. This month is very important to us because there are lots of work to do and it shows how strong bitcoin in our country despite the fact that it's not official yet from the governments we have all over the country.
547  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin unstoppable now on: October 19, 2017, 11:24:21 PM
Bitcoin was unstopable since its introduction many years ago, as otherwise some governments or secret services surely would have already tried to stop it!  Cheesy

We will see if anyone will be able to stop this decentralized system one day and if not then good night to the fiat money system.
If only most people knew the many attempt that was made to bring bitcoin to its early grave in the past, and how it has still thrived till date, then they will know that bitcoin is unstoppable most especially at this stage. It is not even about dragging positions with fiat, it is just about liberating ourselves and allowing the decisions to be in our hands rather than being controlled by the government.

They can still make use of their fiat since not everyone will make use of bitcoin globally anyway, but for us who feel it is much better for us, then it is our luck.
Yes it is surely unstoppable now because of the growth it shows in statistics. It will be more and more successful because investors keep coming back to invest with bitcoin. They can see how worthy it is to invest. If were them I would also keep going unfortunately,I don't have that huge amount yet for me to buy bitcoin with the price right now,it's hard for me to buy. I know one day I would also be an investor. I use my bitcoin for the sake of my family and I think this is also worthy. I know bitcoin will continue to grow and no one can stop it as Bill Gates mentioned before.
548  Economy / Economics / Re: USD vs BTC on: October 19, 2017, 10:38:04 PM
USD is FIAT money and FIAT money is the most useless money ever. It has no use but to make you feel like you have money, but you don't. You have debt, that's what you have.

Fiat today is not the same as several decades ago. Now it's value is mostly projected because it's not covered with precious metals. Now it's only partially covered and mostly with other convertible fiat reserves which have the same problem.
I somehow agree with that and this time is a modern era which we definitely see changes in every country that adapts different methods of earning and paying bills it's either from the bank or from the salary they receive. Now,talking about USD and BTC,I don't have any problem with that because they are both money and they should not be competing from each other. We all know that both are profitable to us and there's no need to put barriers with the two.
549  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price will go down? on: October 19, 2017, 10:18:39 PM
I bit stand still answering to the question. If you see the level of ups and downs, its so small. The increment is less and the drop is very less.  This confirms that bitcoin is so firm and stable in its growth.
I dont think bitcoin will continue to go down. The demand of bitcoin is increasing and yes this means it keeps going strong that people use into bitcoin. So the price will even rise in the upcomig months.
you are right that bitcoin price will never go down because bitcoin demand already increasing too much faster everyone trying to buy bitcoin in huge amount for future everyone know that bitcoin price will go to double value in few months and for me its good opportunity to make you money in double amount in bitcoin.
As for me,I don't mind if bitcoin price will go down because we knew since then that it's just normal and if goes down, then eventually it goes higher or even higher. I don't see any problem with that though. The recurring situation is like a dejavu to everyone who knows well or the ones who inlvoved bitcoin from the very beginning. It will just keep on increasing this time since winter is coming. I think it will have a very nice bubble and the energy is there.
550  Economy / Economics / Re: Where can i invest my money? on: October 19, 2017, 09:30:51 PM
Each and every have to determine the place to make investments his income. A particular person should truly feel responsible for their funds. Hope you need to have at your sanity. No want to pay attention to the tips of others, it does not constantly guide to accomplishment
That's correct, we have to be wise when investing and ensure that we truly understand where we invest our money. For me, I would only choose bitcoin because it's proven legit and we are in the early stage of development which means more room for improvement and our investment will also grow.
That's right sir. Actually, there are so many ways to invest money but there are big investment and small investment. If you prefer big ones make sure you can provide all the needs of a particular investment like a real estate. On the other hand,if you invest in a small thing like a small office business, there will be few things to consider. First,be innovative since there are many competitors that surrounds every business. Second, location wise and manpower wise. Eventhough it is small, there are also several risks to take. Plan ahead for your investment before it happens and you can invest your money.
551  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: October 18, 2017, 11:29:13 PM
I have saved 5 btc as of now and if price crosses $6500 in next couple of days then I am planning to sell some of my coins as I need to renovate my home so that would be the best price to sell my coins and rest I will hold till the end of they year as even experts are predicting that it can achieve the price of 10k usd by that time.
Not that much because I spent some of my bitcoin due to important needs for my family. I save but next time I will save more because I badly need to refurbished our home away from the city. I see how difficult it is to live without a strong roof and ceiling in the house. So if ever I can get big amount of bitcoin,I would extend my help to my family because I love them and I would do anything for them that's why I am here. I'm eager to learn more things from here and I won't stop. I want to save more and more.
552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you a True Believer? on: October 18, 2017, 11:09:20 PM
I see alot of people are holding Bitcoins and are convinced that their coins would multiply in value. The same people preach the Bitcoin ideology that its P2P,  decentralised, low to nil send or receive etc.

However, only a small group of people today are using Bitcoins as they were intended. And the fees are not exactly cheap to buy Bitcoins, not to mention those exchange places are basically like banks.

So my question is, are you a True believer of Bitcoins and other Cryptocurrencies that it will one day replace paper money, decentralised and all. Or are you only a believer that the price will continue to climb and you'll one day be a millionaire?

I simply find it fascinating that its apparent, people are preaching the benefits of Bitcoins but they are not using them. Preaching to newbies and drive up the demand and prices of the coins.
Rather, I would love to see people who really believe in Bitcoins, actually going out there and using the coins to purchase products, send/receive coins and let the coins circulate around. I would love to see that day. When the prices are not so volatile, and the coins are being used as they were intended. However, not being volatile also means the prices would rise sharply like it has been this year, which also means you wont be a millionaire holding onto them coins.

So are you a True Believer?

I am a true believer but not in that one day it will replace paper money but in way of that it is one more online way of currency which will run with fiat currency in our daily life in future. Fiat currency and Crypto currency both will be existing in future, as both have their own value in their field.
Without a doubt yes I am a true believer. I know it is a big adjustment for us all to use crypto instead paper money because the system will also be replaced just like in the movies that we've watched,it looks so easy for them to spend and to cash out money everywhere and anytime so since the world of Science is evolving, technology is winning our hearts for that and that is bitcoin. I like their idea with this kind of crypto but at the same time a bit worried because some elderly people have a difficulty in making money and using bitcoin. It's fine if there is trusted assistance. All in all, I am still a true believer despite any issue that is being posted everywhere about bitcoin.
553  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining coins save or sell it? on: October 18, 2017, 10:44:09 PM
As for me if ever i will mine the coin that i will be getting in Minining will be going to my Cold Storage. I think it will be better if you will save coin because as we can see Price of the coin changes every month and it is usually going up than going down. So keeping the coins will make you profit even more in the future.
Really? I haven't tried the cold storage and what's with that?Well,if I mine I will save my coins becauss I know how important is earning a kind of coin. Everything that has a value for me is too important so I must keep it or even safe it. I don't mind how small it is because I know where big things starts from. I always think the postive sides of each coin and it plays different functions as well. Therefore,I won't be that picky in terms of earning any coin. Everything has its purpose and importance. Therefore, make use of it while it is still there. So I don't sell mining coins.
554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: October 18, 2017, 10:22:49 PM
In my point of view nothing is impossible but Bitcoin is in positive mode only till date Bitcoin to be replaced by another cryptocurrency is not that easy as we all know that the performance of Bitcoin is very constructive not only that compare with another cryptocurrency Bitcoin is known and famous with the people a lot.

So it is not easy and also very difficult that Bitcoin will be replaced by another cryptocurrency.
Correct, people think that another coin can just come up and replace bitcoin but things are not so simple, if bitcoin failed and was replaced by another coin I do not know if I will still invest in crypto anymore and I think I’m not alone on this, the trust in cryptocurrencies will erode and that will make the prices to crash and it is possible that this will be a setback that could be impossible to overcome.
I would definitely do the same. Since then I have no problem with bitcoin. So if ever it will be replaced by another cryptocurrency, I think that will be my end. I mean it would be hard for me to give my trust on particular things because I want to make sure that it is safe and certain on things that I expect. Bitcoin has given me so much challenging tasks everyday despite how weak I am,I became strong and face the challenges in earning it. I know that this time I'm experiencing storms in life but someday that storm will have a fine and cloudy day.
555  Economy / Speculation / Re: This family bet it all on Bitcoin on: October 17, 2017, 11:30:45 PM
https://www.cnbc.com/2017/10/17/this-family-bet-it-all-on-bitcoin.html

They sold everything to buy bitcoin and are living in campsites, waiting to become millionaires.

Wow that's amazing for me, betting it all in for bitcoin and the article says they are used to live now through trading. And the way of thinking is just like me because I also believe that the price of bitcoin can be doubled or quadrupled in 2020 but still we are far from that year. Bitcoin is a great investment and this family has their faith to bitcoin, I wonder on how many families are going to do the same thing upon knowing that they are the first family to take the all in risk for bitcoin.
I think its better to invest the extra money because we don't know what happen in bitcoin peice in the next few years. Because even the price of bitcoin continus to increase they have possible the price decreass once many bitcoin user sell their bitcoin and for sure this family sad because  they lose money. But their lucky if the bitcoin price become double price for sure they money also become double!
I also do it. My family bet it some on bitcoin not yet all because the income from work is not that baig so we can't afford. Also,we have own families to spend for the basic needs and other expenses. If we have a chance to bet it all we will do that next time. We have to save our bitcoin first and with full force we will bet and we have this fighting spirit to grow open mindedly and optimistic in what we do about bitcoin. We disregard the negativity or issues about bitcoin that's why we as family should move forward to have profitable life to our future. We invest because we believe and I guess that's the most important with bitcoin.
556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think we don't get quality Bitcoin users anymore? on: October 17, 2017, 11:09:29 PM
Maybe I'm wrong but I have the feeling that with Bitcoin price growth we have got a lot of new users who are not honesty and passionate interested in Bitcoin but only in fast, instant profit and if they don't get it they got disappointed and give up. Some of them don't even bother to get some basic knowledge about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general. That is also the reason why we see so much panic selling when the price dumps. Is that only my feeling or do you think that also?

You're definitely right, but I don't think we can blame all newbies for jumping into Bitcoin, mainly because of the fact that it is an insanely lucrative new market for them - we just have to accept that the far majority of the people here all only interested making profits. At some point when they grow out of their noob shell, they will start to develop a better form of understanding if they really see value in what crypto has to offer (aside from the financial aspect). And yes, the lack of Bitcoin understanding is what makes people end up selling their coins in panic. People who don't understand Bitcoin, or this market, don't have any confidence in Bitcoin and what it stands for. At the end of the day, it's their loss, and I don't really care if they sell their coins at a loss, because I am there to buy up these coins at discount rates, and sell them their coins back with a massive premium. Wink
I believe in what you say. As far as bitcoin's concern, quality users are notjust showing how good they are at selling, holding, trading and a lot more. They are also particular with what they experience in handling bitcoin for years so that they can share to others on how to dome techniques in dealing with bitcoin. It's not that we don't get quality users anymore but we are preparing users to have quality with regards to bitcoin. Preparation is very important so that there is still quality users with bitcoin.
557  Economy / Economics / Re: transition FIAT to DIGITAL? on: October 17, 2017, 10:47:20 PM
how will people adapt change from FIAT CURRENCY to DIGITAL CURRENCY like BITCOIN? Huh

Start with online banking, introduce backend as blockchain related currency, have the app auto convert the value.
That might confuse people since their balance is changing so probably would need a cash side and a cryptocurrency side with a note on the screen that the prices are changing over time.
Done and implemented.
I think it's the opposite way around. Digital to fiat is the better one. Have you already tried that one that you mentioned above? It also confuses me too. I guess it's better if cashing out money from crypto to make it fiat and that's the time you start your bank account, not the online banking. I think it's a lot worth it so that you can ask more information directly to the bank or if you have complains. As you mentioned, the balance is changing and it needs cash that's why I prefer to fiat money first so it maintains the balance and with less worries.
558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Being Manipulated on: October 17, 2017, 10:20:28 PM
Hello y'all, I recently noticed something about Bitcoin, it seems that the countries that have more users of the crypto are manipulating the currency behind the scene. Forget the issue of it being demand and supply. Take a look at when China brought up a regulation on bitcoin in the country, the price of bitcoin dropped rapidly, so that the rich elites can buy much of the currency during that period since the price is now lower.

This is what am guessing though and I shouldn't be criticised since we're in a free world in which nothing is free. Grin Grin Grin

Just thinking aloud, since you know all this, why didn't you also buy in into the dip since the information of the dip is for everybody and not that its applicable to only some people to see before it then circulate to the general populace. Sometimes, I wonder how we see opportunities right in front of us decide to avoid it and then come about saying some people behind the scene. Are you in front of the scene?
This is something indescribable information. Why is China involved in here? I guess you are referring China as a real example of what manipulation is about with bitcoin. I can see no difference even without China if they really manipulate bitcoin there should be many rukes indicated with it or the system has broken. What scene are talking about? It should be the people to see before their eyes how bitcoin slowly creates a big scene in the world and that is by helping one another. The manipulation issue won't happen. We can't manipulate bitcoin either.
559  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin prices rise high on: October 17, 2017, 09:59:29 PM
But in my case, nobody has been really interested in Bitcoin, even if it's a close friend. I've told them about bitcoin, but they just grope like I do not believe what I inform. and for some people who are genuinely interested in Bitcoin, I believe that the high factor of Bitcoin's value affects them so they focus on Bitcoin.
They have their own belief and it's hard to convince a person if they are not open minded, bitcoin is a quite new technology and for sure new to them and since there's a lot of scam online they might be afraid to try this kind. Don't worry, once they understand they will adopt with bitcoin, right now we have to focus educating on people who are interested, eventually when bitcoin are more popular they will notice it.
People have different attitudes and different responses when talking about bitcoin. We can't blame the fact that we are created individually. No wonder some will believe about bitcoin or don't. Bitcoin prices rise high because there are many of us who keep believing in it and this may affect the price. Some become wiser and deep thinker when it comes to holding or selling to aim higher profit. This will define how true you are with bitcoin and it's just a normal reaction of the prices of bitcoin whether it goes high or low but of course higher is better to have a profitable result.
560  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Spreading Bitcoin on: October 17, 2017, 09:29:24 PM
What about cyber cafe's?
Most of the owner of cyber cafe dont know about warnet ..if we can convince them about bitcoins then the popularity of bitcoins can be doubled..what's ur opinion?
they most likely think of it as revenue from a bitcoin greater than the income of warnet so they are less sure, that bitcoin income is better than the warnet
I also have a warnet  but I prefer my onlien work in bitcoin. because bitcoin is very promising in everybody to get good results from the bitcoin .. though can make a bright future
let alone you by trading by way of investment, it is very easy to get the results every day even every time

Absolutely true. Working online with bitcoin isn't a bad idea. My neighbors keep asking me about this job and how to earn bitcoin. They also have family to feed so they are the ones who get interested in it. I spread bitcoin if the person is willing to help himself/herself with determination. I won't spread info of bitcoin if the person is not willing to give their time listening and asking about bitcoin. I wanna see how hungry they are about bitcoin and by the time they are eager enough,I spread semi-detail information about bitcoin and the rest will be history.
