Millionaire question, where is the bottom... Now as the price sinks we can make huge profit but only if the bottom will be hit well.

100? 50? 10? One troll? 0?

Bottom at 50 = profit 2 times when price gets at least to 100.

Bottom at 10 = profit 10 times...

A question is if the price bottoms soon or just will it take few days until x2 and x5 rewards (really badly timed) appear - they may increase only 2 things - diff or dump.

And one big warning,

dump = going BELOW real price
dump end = QUICK price spike because people start panic buying to get unsuccessfull rebuying sells back.

Me. Keeping them at craptsy between 150 sell and 100, 50, 2, 1 rebuy orders  Grin Never made faster profit.

Even the crash may be scalped  Grin

Its annoying that no auction offers more possibilities to set up a price.

E. G. someone sells at 200 and sets up a rebuy at 150. But he cant set "stop-loss" price to rebuy at 220 when price moves another way than he wants.

The weird thing is...

EAC is at top of profitability

BUT

The diff still goes down

Miners stop mining when something is very profitable to mine? Mad?
565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN - NEW COIN JUST LAUNCHED] *EarthCoin* Is Here To Make A Splash For 2014! on: January 14, 2014, 03:48:43 PM
Hello flasheart. Greetings from Pilsen  Smiley Still mining, still profitable. Sometimes 2 mhashes, sometimes 4 mhashes, with small outages when some really good other deal appears.

150k to hold, the rest to profitable mining. This is my strategy. Sold some EACs at 900, some at 800, many at 500 very risky (hoped to price will go down to make a rebuy or re-mine) and very few at 250 just to pay bills. Now selling only coins owned over 150k. Maybe i will go up to 200-300k stackholdings, the diff is now very good and the next x5 reward day may be very interesting. Im a small fish but even small fishes can play the market...

When something grows up rapidly, sell small parts of your portfolio, when something will go down, try to sell and rebuy for one half, when capitulation phase appears, just mine cheap or rebuy... The only risk is a time. All coins go down and up. It will take until there appears real next generation of crypto and will be generally accepted. But this is not a problem of today or tomorrow.
566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Earthcoin wallet won't sync on: January 14, 2014, 03:38:14 PM
I have default wallet with 8 connections, sometimes more. Weird... Just use typical solution - manually download nodelist.
567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Colossuscoin (COL) on: January 14, 2014, 02:59:01 PM
First you should offer something else than this obvious single-person ballyhoo based on promising, promising and again only promising. No evidence, no investors. People have already bought enough of air or warm water.
What is your offer in comparison to e. g. NXT? What is your offer in comparison to stable old coins?

I dont try to troll you, im trying to get some relevant informations as potential investor, every potential investor needs more valid facts and more relevant than "blockchain developed again" - this doesnt say anything.
Making something cheap doesnt mean anything, penny stocks are always "cheap".
568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Colossuscoin (COL) on: January 14, 2014, 08:02:22 AM
Still having stronger and stronger feelings about this project to be one-man-show...
569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: POLL: Which Alt Coin will see the most growth in 2014? on: January 14, 2014, 07:23:28 AM
I dont bet exactly on NXT but i have similar opinion.

There runs totally misshapen competition for the best alternative but it may be similar like when people were improving steam machine while someone just turned on the electricity.
570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: POLL: Which Alt Coin will see the most growth in 2014? on: January 14, 2014, 07:02:10 AM
I noticed one thing...

- every coin has many developers genial like Einstein, skilled and outstanding
- every coin is totally innovative and bringing the blue from the sky
- every coin has excellent promotion team, marketing and blabla
- every coin will go at least to the moon, sometimes to saturn, sometimes to X planet
- every coin promises a long time strategy, roadmap, community and blabla

But in the end there are always the same craps, which compete only in one discipline - how many sheeps followed and supported the initial pump dividing them into the "successfull" and "fading" ones. And the winners? They just get popular just like Joseph Goebbels said - one hundred times repeated lie gets true. At least for a necessary while.

Winners? The biggest in history were still only two,

Bitcoin. Innovation: Was the first. Developers: one guy who disappeared at launch. Marketing: none. Reputation: horrible. Distribution: Early miners have them all. Moon? Nope, earth was just enough.
Try to realize that someone would start bitcoin today...

Litecoin. Innovation: Its resistant to professional machines (really great idea, try to realize this kind of "innovation" somewhere, e. g. replacing professional aircraft equipment by something from asian bazaar)
Marketing: What is it? Reputation: Neutral Distribution: A bit better, someone has 1 mil. LTC in one wallet. Moon? Maybe.

So we can bet the next descendant will be probably a requalified crap. Now you can go back to be rummaging trough the garbage of today "coins".

..
+many

This was a bit hard to read. I assume English is not your native tongue? But it was well worth it. ...

Thanks.

Yup, english is really not my native language Smiley But even in my native language people consider my sentences and articles to be more complex and difficult than its usual and common. Im from central Europe, it has given me an idea - to fill up some informations to my profile... Just for explanation.

Once more thanks, many interesting articles and posts here got forgotten. Same like with the whole EAC and another not so crappy coins, they are covered with dust like pearls in the sand. Maybe +1/-1 voting system would be fine to be implemented here. +1 for wise words, -1 for bullshits -10 for obvious spam. Every stupid game forum has similar system of voting, why not bitcointalk?
572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 42 | + | + super rare + | + | + | + only 42 coins to be mined + | + | + | on: January 14, 2014, 05:54:25 AM
Interesting.

Btw 42 bubble starts to dissipate slowly. Congratulations to winners, big haha for those who bought this crap high just because craptsy probably got bribed and placed it instantly to make profit together.
573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN - NEW COIN JUST LAUNCHED] *EarthCoin* Is Here To Make A Splash For 2014! on: January 14, 2014, 05:24:44 AM
At least the price doesnt move too radically. Except typical craptsyspike. The most killing for new coins is price shaking, due to instant retarget, is EAC relativelly immune to that.
I agree, the price depends on real basements and real work. Our small metropolitan network may accept earthcoin, if it survives first months, i will decide to use EAC for propagation of our network and later maybe it will be seriously taken as online payment (giving some users possibility to pay the bills hidden allowing giving them special price - we cant give any rabats due to laws, we dont pay taxes but we cant give another than one universal price for our non commercial "product").

EAC has many advantages what other coins dont offer, dont forget.

But its hardly shadowed by the explosion of crapcoins, if the developers and promoters hard work will steady continue, it may be everything OK. If they dump their premined amounts and leave the ship with big haha, it will die, of course. Its a startup project as everyone else but i think people are so much blinded by pump-n-dump coins, ponzi schemes, etc. that they ignore the real purpose of virtual currencies - to circulate and create transactions and gain value primarily by transactions, not by gambling, pump n dumping or technical manipulations which never give any more value than dogs poo.

Yes and one good advice - bitcoin got big, why? Because the first adopters were... enthusiasts, mafians, growers, smokers, dreamers, black traders and fiat/bank-system-haters. Think about it. Dont say to public anything like "faster and cheaper way how to move your money for ganja" but let these people as early-adopters to get attracted. Just nondirectly, compare BTC transaction price vs. EAC, compare BTC transaction speed vs. EAC, it will be enough. BTC is like a crowded 2 way road with high toll, EAC (but 20 percent of competiting altcoins too also) is an empty 6 way highway with symbolical toll and boosters... This is the main way to promote it.

Bad way: Buy eac, because its cheap. Buy EAC because there are 9 developers behind it, maybe. Buy EAC until it gets to the moon. Sell now, regret later. Pump EAC.

Right way: Use EAC because its fast. Use EAC because it has the potential to be one of BTC descenders. And dont forget to fully utilize good marketing, the marketing will sell our EACs and let them grow up. Not now, but maybe in few months. When the situation with bitcoin slowness will get unbearable and limiting (approx. end of 2014). Ya and of course, many months after this pathetic bubble of crapcoins, ponzi-scheme "PoW" and "PoS" 2nd/3rd non mining "bitcoin descenders" and another really wild things based on everything except real work and value.
574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Netcoin | Scrypt | **No Premine** on: January 14, 2014, 04:22:29 AM
Netcoin pools  Angry

- netsmalltimeminer: Setting automatically too high diff for my miners = they dont send enough shares until block changes = poor hashrate (less than 70 percent of real hashrate) => not profitable

- dedicatedpool: Strange efficiency of the pool last day => not profitable (probably ddos or lagspikes due to overload)

Trying to find another one  Angry

folks, im disappointed.
therefor i leave this community... i have better things to do than beeing ignored.
since everything is slow in my academic-world i have to wait till egea-president and marketing-advisor meets me, but i definitely made my work for eac did you?... whatever... do whatever you like.
i warned you... twitter is not a eac-friendly-environment and that will be payed in low numbers... GJ!
i put a lot of money in here although im a student... and a lot of efforts. see you... soon.

 Huh

The only truth is that the most profitable and popular get the most unserious coins last time.

Doge and 42, both got expensive as hell but WHY my god, WHY? Yes, community, but the community is nothing in comparison with real business. 42 probably even no community, just stupid idea that if you move decimal point a bit left, the crapcoin will get more valuable. And that if you bribe craptsy to be announced at launch the people will buy it. Blah. Doge - the same but opposite - give people millions of something and they will consider it to be cheap and user-friendly. No matter how "fair" was the distribution and how quickly will this coin die after some months when the mining profitability will go to 0.

Then there are loads of crapcoins which only create smoke-barriere to let potentially valuable coins to die with them and scare off the buyers.

And then there are some potential coins which are not valuable as they should be, because hype-coins are beating them even if the competitive hype-coins are pure pump, dump, forget scene actors.

At least we can say one positive about EAC - its stabilized and doesnt suffer from any childish illness or total disqualifiyng stupidity like competiting crapcoins. The hashrate is stable over 2 Ghashes, price stabilized a a bit above 200 satoshis, mining is medium profitable, speculative mining probably a bit more (mining for not instant selling).

Devs, now its all about you, you have 2 choices:

1) keep dumping the coin by melting your premined amount hiddenly when price goes over your minimum acceptable price (seems to be 200)
2) keep kicking your ass and continue with development, business, promotion, community building (...)

The people will follow, EAC wins many polls but the buypower still disappears in a blackhole or just never appears.

And why EAC wins so many polls? One thing - logic. Read my post here - there are all disqualifying criteria how to recognize a crapcoin easy https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=400956.msg4424424#msg4424424

Yeah and dont forget, the war doesnt win the better one or wiser one, but the stronger one. Romans lost against barbarians. Germany lost against Soviets.

You have noticed a bitcoin foundation, wtf? Being extremelly carefull.

Distribution schema is typical multi-level-marketing pyramide. Partially just pure ponzi due to multipliers. The potential value of investment doesnt come to existence from the value growth but from following donors (just pure ponzi - newcomers paying the older members of pyramide). The only difference is that the pyramide is limited to only few early adopters.

Not willing to take any part at all.
580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2014-01-03] Alpha Technology Takes Pre-Orders for Litecoin ASIC Miners on: January 13, 2014, 04:33:26 AM
Not as simple... No datacentre has so many IPv4 networks to cover all demand of miners. You can own the whole C block of 256 IPs, yes. But its worthless in that case - imagine you have 700Mhash rig.

256 IP address range - you can still put only 6Mhashes. If nobody else is mining in your neighborhood.
more IP address ranges... yes if nobody mining in that town, you probably will get some Ips from it... for extra big money making mining unprofitable and only if nobody else runs a rig there.
VPN? Yes you can, but where you want to create a VPN? TOR? Everybody will use them, will be depleted completelly. Your work? You probably run a rig here. Datacentre? Everyone trying to get IPs here... Your grandma? Maybe... First you need to run anything 24 hours stable every day here and hope the connection will not fail.

It would work much better than you think. The 700Mhash rig owner would be happy if he finds IP ranges for 50 mhashes of power.
