1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN][SBC] StableCoin Giveaway Thread - Free StableCoins! on: December 05, 2013, 12:00:43 AM
There's been a lot of fake accounts in this thread, so I've been skipping over some people who have a low activity rating. If you feel like you've been unfairly left out, send me a message.

The 150 is almost gone, but there's still a few left to give out.

You imply that those of us with low activity rating are fake accounts.  It's not my credibility at stake here, pal -- it's yours.  You said post here and get a coin.  I posted and instead of sending a coin, you insult me for being new.  If you didn't intend to send a coin to the first 150 posts, then you should have stated so upfront. I won't bother sending you a message, since it's not a question of fairness but one of credibility.

And thanks for the welcome!

Been following bitcoin for several years, but I've only followed this forum peripherally.  I must say I'm shocked at the proliferation of alt coins.  I thought there were only a handful.  Seems like they number in the dozens at this point.  Hard for a noob to make sense of it really.  But it seems pretty clear to me that cryptocoins are here to stay and bitcoin is just the beginning.  I'm thinking that in 5 years the landscape will be very different.  Thoughts?
5  Other / Beginners & Help / Marc Faber on CNBC blames rise in bitcoin on monetary (Fed) policy... on: December 04, 2013, 02:10:47 AM
http://www.c[Suspicious link removed]m/id/101235052 (link got removed.  First post and I'm already apparently breaking rules. Anyway, you can look up the video from today on CNBC, if you're interested.  The gist is the subject line ayway.  He's blaming the Fed for the rise in many asset classes, including BTC.)

Agree/Disagree?
