When you buy crypto you exchange it for fiat currency and because of the exchange the crypto value gave its birth in the moment of exchange but the rulings of the value of crypto is different from due to the demand and supply rule. The more crypto fiat exchanges happen the higher the value of crypto will be. Crypto is not a stable currency and it is not like you buy crypto wity one dollar over a period of time you will still get a crypto value of 1$ for it all depend on the market movement. This is why most of people buying crypto is sorting it like an investment.

Precisely, we have different perception towards the interpretation of the thread. So it is better to emphasize the objective as well if it is all about awareness or not so that one can surely perceive what the thread would be like to inform, share or warn. To make it easier the title of the thread can change or turn all of it like if you will going to add the word "WARNING" which is awareness and could fit in this section.

Yes, that is the right board for the scam accusations. There few posts here about scam activities that should belong in the section where OP had been suggested. However, beginners & Help section is a broad section which all of the post can fit in for the newbies and newly comers where they need to familiarize first the forum sectioning and where to post. Beginners & Help section almost offer all the topics posted so which make sense that some users are posting about this.

Anyway, correcting it would be the best thing to do like in the OP. Hopefully, every scam accusations thread will be posted in the right section.

Anyone can express their thoughts here. There is no rule prohibiting anybody to express their feelings towards the forum and to other members that are also experiencing and learning the same thoughts. If you do not agree then you can skip to post in the thread or else you need to post because every post you do count as payment and you do not have any answers that you can find which resorted to the likes of your posts. Well you are free in that part and then you can also start a thread for that prohibiting others to make posts.

Clearly the result of this are all bad considering that only few projects are successful after launching the project and put to exchange. BTW, this post should be move to altcoins discussion. You can still make a good answer in that section. And just in case you need a real data then try starting a thread with a poll so tha it will be easier for you to gather the data needed. You can separate the poll in different thread to get the best answer and data.

Well the upgrade has done so much with thr people believing in eth coin. But for most investors now is focus on the market price movement for bitcoin. We do not know what will going to happen in the market but high chance that ETH can go ATH instead of bitcoin. Whales can move their funds to ETH instead if they want. It will all depend on whales and that we should be extra observant with how the crypto market moves. Anywa, this is really a good news to ETH and hopefully you are right when you say ETH can go up to 1k$.

Whales can less focus on pumping altcoins compared to bitcoin. They can pump altcoins easily though but when it comes to good investment it is bitcoin is their primarily concern to earn. Other altcoins whom pump up by whales are those establish coins or coins made some hype like the uniswap, chainlink and other establish altcoins as well. But this is risky in their part too because these altcoins has no high assurance of getting your money back like to what happen with the xrp. Ath recorded for xrp was 4$ per xrp and now the current price is less than 1$ so buying coins like this cannot help you profit unless you know and familiar with telegram channel with good signal to predict market movement.

Yes, earning merit is tough task and even if you think you have quality post still not a guarantee that you can receive it because giving off merits is a discretion of a member and not really an obligaton even merit source are also members here that have discretion on how they award the merits. So, just keep up on what you are doing which you think yo were helping or not. It is not already the essence of receiving merit instead it is the essense on how helpful you are in the forum.

That might be convincing OP but we  cannot force the investors to hold their bitcoin just because bitcoin is a good asset or reserve money especially for those people with huge bitcoin investments. They are seeing bitcoin like this and it can't help when you say that bitcoin is something that could be more valuable in the future as time goes by for an investor usually think about profit and that by selling their bitcoin anytime soon it can happen.

If you are new in bitcoin then yes it is a new form of investment like an  asset or gold but FYI bitcoin is already more than 10 years old so I would not likely to say if people investing in bitcoin for more than 10 years. Anyway, if it happen that this form of investment had made you profit then that would be good but still you need to be careful and not to get emotional when things gone bad like market crashing for that is part of the bitcoin investment havinf bad and good market. Just take an advantage to it instead.

Ripple still did not able to break the record of their ATH at the year 2017 where they are reaching to 4$ per xrp. That was really good compared to the current market price. This is the problem because many are still did not able to recover their losses and still holding the funds. This is the problem with this coin and I think many are still losing their money compared than earning profit. I think to those new who were investing XRP at the price of 0.25$ then I believe their investment were doubled already.

Nothing safe with those projects that are launching. All investments are risky not even those project they called that are stable like real estate or gold investments. All has its own risk and I believe that ICO projects are two times risky than any other investments. Wishing it how to be safe is difficult and could not be achieve unless someone that has the authority to do so will be looking and implementing a way to change and making ICO investment safe.

I am using VPN not because I wanted to keep my privacy while browsing or surfing nor also that our country does not support the cryptocurrency or cryptocurrency is being ban. I used VPN because I wanted to bypass the prepaid load promo to which its data that is intended for facebook and messenger only could be converted to a regular data for browsing in the different sites.

But yes VPN is very effective when you do not wanted to get notice from any platform that ban users specifically to certain countries. They might not able to trace you where you came from but you must be careful not to be caught for if you do then they can suspend your account.

Then all should be seeing this post and get cautious to every fake giveaways and other related activities. This somewhat an obvious scam. However, there are scam that I'm afraid that it could be difficult to trace or identify. Most likely are those phishing sites that are actually uniquely copied from the original one. I think this is the main reason for the unnoticed hack or transfer of funds (crypto funds). Some users are actually not cautious in every site they visit or even being victim by a malware they dowloaded or accidentally click.

Of course the world of technology is different compared to the traditional or old system where fiat currency does involve.

Surely there are many things to get through and this digital currency is new especially to those who are not updated with the new trends. There are many things that can get confuse with the new comers of this digital currency technology. These are some technical terms that cannot be easily understand.

What account could it be? Is from a digital wallet account? or coming from a company created by them in which you will provide the wallet and then transfer bitcoins in your account as to give it as a retirement benefits? It would be applicable but not to all. We know that others value fiat compare to bitcoin because fiat has stable value and are ready for spending while bitcoin is a asset with high volatile value and should only meant for holding not unless the market grows and ready to sell it.

Profit does mean to enjoy it because you cannot call it profit when it will just sit there and will not be used. N my own opinion profit is for spending or it could be save for future expenses. Well, cryptocurrency grows so fast and this has been observed by other companies and wishing to get sales from these events. Since there is a huge money flows in cryptocurrency, a business minded individuals or owners of a certain certainly should decide whether to adapt on it or not to make more sales also in their business. Hence, joining cryptocurrency integrating it to their business is jot really a bad idea and  I see more and more companies will.be joining cryptocurrency soon.

Printing more money will not lift the economy instead it will deplete the value of the economy and to lessen the capacity of money to buy. The value of money or fiat currency is base on the value of the economy of a certain country. If the economy of the country grows then we cqn expect the value of money and the capacity of the money to buy or exchange is high also. Printing more money will only resort to high inflation rate and that is what usually happen to a country with more fiat money circulated. China fiat is one example with low amount or value but high supply. However, china is not a poor country and it is the opposite where china hold much power compare to other countries.
