201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you day trade or prefer a long term hold? on: March 13, 2018, 11:50:01 PM
I think holding would be a better idea if you are busy with your job, etc. and don't have much time for doing cryptocurrency trading. Long term investments in good coins such as bitcoins/ethereum can be profitable as well as less time consuming. If you want to do day trading, make sure you are:-

1. Having enough time for checking the crypto market regularly for looking at the prices, etc.
2. Have enough knowledge about cryptocurrencies as it is essential for doing crypticurrency trading.
3.  Having some extra money which you can afford to lose as trading might have a little bit of risk as the market might crash.,
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When your token goes down hard, are you going to sell it? on: March 06, 2018, 10:38:59 PM
I generally not selling the tokens or coins i have that haveing an down dip i just wait and hold till you can re-enter or just sell a stake to continue your venture in other projects.

Just looking for the safest and trustable project to invest your money in, there is an saturated market of newcoming bad tokens and this year will be more and more..
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest or bounty? on: March 06, 2018, 10:28:48 PM
I think bounties are interesting and i believe they are reliable investments too. If you get the chance or the opportunity to join or
participate in bounties with promising potentials, you might profit more in the future or months to come.

A bounty which usually is commonly associated with ICOs through several various campaigns of some sort on different social media platforms.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes an altcoin valueable? on: March 06, 2018, 10:27:16 PM
What makes an altcoin valuable is the concept of the project. The more useful it is to the community the more interesting it becomes. It becomes useful if it can solve problems of the day to day transactions. Second, the people behind the project.
Trustworthy people, especially with expertise in cryptos gives a big impact to the investors. Last is the promotions-giving mainstream information, the way it was given is really a plus.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Girls in the world of crypto currency on: March 06, 2018, 10:23:06 PM
I think that this stuff is more of a man thing. Men are generally more inclined into searching for ways to earn through investments such as this system. Women are more domestic minded in nature. They would usually browse the net to check social medias or watch videos on YouTube. Cheesy

Not so much for the purpose of earning but for entertainment. Now this is not surprising since it is more expected from men to find ways to earn to support their families. I guess that's why there are more men in crypto currencies than women...
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who uses myetherwallet? on: March 06, 2018, 10:20:55 PM
I am not a security expert so I don't know if there are flaws dealing with data using their service but I really really like that they are not storing your wallet files.  You can keep that on a thumb drive and use MEW to access your wallet sort of like an interface.

This atleast prevents hackers from hacking into and stealing large amounts of wallet keys...
I am curious though, and this is somewhat answered in this thread, but what other security issues are there with this approach?
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 seems like a good year for ALTCOIN on: March 06, 2018, 10:10:47 PM
There has been many good altcoins out there, and there will be more and more ICOs month by month.
I am sure some of these projects will become really big in 2018.

I think more and more people are interested in other blockchain projects aside from bitcoin.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest now or wait? on: March 06, 2018, 09:43:17 PM
Invest now, you can later wait until its price increase more than your prior investment. But if you are really a careful investor then try to wait for the price of the coin you prefer to fall down before buying it, specially since altcoins value are much slower to increase compared to bitcoin.

At the moment Bitcoin is showing the new rise. Good news, really! Some days before the best time for buying Bitcoins was. You can try to get some coins for the moderate price yet  and get the profits further!
Anyway for long holding (1-2 years) you will get amazing results!
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins future on: March 06, 2018, 09:16:08 PM
Yes, some Altcoins will have no future because there are lot of altcoins to choose for investments in which only those altcoins that have unique commodities to back up their coins will surely continue to compete in the markets but for those altcoins with less qualities thru their products for sure will going to be crap or superseded in the future.

ETH is the most commonly used platform in the ICO so for sure this Altcoin will going to last Smiley
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Strategy to invest in crypto ? on: March 06, 2018, 08:20:06 PM
Most of the times when I invest in coin I invest for long term and till now I am very successful in doing that. I purchased Ethereum when it was 11$ and Bitcoin when it was 700$ and I am still holding them sometimes I sell them when it goes high and buy them back when it comes down for the correction.

and I am enjoying this like this my portfolio is also increasing and I am getting good profit also by doing this.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum TO $400 AGAIN on: March 06, 2018, 08:18:37 PM
If that happened I will buy Ethereum immediately since we are ever going to see Ethereum at that price again which is a shame because I'm not really holding that much Ethereum so I suppose I will have to try to hold new coins like waves or NEO

I really don't think Ethereum will be drop again 50% from it's current price value but instead it will soon rise and will never touch back down to around $400 or less.
Ethereum is always Bitcoin's tail in terms of Crypto Market cap value.

Ethereum will soon hit the mark of $2,000 before 3rd quarter and probably hit $5,000 before the end of the year Wink
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: possibilities for crypto on: March 06, 2018, 07:40:00 PM
The most important thing for bitcoin is the mass adoption. If most people use bitcoin and blockchain governments will need to legalize it.

This is why we are solving one of the worlds biggest issues like the average user shouldn't need to understand what the blockchain is or how it works, they need to use it to better their lives, just like cars, the internet etc.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Is Really A Good Investment or Not? on: March 06, 2018, 07:34:27 PM
ICOs are good investments because you can get good profit if you are in a solid project. Especially if you are in ICOs during the private presale stage, i.e. you get in in the best price available in public - which means it is profitable for you whether you are in the project for the short term or the long term.

Is a very good type of earnings, you just have to approach investment carefully and attentively study the team and business plan of the project.
Recently, several fraudulent ICO projects have deceived investors and stole money...
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is 1ETH=$10,000 worth the possibility? on: March 04, 2018, 11:43:43 PM
It's very possible that ETH will reach $10,000 and there's a rumor that the government wants ETH to be use as Smart Contract Using their ERC-20. It's a good sign that ETH will be worth 10,000 usd it may surpass marketcap of bitcoin by the next few months..

So its really possible for a coin to reach a price that we think its impossible to break. But the big question is when will it touch it? Well, it could be next month or the next couple of years. No one can say for certain.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: March 04, 2018, 11:25:05 PM
Yes,....Because I believe that Altcoins are the critical factors behind the success of BTC itself....Imagine the Crypto world with only BTC.... in these 'dump' periods (because of any global news for example); people would go out of the crypto world completely (back to FIAT) & it would be a long process for some of them to get back in...

I know that the BTC & the majority of Alts are highly related ,but again; sometimes they're like crypto backups for BTC
216  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with loss? on: February 28, 2018, 04:33:40 AM
I dont or at least I try not to. If I'm in loss I usually hold until I can sell for a profit. For example I'm still holding my sia coin and hopefully one day I will be bake to sell for a profit however things aren't looking too good right now. And of you do make a loss just move on, there's no point to be mad.

I think this technique may not work as well as it is serving in your case. I think it is something which demands you to remain calm and cool no matter what the circumstances are..
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you day trade or prefer a long term hold? on: February 28, 2018, 04:29:42 AM
I sometimes prefer long-term holding instead of day trading. As my account value is not very high and steady income possible only in the long term.

Also for day trade, you must be very active in crypto market and should be with enough research on the coins value to get the most deserving profits.
The market is too unpredictable. also I can say that than period shorter, the more then market is unpredictable. Therefore, I prefer to work long-term, in this case the chances of success are higher
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When do you know its time to sell your altcoins? on: February 28, 2018, 04:15:37 AM
Its depend but generally its your own decision when to sell your altcoins. No one can decide but you.
But one thing bear in mind that most altcoins lose their price over time. They simply bleed their value away slowly and sometimes rapidly. Take this into account when holding altcoins for the medium and long term, and of course choose them carefully. What kind of altcoins are recommended for the long term?

Remember, this is only when there is a reason for making a trade. The coins that have a higher daily trading volume and which have a widespread community behind them, and with continuous development. Smiley
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes a altcoin valuable on: February 28, 2018, 04:05:51 AM
Altcoin becomes valuable once it is listed in an exchange like etherdelta, yobit and kraken.  It has a successful token sale and continue to gain acceptance from the public.  It is following its roadmap and has continually meets the requirement in the exchange in order not to be delisted Wink

Others value/perceived value due to their utility and limited supply, and price is often tied to supply/demand. Supply/Demand is a simple economic factor that affects the price of many things. In some countries Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies is classed as an asset, in others as a currency. Bitcoin, for example has a maximum of 21 million whole units, divisible 100 million times. With over 7 billion people on the planet, if even 1 billion were to adopt Bitcoin, 21 million whole units would not spread very far without a significant price tag.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Roadmap VS Quality on: February 28, 2018, 04:02:25 AM
That is a tough question. Quality is of course the most important thing in my opinion, but there is no such thing as perfection. So if you keep searching for it, there are chances that you will never end up delivering anything, and the ideas get lost.

For me it's better for the team to make reasonable delay and they deliver the perfect form of the project. They must let the the investor know what is the development progress of the project step by step though.By delivering the perfect form of the project.
