1  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tips for first-time buyers?! on: September 19, 2017, 06:18:05 AM
NEWBIE HERE!!

Looking for some help with making first-time btc buys using PayPal/cc. I'm not sure where to buy from and the whole process seems pretty complex and overbearing, is Coinbase a good place to start? if not, can somebody please point me in the right direction? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Seriously, thank you.
P.S. Apologies for the high level of a novice in these questions.

Thanks again to anybody willing to help!

If anyone sells you BTC via paypal they're the newbie.  You can reverse paypal transactions but you can't reverse bitcoin transactions.

Where will crypto be in the future?
Of course, I don’t have a crystal ball, but for me Bitcoin -
with capital B, or the technology behind it: the blockchain
- will have a prosperous future.
Its importance goes far beyond bitcoin and payment
transactions as this is just one - and the most banal - of
its application.

Totally agree.  ICOs are where it's going.  Or rather what they're saying they will do is where it's going.  Applications that take over the world with blockchain tech behind them.

As a newbie I am very curious and excited of the things that we need to do. That's why we need to know the Do's and dont's.

Just participate.  If you know the answer, answer.  If you have a question ask it.  Simple as that.

Hi, I'm still here Smiley

I've been busy with life since I'm setting up a new business in real life too. Sorry for the lack of updates, however the coin is still being worked on and of course interest payments are being paid out without my intervention. Smiley
Been having internet connection issues too. Those should be resolved soon, apologies once again.

I'm not too concerned about the lack of interest in this coin just yet, this is still very early stages and a comeback will be due soon once I finally get an update pushed out Smiley

Thanks

Glad to see you are still hard at work behind the scenes.  Some of us, including myself, have been doing our best to promote the coin as well.  Many people out there still looking for a viable alternative to BTC, they just need a little more encouragement before they jump on the band wagon.

Keep up the good work and you will reap what you sow eventually!
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SPC][PoF] SaveCoin | Proof of Fund Coin | 64% Interest Annually / 0.137% Daily on: April 29, 2014, 03:21:21 AM
At the end of the day, once the issue of the name of the coin is resolved so as to avoid confusion with inferior coins, this coin will be a keeper.  I have received my interest payment from the very first day that I created my wallet and accumulated some coins.  The interest payment is credited every day like clock work at around the same time of day everyday.

I'm torn by the lack of liquidity available for purchase, which in actuality is a double-edged sword.  On the one hand, I would love to accumulate as many coins as possible at the most attractive prices, while on the other hand the lack of liquidity can only help the coin increase in value as demand eventually starts to increase.

I have a hunch that the demand will outpace supply in the very near future, but of course only time will tell.

In any event, I am a holder, an accumulator, and obviously a strong supporter of both the developer and the coin itself.

Go SPC!

I really do love this coin.

First of all, the creator is a real person who is up front and honest in his communication with you.

Secondly, the software works fantastically.

Lastly, about the concept itself, what I love is the interest payment component, because it is incentive to use it like a true bank savings account and I also love the mining capabilities of the software.  That's wonderful innovation.

My address for receiving is:

Thank you for your efforts.

Today's Pick of the Day was Virginia (-4.5) @ Clemson and it paid out 1.877 units.

We are now 10 - 4 on the month.

It's still early in the day, so the first 10 people who email us at abitbetter247@gmail.com will receive a bonus pick for later today at no charge.  No restrictions, everyone including existing subscribers are welcomed!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Today's Pick of the Day was NCAAB SMU (-6.5) @ Rutgers which paid out 1.840 units.

We are now 9 - 4 for the month of February, including a much ranted about 3 day losing streak.

Who knows, we may lose 6 in a row someday, but longer term we are profitable month after month and we generate monthly positive returns on your investment.  Nothing more, nothing less.

Email abitbetter247@gmail.com to find out more.

Holy @#$%, who is doing this?  We are not "andhoe" and we did not post that last comment.  That was not the Pick of the Day, the game is still in progress.
16  Economy / Gambling / Re: abitbetter247 - Wager like a business professional not a gambler on: February 15, 2014, 12:25:16 AM
We have no idea who "wewen" is but we did not post the previous comment.
Today's Pick of the Day game is already in progress.

We also have no idea who the disgruntled "quone17" is who keeps bashing us.

Yesterday's Pick of the Day was NCAAB Utah (-4) @ USC which paid 1.900.

We are now 8 - 4 in February with 1 postponed game due to inclement weather.

We are working towards another highly profitable month.

Yes, we lost 3 in a row 3 times over the past 2 months...that's 9 losses over a short period of time.  Despite those losses, both December and January were nicely profitable months for our long-term subscribers.

By the way, in those same 2 months we won 6 in a row once, 4 in a row once, and 3 in a row 6 times.  That's 28 wins, which far outweigh those 9 losses that keep being brought up...but nobody ever mentions the positives...that's just the nature of the business.

Yes, it is OUR business...email us at abitbetter247@gmail.com and we will be happy to answer for you all of your questions.  Our goal is to provide you the best INVESTMENT advice possible over the longer term.

If you are a short term gambler or thrill seeker trying to get rich quick, WE CAN'T HELP YOU.
18  Economy / Gambling / Re: abitbetter247 - Wager like a business professional not a gambler on: February 13, 2014, 04:35:35 AM
Today's Pick of the Day was NCAAB Duke @ North Carolina which was postponed due to inclement weather.

We are 7 - 4 over the first 12 days of February.

Bearing in mind that our business plan is based on sound investment strategies sustainable over the long term, the following quote from Warren Buffett is most appropriate: "I'd rather make 15% lumpy than 12% smooth".

Loosely translated for sports wagering purposes, this means that we would rather incur the odd ugly looking losing streak from time to time but cash in big on our winners than have a better looking win / loss curve that yields lower returns.

We generate positive monthly returns on investment month or month.

Email us at abitbetter247@gmail.com to find out more about our service and see for yourself why subscribers with long-term outlooks on profitability stick with our service.

Our apologies to our subscribers and to all other serious investors but it seems like our forum has been overrun by a couple of temper tantrum throwing twelve year olds who may have lost all of their lunch money on one of our picks.

We're 6 - 3 so far in February.  We're not satisfied but we're happy with the pace as we remain on target to meet our February objective.
