When it will be possible to use stratum?

Thats not really a big issue for GPUs.

DiabloMiner refuses to start with new Catalyst 13.4 (CGMiner with diablo kernel still works fine)
Log: http://pastebin.com/vgQtx08E

Sounds like a driver bug. What Radeon do you have?

I have HD7950
With Catalyst 13.1 DiabloMiner works fine, but 13.4 causes this issue. It seems that in 13.4 OpenCL is integrated in driver package and installs automatically. No more "OpenCL.msi" packages. And it causes some problems with mining software. I don't know if this experimental feature, or will be standart in all new catalyst drivers.
However, CGMiner and Reaper still works fine for me with 13.4.

NEVER install the OpenCL SDK, it is often the source of breakage.

AM dividends are, DMC dividends are monthly.
How about the dividends for May?

Hurray! The forums are back! Maybe I can do dividends now.

127  Economy / Auctions / Re: ASICMINER Auction: 50 Block Erupter Blades CHECK OP FOR PAYMENT on: May 01, 2013, 04:56:19 AM
For PSU you probably want the NXZT Hale 90. Its really a Superflower OEM enterprise-grade PSU that has a beefed up fan. Its the only PSU on the market thats any good anymore, now that OCZ bought PC Power and fucked up all their products (I miss the original Silencer).

BTW, as for amperage per pin on various connectors, you want to read this: http://www.playtool.com/pages/psuconnectors/connectors.html

Efficiency was close to zero with an Avalon mining stratum on p2pool.
Odd and worrying: you are not the only one having tried mining on p2pool with Avalons. I don't follow it closely (forums are not really the best for bug reports, I have to work from memory and I'm on painkillers right now...) but I know people have managed to bring Avalons at least in the 50-75% efficiency range right from the beginning and made progress from this point (maybe not with stratum).

I suspect there's at least one Avalon user on P2Pool for quite some time now which uses it without apparent problems given his payouts (185Kip6odGYs4eSHD6DYsWVDJBg2DNLfiV since 2013-09-04 with an effective ~65GH/s hashrate).

It was a bug in Avalon's fork of cgminer, which Avalon refused to fix.

forrest, the guy who wrote p2pool, ended up fixing it on his end which isn't an appropriate way of fixing it. Avalon users mine on p2pool fine now.

He should be blacklisted as a hardware day trader, he had NO intention of completing and was looking for another buyer to pawn them off immediately afterwards. I don't believe he had any funds, or access to funds to complete without an immediate sale and I was forced to cock block to prevent this atrocious behaviour.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=191149.0;all

I had the full intention but was not given the means to pay immediately.

WinVery should be blacklisted for this comment, and for bidding for something he had no funds to cover.  It's pretty obvious that he bid knowing that he could run up the price later.  The problem was he was an ass about it.  Boycott his gambling site too.  Screw him.

I bid with the intention to immediately pay.

I'll bite.  Signed wallet address showing an amount of 105BTC or greater please.

Here's what happened - you placed a bid with the only way you could pay is if someone bought immediately  from you.  When that fell through, you backed out.  I would hope anyone reading this would think twice about going to your gambling site.  I'm sure that's legit too.  Roll Eyes

If thats what he did, he needs to be scammer tagged immediately.

So ASICMINER don't have secondary pool in case 1st pool went offline Huh. Isn't that like.... easy to setup or something?
We are switching to solo mode since we could not find enough pools having stable connection from China to distribute the hashpower.

The solo solution is being tested/done along with the deployment. The only problem is transparency. We plan to do it with writing information to the coinbase transaction to let everyone check.

You should consider p2pool instead of solo. Your traffic stays local like solo, but your variance is decreased like it would be on a pool.
131  Economy / Auctions / Re: ASICMINER Auction: 50 Block Erupter Blades AUCTION OVER!!! on: April 29, 2013, 08:32:05 PM
So what are people planning to power these with? I was thinking of getting a beefy laptop adapter and cutting the end off, but I'm not entirely sure how to wire it - all the cases I've seen seem to have something different.

Just get a normal PSU and buy molex splitters and cut the 12v wire off the split ends (leave the 5v safely attached).

Auction of 50 Blades brought in approx. 2578 BTC.  Cool

Approximately 0.006445 per share, or 6.445 BTC per thousand shares.

Is that with the labor, materials, etc. factored in?

Its without S&H factored in, the rest was already paid for.
