Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 4.2c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux)

For some reason, about 90% of the time i get incorrect shares after the dev fee switch is over, and it continues to create incorrects on other gpus until i restart the miner. But 10% of time it runs perfect after the dev switch with no incorrects. This wouldnt be an issue but when i get these incorrects my effective hashrate drops 20% and stays that low until i restart the miner. Any idea how to fix this ? (this does not happen in claymore )
I see same problem on my 2GPUs: when miner creating new DAG files for mining devfee on another pool and switching back to my coin and pool its happenning. I even deleted file epools.txt (saw an advise here), but problem is still exist. WIN10x64 Catalyst 19.4.3. RX470&480 8Gb. Agree, same for me and only on some RIG´s. Hopefully thatcan be fixed soon

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v14.5 (Windows/Linux)

Hey Mister Claymore, good job on picking up the slack on the miner now that profitability is going up again Two suggestions: 1) clean up the OP (and the miner): there's a lot of irrelevant legacy stuff there now. Nobody dual-mines DCR or SIA with GPUs anymore. When you have time, I think it would be good to get rid of some of the clag. 2) (unless I missed it) you should enable VBK and/or other more relevant dual-mining coins/algos. Thx Dual Mining of VBK would be awesome! I saw in other Forums user, who say it is currently also possible to run the Claymore Miner and another separat Veriblock Miner to Dual Mine this way but I never check/confirm it by myself. Any experience here?

This project starts a few weeks ago and does already set standards what UI should look like. The GUI will be also available for GRIN, so don’t forget that.
The focus of BitGrin is totally different as GRINs and that is clear when you dive deeper in the ideas behind the two Coins. There is no need to be destructive here.
The market will decide what will be the best implementation of MimbleWhimble, but please also consider, that GRINs focus is more on digital cash while BitGrin is digital gold.
Same technology but not the same goal!

funny supporters for a coin which is just a copy of grin lol
BitGrin is a fork from GRIN, right! But would a copy not do the same as the orgignal? Exactly, we don´t do the same, thats why we forked. Hopefully you see with the amazing GUI wallet (you should relly try it out) that one of our Goals is the easiest and best user expierence while using MimbleWhimble tech. GRIN has a total other approach while they focus on their tech users. I dont wont to dive deeper in the economic topic - if you follow the price of GRIN you know what i mean. Inflation is eating value. I hope you can find some time and look deeper into BitGrin, that will change your mind! grin was never meant to be a store of value. It was designed for a purpose to be an alternative to fiat cash and current price is not indicative of its true potential as one day i am sure grin will set a standard. On the other hand bitgrin forked with the same code and has a fixed supply. Big deal??? It has a wallet now and i can see that. But my question is, aren't there already coins like that ? beam for example is far superior than this copy cat. A sane person will hold beam instead of this copy if he really want to hold. Grin brought new tech to the table and is unique. But what did bitgrin bring tell me. Hello reoparker, thanks at first for your reply. Your argue line shows me cleary, that you dont have looked deeper into the idea of BitGrin and come here most likely to spread negative vibrations :-) Bitgrin is a lot more than a fork with a fixed supply but i don´t want to do your homework to research facts if you are realy interessted in this. So i recommend to you, if you are realy interested in this Project, to take your time, brew a coffee or Tee and join our Discord and Telegram Channel. Scroll back and read from the begining about the idea and what its all about. There are so many amazing things to come.

the new gui wallet will come into next 2 days. Hashrate is slowly increasing looks like a few good people saw it as a good project
this point is a temporary interest simply because a couple of sites that compare new projects gave a good rating. the project is interesting but the developers are clearly not the best level when compared with the same grin or beam projects. when will you add exchanges? What makes you sure to say that the developers are not high level? Do you know the BitGrin/Grin/Beam developers and can compare/judge them?

Hey Doc,
i am just playing around with the Heavy Types an see, that the most speed increase is in the RX570ies.
But what is the concret Problem with the Hardware errors? is every HWR a Share which is not send to the Pool? I want to calculate the decrease in real Hashrate with it.
When i get with Heavy Mode 3 around 90H/s more in total for a RIG and i got 3 HWR. Is it worth it to use it?
Those are not hw errors, those are compute errors which means the gpu returned a wrong result, it did not pass the validation on the cpu. those shares are not sent to the pool of course because they would be rejected. You get 3 compute errors in 1hr, 12hr , 24hr ? If 24hr then its not much imo. 3 errors in 1 Hours. Is my Calculation about it right? When these are 2,75% of the total shares and the increase in Mode 3 is around 1,75% it is not worth to use it, right?

Hey Doc,
- will the different Heavy Mode (1-3) effect only 8GB or also 4GB Versions Cards? - when will Stellite fork approximately?
Why don't you try and see for yourself ? It should have effect on both cards. IDK about Stellite fork because they still don't know, and don't have a date yet. Yeah, of course i will do it! But i am currently on the road and want to calculate how many of my Cards in my Farm could be effected :-) Last Time, with Version 1.7.2 i think there was no difference in the 3 Versions or have i done a failure? Can i put it also on top of the config File where the General stuff for all Cards are or have i to do it in the line for each card where i set intensitiy for each card etc???

Hey Doc,
i have a quick Question about the Devfee.
I am currently testing the Cryptonight Profit Switcher, Version 6.0.0. The Profit Switching closes the Miner complete and restart it when a Algo/Coin Switch accure.
Question: What is is this case with the DevFee? Do i have to "pay" it with every new Miner Start or do you have done some Modifications for this case that it is stored that this Miner has already paid the Fee?
THX Oliver
