I love the Bitcoin symbol. I think it's great that people come up with designs for these coins for free.

Yes it takes forever and so frustrating to send BTC from one exchange to another and have to worry about them losing 10% of their value in transit.  It can definitely happen and could lose 20% in an hour or whatever.   I try to wait until the chart shows a nice slow uptrend...too much volatility and I just wait.

Well it is a gamble because you din't know if BTC will be at $100 next month or $200 or $40 or $20.  Some people think it could never go back to $20 but it is very possible.  But if you buy and it starts to tank on you, just sell before it gets too bad, just like with the stock market.
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Im Buying XRP Ripple coins! on: May 05, 2013, 09:03:34 PM
Ripples have a lot of potential. I think people are buying them because they have appreciated in value a great deal recently. I mean a crazy amount.   I have gotten back on here and looks like I qualify for the giveaway so probably going to sign up for that soon.  Check it out if you qualify.

It takes awhile to get up and running with BTC but it's fascinating once you read enough about it. I know that GPU mining is better but will be marginalized somewhat by ASICs, which will take over.
