1  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Could Bitcoin eliminate spam forever? on: January 17, 2014, 07:43:05 PM
This is a gamble, people will lose tons of coins, snitches, mistaken emails as spam is not even 100% eliminated in this process, guys even today good mails go junk and not seen, even the email owner might not even notice because he is too busy checking on mails that was not send to spam or marked spam by the system, and there goes your coin..
2  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Wallet Boss - Supports All Coins on: January 15, 2014, 09:25:32 PM

4  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Untouchable, invisible, scam proof bitcoin exchange service - prove me wrong on: January 15, 2014, 09:21:48 PM
I have a post of this service i offer, so far i have paid for things online for about 6 members on this forum, i have had situations where we argue who goes first, pay and i send you bitcoin, or i usually say "send me bitcoin then i will pay for you" this always depend on the person buying, its a Hero member or an old timer with good rep on the site surely i will go first, here is my point to yours, here you have two people on the rope,

First person: Sends Bitocin
Second person: Pays bill
====================
The two is on the hook, and at your mercy, before you say its fool proof
make sure users have access to their funds, for example like localbitcoins.com, once two parties agree then your fund is released and everybody win.
The site looks more like a classified website, i don't say its bad! it looks good, but other things should be added to gain confidence..
5  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Where to get investments? on: January 15, 2014, 09:06:45 PM
topless ladies rolling dice for a gambling site. That's a really good idea! I'm in, where do I put my money?

Yea, it does exist though, some Chinese underground casino website has that..

9  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Where to get investments? on: January 15, 2014, 08:18:27 PM
So basically I have an idea for a bitcoin based gambling site. How shall I go about getting investors interested? I would probably only need around 3-5BTC to get it going. I was thinking of creating a loan thread but I honestly have no collateral. I am just confident in my heart that my site will have what it takes.

Any advice? Thanks.

If you're interested in hearing more about my idea please PM me.

Newbie looking for loan=Sounds wrong
2.) Your not the fist person who ever taught a gambling website is the greatest idea there is a'lot already, if you have read enough more posts here you should have seen them..

3.) What investors will invest, what do you have to offer? A  real gambling casino in Peru, with an online site too? or live topless ladies rolling the dice for us to attract tons of customers? If his is what you wanna do then 3-5 BTC wont even rent a building.. IMO
10  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Buying VS Bra with Bitcoin Donations NSFW [edited] on: January 15, 2014, 08:12:19 PM
Well people criticize here too much, people who don't actually see bitcoin as a currency criticize very much, its ok to talk about the design but ita wrong to complain about it, for those complaining! anyways i like the  fact everyone wants to accept bitcoin for some goods and services i don't care if someone sells sex toys for bitcoin it actually brings publicity to bitcoin, so whatever anyone wants to sell i guess all bitcoin users should support if they actually need that product, for instance you can buy this for your girl friend instead of using your credit card and buying the same exact thing online... We have to grow out of thinking bitcoin is an investment to hold back and only wait for the BOOM!
11  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Detailed idea on Bitcoin vending machines on: January 14, 2014, 04:11:19 PM
$4000 isn't exactly a lot of money for a serious investor in a new business. And besides, you can usually get them cheaper if you buy them in bulk.

Vending machines are not exactly top of the line technology, and if you accept bitcoin you won't even need any kind of money accepting and storing mechanisms. So they'd actually be cheaper.

It also depends on if you need your vending machine to also keep your products cool or not. Obviously a vending machine that sells candy would be much cheaper, since candy in general doesn't need to be cooled.

Some machines can go for as little as a couple of $100s

Anyways your point is correct, i have made contact and they are actually implementing bitcoin payment right now and this will be ready in a week, i was thinking it will be best to sell this back to the community, so other bitcoin investors can actually own it and install it around their place.. The price factor you  all is correct i checked out and actually found that i can easily get for 1200$ and a cool one too..
12  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Could Bitcoin eliminate spam forever? on: January 14, 2014, 03:04:43 PM
Let me polish this turd a little further eh...

The interception concept is only valid with the private key, you're right, that invites malware and the likes so a good reason to not use that approach but a pending 2of3 escrow however shouldn't suffer from this issue since it wouldn't benefit the scammers.

Also I'm not saying all email must have this 'feature', just emails from external domains can optionally attach it to get put in your 'verified it's not spam' folder.  It's not gambling as you would only send these emails to people you want to read it and believe it strongly enough that they'll see why you emailed them.

If you're foolish enough to email someone with an unsolicited sales mail or speak in a tone that pisses them off they'll donate your 'postage fee' away which seems a win/win for the good guys.

Things you should consider first, how are you going to get this done?
Why do you think people needs this then the spam blockers which is actually paid to get rid of spam mails permanently
Why do money have to be involved to (gamble) coz its gambling like a bet, i put bitcoin and you put too let get this going to see who loses his.
Well, think about the rest.. Gotta do something..
13  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Could Bitcoin eliminate spam forever? on: January 14, 2014, 01:41:10 PM
Well its an amazing crap, don't get me wrong sometimes craps are amazing too.. This will lead to more SPAM, more stealing more crisis, who is trusted and who is not trusted?

Spammers and hackers will just easily intercept  people email and them cash the funds from senders account, Game over scammers win.

You send emails with money on them is not an idea, your talking about gambling without profit with your money, staff members that has left an
organisation long time already can actually cash out the fund if their email is still in existence.

Everything will be wrong with this unless you actually come up with a better plan about it.

I like ideas and i love them when they are developed, and i honestly tell you what i think and believe if you do more research and some more thinking you might get a better idea and a solution on how to make this idea better..

14  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: QR Code Coins on: January 14, 2014, 01:28:41 PM
I made these to hand out, they are cheap,
have the value on the back (in the middle of the qr code) and a qr code that links to http://realbitcoin.info/
(my side dedicated to explaining them so any one can understand)

I have made myself some with qr codes for the address, however I found that they were harder for first timers to understand.
http://realbitcoin.info/cardblancemoblie/ shows the work needed to explain adresses as oposed to just having the value printed.

Is this what you ment or did I misunderstand?

This is ok, but the amount and the qr code seems to be paper and can actually get wet!
that's some set back i guess
15  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: QR Code Coins on: January 14, 2014, 01:27:26 PM
Would it be in the realm of possibility to create a coin with a qr code on it? Like laser etched?
I am thinking it would be cool to be able to have coins like int he amounts of 5, 10, 20, 50 & 100 with their own individual qr codes.
Then have a wallet that allows me to deposit the amount associated to that coin onto that qr code.
Then you could spend them like cash.

I mean I know there are some things wrong with this like change and what not.

But I just think that paper wallets are easily destroyed, like if you left it in your pants pocket and washed it.
Where as a coin is solid.

Unless they already have these, then forget I said anything Smiley

Nice taught though, although it exists..
16  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Let's donate 10 BTC per month for the next 12 months - 2014 Coin Campaign on: January 14, 2014, 12:14:35 PM
I'd like to get together enough Bitcoiners to donate 10 BTC per month for the next 12 months. We select a different charity each month and make 2014 the year of bitcoin. I am ready to give 10 BTC for MAPS (maps.org) in January and a friend is ready to go in February. I think this can attract significant positive press attention for Bitcoin. Let's do this.

IMO why don't you donate in something that can actually make bitcoin known around the world, for ex. you can actually join in the current ATM machine installation their looking for contributors and investors so they can lunch in India and other African countries, as well i have made contact with some vendor manufactures and they have made a solution and put in a bitcoin payment method in the machine for me, you can actually order this and bring it to the public, the only idea i have is selling the machine and making profit from it as well as spread the love for bitcoin, i and you we different if i have up to 10btc to give out as donation i will do more than just donating by implementing devices that can actually be seen, and this can create attraction and more people who don't know bitcoin yet will be fascinated  to own and use bitcoins.
17  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Detailed idea on Bitcoin vending machines on: January 13, 2014, 08:20:11 PM
I share your idea bro and to be realistic i have taught about this couple of times, but here on bitcointalk you cant get anyone here to do any project people here are made up of broke bitcoin users and a'lot focus on the software and design aspect for a one time penny not all Bitpay made it very far and some-other online present bitcoin service providers but the main place to spread bitcoin out is via hardware something like this in shopping malls, even in a bar there can be section to buy beer automatically via bitcoin, just scan the the "code" and pay via bitcoin, after 1 confirmation or so order delivered this can work and people will try to figure out why we different.. Anyways i am talking to some manufacturing tech in japan on this i will keep you updated on the progress after i get a good quote, the main problem is that the machines is expensive and they have to be shipped around the world to make it heard...

What makes the vending machine expensive? It's sure not the display. Things that count bills cost up to $300 retail. What, specifically, is it?

A vending machine for food and for drinks cost way up to 4000$, unless you have another vending machine i don't know about then you will have to enlighten me..
