That's great, but why are you doubling the tokens Founders and Team receive? Meanwhile, not only you are not doubling the tokens preICO investers receive, but you are halving their value. With this action you are breaking an agreement ... not the right way to start a project which tries to solve the lack of trust in the niche. Sorry. Right the same sentences in all messages. I'm not going to change the subject, the unanswered question is simple: Why are you doubling the tokens Founders and Team receive while halving the value of preICO investor's tokens? Originally the allocation for pre-ICO contributors was of 6.3%, of which you sold about 92%, that means pre-ICO contributors accounts for a 5.8% of the total, but then you decreased that to a 1.4% |

You fudders do realize that it would benefit everyone to have a successful ico? I am baffled why do you guys want to sabotage it by throwing scam accusations?
It's not FUD, it's economics, there is no way they can collect any acceptable amount of money after what they did, their only option would be if the swap is for something near the 50%. How will any potential investor decide to put money after reading in this thread and learning about how they changed the rules after some people invested money already into their promises? If projects with awesome team and path sometimes don't get more than 1M, how can they expect something between 5 and 20? It's doomed to fail unless they start thinking of something near 50% You seriously don't see the difference of "investing" to an anonymous coin without any roadmap and investing to foundation via ico that is handled trough lawyers? Investing to a foundation via ICO that is handled though lawyers doesn't guarantee the team will deliver anything, so yeah, essentially I don't see a difference from the investors point of view (and not an anonymous coin, the team "had" a roadmap and they revealed their identities) |

Let me ask it again, if you are throwing numbers like 50% what are your numbers based on? I mean everyone in here just seem to want more without even trying to tell how would they do it.
The price per VLT when they decided to change the rules from 1:1 to 20:1 was around $1 (and it was above that for the most time since April, where it has had some volume, so where we can assume most of investors bought), with an evaluation of $5M, VLT should account for a minimum of 10% to match that price, so something around 20% would send a message of "we do care and want to protect those who believed in us in first place". If they continue with the ICO, the percentage will be a reflection of how much they care about the community, anything lower than 10% means "we are greedy as fuck and we don't give a shit about all those who supported us when we had nothing to show for", 10% to 20% means "we are greedy but understand that without you we are risking not making tons of cash" and above 20% means "we need money to make our project a reality with you" ... |

The least that can be said about me is that I do not understand the community and that I completely underestimated the intensity of the reaction. So, for my part, I believe I should get back to doing what I know: delivering value for the project.
I want to leave you with one final thought.
Imagine we deliver a working prototype with a test network that has a lightning network that is technically clearly superior to the Bitcoin LN.
Imagine we present a road map that shows that we know exactly where we are going and how to get there.
Imagine we publish a white paper that illustrates that we know what we are doing and that the approach is groundbreaking.
Imagine we sign partnerships with some of the world leading blockchain researchers.
How would that affect your perception of the situation? Of our decision?
This is our vision for the project.
I hope we will regain at least some of the trust that some of the investors have lost due to a lack of communication on our side.

Yes i guess but the anticipated dump is more like a direct punch in the face of investors, trust is the key of success, without trust vlt coin is headed to doom.
Trust will come when we publish a working platform and serious updates. Trust is lost the moment you lie once to investors, you promised a 1:1 swap and now you change it to 20:1. Ask yourself, there are too many worthwhile projects, why risk money on a tainted project and liar team? Your only option to raise any money at this point is to deliver an initial MVP, do a swap of at least 5:1 and then an ICO. |

Can anybody help me pls?  First everything worked well, but the syncing needed 15+ hours so meanwhile i tried to install a second time to start the lightwallet. After that, suddenly nothing worked anymore. I tried to install and uninstall several times, but suddenly i always get this error after a few seconds: Uncaught exception: Error: known bad

Hola @jtimon, viendo que BU tiene ahora mas hashrate que SW (parece que antpool ha pasado a soportar BU con varios de sus servidores), si BU termina obteniendo el 75% o mas del hashrate, aceptarias que esa es la opcion elegida y pasarias a desarrollar soportando y colaborando con BU? Al fin y al cabo fueron core quienes decidieron que eran los mineros los que debian votar y elegir.

All in all, an ideal figure would of been around 700BTC, however at the rate of the ICO and the time left, we are looking at hitting between 100-150BTC.
Does this mean that after the ICO the rest of the 1528000DSLK will be available at least at $1? If that's so, you should be considering burning them, the distribution leaves already too many coins on dev's hands, 944k + 584k + 944k + about 1.2M not sold from the ICO, and only about 300k in the hands of investors. This is probably the main reason why you might end up with 100-150BTC instead of the 700BTC that you were hoping for. Also, if the monthly emission is around 65971DSLK (((1+0.382)*1350*30) + 10000), being 10000DSLK of those for the budget, it means a bit more than a 15% of the monthly emission for the proposal budget, don't you think that's a bit too much? Specially compared to DASH's 10% Also, one question, the "944000DSLK as collateral for Weaver operations, running Stormnodes as a service"... who gets the reward of those Stormnodes? |
