601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][THC][1.7] The Hempcoin (THC) ✿ UPGRADED POW/POS ✿ Spread the Seeds ✿ EPIC on: January 22, 2016, 06:16:50 AM
whether these coins are still active?  Huh

THC needs some more users or supporters for sure! The network is working well. There are some supporters. It's a good cheap coin. If you're into coins that are only $5,000 marketcap then this one is probably the best choice. With 420 coming up in 3 months maybe this coin will attract some more users who will push up the marketcap when they enter. If someone wanted to store $10,000 worth of hemp profits, that the bank won't store. in this coin it would become popular very fast.

I wonder if it's possible for someone from Hempcoin to be a speaker at the 23rd Annual HIA Conference.

I was watching hempcoin before it launched. Maybe both the coin creators of THC and HMP know each other and got in a fight so they started 2 different coins.

Can you post more information about this coin or a link to a block explorer?

OMG Massive premine shown on the block explorer:
http://hmp.cryptocoinexplorer.com/block?block=4
http://hmp.cryptocoinexplorer.com/block?block=5
http://hmp.cryptocoinexplorer.com/block?block=6
http://hmp.cryptocoinexplorer.com/block?block=7
http://hmp.cryptocoinexplorer.com/block?block=8
for a total of 2.5 billion (2,500,000,000) coins premined!

Then it looks like only 1 person has been mining this coin for 150,000 blocks with a reward of 1,200 each block at difficulty 0.00049. If you count that as an instamine then that's an addition 180,000,000 coins.

That's quite the load of coins. It looks like this coin belongs more on the LTC or DOGE to HMP markets

is this the coin that just got listed on c-cex HMP or is that a poser coin

HMP is a different coin with this logo that looks like a kid made it.

This coin is known as THC on bittrex and HEMP on blockexperts. THC/HEMP uses the best logo of any cryptocoin

Did you finally decide to get rid of your stupid delisting policy? I haven't seen that delisting warning banner on any coins lately.

611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [STV] SativaCoin TAKEOVER by Altcoin.Center - New official thread! on: January 20, 2016, 04:04:11 AM

420 is coming up soon. I want to do something but have no idea what to do.

This site is cool and STV isn't listed on it. It gives a lot of information on the coins they list:

http://coinofview.com/crowdfunding/coin/Hempcoin.html

This site shows over 1,000,000 transactions and over 300,000 that weren't mined blocks! That's a lot.

Hi, if the dev or somebody who know what may be going with the faucet wallet?
I just created a new wallet and it seems the old problem is showing up again.

The balance keep showing the wrong balance again, right now about 6435.

There should be at most this much 4212 according to chain
https://www.blockexperts.com/hemp/address/HHgieKEH33VEB2gMGEKYD1PXDFBuudgKbA

I don't know what's making do that. Any help appreciated.

I had this same problem with wrong balances. I never figured it out. I was hoping to switch to a newer blockchain technology. Bitcoin tech is so hard to work with compared to Ethereum. Neither Ethereum or Bitcoin currently scale but I hear Ethereum 2.0 is coming out sometime in like 8 to 16 months and it's going to be the best thing ever.

If Ethereum 2.0 really does scale then I would think we should switch to that code base.

For now... I have no idea what to do other than just wait. Hopefully the blockchain keeps moving on without problems.

617  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: January 16, 2016, 10:56:42 PM
So cryptsy is down but my CAT trader is still showing my coin balances. Cryptostocks is down too as usual. Since trading fees went to 0 there never came another payout from Paul's shares either.

Shares in a new decentralised cryptsy sounds good to me and  bitmarshall style type software has gotta be out there already no?

we don't want no bloody cryptsy shares based on lost of earnings alone we already own that site . this is purely a criminal case of grand fraud and deception . since the day he claimed money was stolen he should have stopped all deposits and has the money is not even his in the first place but in his care he is clearly obliged to report this its not some kind of option to report or not .a thief will always say i didn't steal anything everyone knows this . big birds statements and statements /behavior of the cryptsy crew during that past 4 months shows that this has been intentional all the while . they tried the tricks they could to block people withdrawing claiming you need to verify your account . BTW that was horus pushing that verification crap . every single one of them is /are guilty until proven innocent has thats what all the evidence says. WE DO NOT WANT ANY SHARES FROM YOUR PISS OF CRAP CRYPTSY WE ONLY WANT WHAT IS OURS AND NOT YOURS.
guys stop bringing the shares in the company crap only making people more angry at this pathetic bastards that think they can help them self to peoples things and get away with. not letting any of them get away with this is my only concern don't offer no bloody silly dead shares thanks.

I will take shares if that's all they can give me back. It's better than a kick in the pants.

618  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: January 15, 2016, 09:36:25 PM

If you're only taking 2.5 BTC in fees for every 1000 BTC in volume, like bittrex, then most days bittrex is only making like $200 to $1000 USD. This is why all exchanges are insecure. That's barely enough money to hire a quality security expert. Then there are server costs, customer service costs, new development costs, etc. These exchanges are running on barely any funds.

619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] WorldCoin WDC | The Global Digital Currency on: January 15, 2016, 09:24:15 PM

Is this coin going to die along with cryptsy?

620  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: January 15, 2016, 09:22:28 PM
Fortunately I read the forum and not invest any of my btc in this fucking scam sites...
Are these the sites that destroy btc, and these the human to avoid business with in.

There isn't much different from cryptsy and any other site like mt. gox, poloniex, bittrex, cryptopia, bluetrade, c-cex, etc. The only way to securely hold users funds is in cold wallets. This would mean withdraws have to be processed by a human which would lead to higher trading fees.

The biggest problem with all exchange is the minimal trading fees. I tried to run an exchange before. It's expensive. There isn't much profits in them.

Any legit exchange should look at easy ways for users to withdraw funds easily, and further easily sweep those coins back into the exchange.
