This coin is at a floor now? I guess I will wait a bit longer. 4k seems to be as low as we get. There's still a long time before we see anything useful though. Maybe we can slip down more.
When are any of the funds going to be used?
There is no floor of the price if there is no active development of the coin. The price depends on the community interest. If there is no use of this coin, and the developers are not delivering anything useful, nobody will be interested in this coin. The floor price is 0. So the coin needs further developing. Good to hear. I will wait and try to get a fat sac of coins for 500 satoshi.

“At first glance, marijuana, binary options and digital currency appear to have no real connection to each other. But what they all have in common is their recent emergence as three investments both sellers and buyers hope it will become the ‘Next Big Thing.’ Before you consider investing, make sure you understand what these products are, their benefits, and their risks” — Gerald Rome, Colorado Securities Commissioner http://insidebitcoins.com/news/u-s-officials-warn-against-cannabis-and-bitcoin-investment/35806WAT? Gerald Rome, Colorado Securities Commissioner is having a cow and yet not one major 'scam' is specifically named. I see big potential to change how business gets done with this new product for sale. All aspects of how it is sold can be changed with blockchain tech. Beware bitcoin and cannabis, invest in DopeCoin and DOPE~!

@abvhiael I think there is a flor now in the market and I have to move my buy orders to more realistic price to get some extra SOIL. You must contact http://coinmarketcap.com/ becouse SOIL not to find there and it gives extra exposure. Is there a blockexplorer? What is the distribution scheme, how much SOIL is there and how fast growing? Thank you people dumping on me @Bittrex, if you keep dumping I buy the rest and support SOIL. I see many prospects for application and I' m very curious on the further development. This looks like a good coin and I'm wanting to buy some. The problem is it's a PoW coin. New coins dumped every day.

I also have another question, and that is what be the cheapest GPU for me to get started mining some Ether? As I'm new GPU mining (and also my budget) I would like to get started with a cheap but decent GPU to mine some Ether. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. You can probably start mining with any GPU or CPU that you already have. However some of the older GPUs may have problems because ethereum mining is memory hard and many older GPUs won't have enough memory. But if you're going to be buying a GPU, stick to AMD cards as they are significantly better than nVidia cards for mining. If you're looking for something cheap get an older AMD 7870 or 6970 GPU. You can probably find them used for ~$100 each. If you want to spend a little more get yourself an AMD 7950/7970 or an AMD R9 280x for better hash rates. Thanks for your recommendations regarding the cheapest GPUs I could buy. As I'm starting in this, I would buy a fair and used GPU, probably on ebay to start mining some Ether. This is so exciting. Even still, I have some difficulties setting up my Ether wallet (like knowing the right commands for sending and/or receiving Ether) but I will get the hang of it as soon as I finish this semester at college and then I would have more free time. If you want to get started right now today for a few $ you can rent a miner. R9 280x and r9 290x are really good if you can get one for under $200. Then you need an upgraded power supply for $40. I hear the new Intel GPU works well on Ethereum but havent tried myself.

Would it be hard to add open source map data into the blockchain and program a mapping API into this coin? Something like google maps. It doesn't have to be as good. Then users running nodes could serve the map data to users using the app.
There is this thing called a master node. They get paid extra coins. Maybe master nodes could serve the map data to run the app in a more decentralized way.

Where can I find a beginner's guide to developing my own dapps in Ethereum? I can see that Ethereum is very complicated (one of the complications is it's command line wallet) so it would take me some time to study and get used to it. I own plenty of Ether, but I'm afraid I don't know how exactly it is used for. Sorry for my ignorance, but I would like to get more into this. Google the Serpant language and it will lead you onto the right path....smile...don't get lost! Also google "Mist"...New DApps are coming out everyday....Watch the Devcon stream tonight and take some notes....there's plenty of good insight provided there. I too am a little confused as to what exactly Ethereum does and found this post helpful to some extent. I understand that Ethereum is fuel for projects, but why is it of tradable value? It has programmable language that can be used for apps, but could this not be duplicated at little cost? Is it a bird, is it a plane, or is it Supercoin? Well, Ethereum is a platform that provides decentralized turing capabilities and ether is the currency that provides the incentive to secure the chain. Ethereum and ether are not the same thing and that's why ether is traded on the markets, it's the "gas" that drives the Ethereum platform. Ethereum is an amazing new platform that's still in its early stages....I can't even imagine the innovation Ethereum will produce. It will make things possible that we've only been able to dream about....it's that large! It's an altcoin with the added feature of storing "code/language" that can be executed later. It's a really cool idea. The code is better than bitcoin but still not good enough to scale. I'm expecting myself to be bag holding this coin for like 10 years before it's something useful for billions of people.
