Hello Pyramining,

Just a quick clarification, one of my accounts has a deposit of 6.1 BTC, was a very early account. I clearly remember that it had been allocated 1.6 gh/s approximately earlier, but now when I logged in after a long time it has come down to 51kh/s Huh?. Isn't that weird, how can the mining power reduce....if this is already deployed hardware. Isnt that the logic you have used to rate the sell prices of the accounts. please provide clarifications.

thanks for all the work you been doing.
karma

I can't speak with 100% certainty, but I think it has to do with how he his allocating the new hashing power to the oldest deposits.
My largest account had 12.xx ghs before and now it has 11.5 with quite a few of my deposits having 0.0 hashing power at the moment.
Either the rest of the deposits will come on with the new hardware, or as the eldest deposits get cleared out.

Hello rd,

I got that, its understandable....but your for exaple went from 12.5 gh/s to 11.5 gh/s....mine went from 1.6gh/s approx to 51kh/s????how does the math workt here...isnt adding up...Pyramining, please shift pool. This aint helping anyone....we are just stuck....in a slow rut....get it up to speed, its not like there aren't better options. Find a good pool, unless your intention is to keep it slow..to make people sick of the whole thing and sell of their accounts...which would be a good deal for you. You have been doing good stuff..but dont spoil it with silly stuff hehe.

I am sure probably a lot, I used to see a lot of activity in Mumbai since the early times. There used to be globe with connected nodes and in India only Mumbai had a big green signal, even back in 2011. I have introduced bitcoin personally to other people who don't even come here and have made substantial investments in 2011 itself...after the first bubble.

cheers

What happened to you? You disappeared for most part of last year.
I think we chatted few times since i started this ID.

Hey ben, I know, the fact is that I am involved in hundreds of things always. Keeps me sane. I am a full time architect, product designer as well as working on Indians first 3d printed brand. + I had two kids since we last chatted.

Ok regarding holdings. 5000+ between the people I introduced it to. Mine is only decent chunk.
Aa
I still try out giveaways even small. Call it greed......all coins bought between 11 - 35.

Losses 40+ couple of times on SD and about 14 on JD.

6  Local / India / Re: btcrobot scam or real on: December 07, 2013, 02:02:44 PM
hi guys i am planning to buy btcrobot software before that i would like to know has any one already bought it?
and is it real.will i be able to make profit out of it as thay promise or is it a scam?please do advice me

Bitcoin Robot is the worlds first working Bitcoin Robot – That is a software/bot that can execute Bitcoin Trades automatically to make you profits even while you sleep

My advice is, please stay away from it....unless you are sure. I have seen a lot of negative reviews on the forums, so not sure about it.

1. Anything that says quick easy money is pretty dangerous.
2. They keep your deposits in FIAT, so basically then whats the point. Just BUY and HOLD might get you more profits. If experienced people on the forums use it then..we might be able to ask....

As I mentioned earlier via PM kathi' , I personally use cryptotrader.org. Pretty cool, but a bit of coding as well as traditional stock market knowledge might help, but its not automatic you have to work for it.

Also btc-e supports metatrader..if you know how to play the markets, it would be good.

Malayala Manorama has done a box on BTC today.

The article in English

Bitcoin: Gaining popularity in South India
Chinese central bank bans Bitcoin transactions

The digital currency Bitcoin is gaining popularity in India. Records shows that the number of people doing bitcoin transactions has increased in the last 2 weeks. Portals claim that bitcoin transaction against INR has risen to 50 transactions per day. Indian Bitcoin exchange portal buysellbitco.in ( printing typo) claims that last Monday alone they did more than 70 transactions.

It is mostly the IT professionals who are leading in the bitcoin transactions. Based on the PAN card records used for transactions, city of Bangalore leads in the volume of transaction. Cities like Chennai and Hyderabad follow closely. It is estimated that there are atleast 1000 Bitcoin users in the Bangalore city.

BTC was valued at $10 last year and this year its value has increased upto a $1000. But everyday its value shows significant fluctuations. Because of this volatility people are advised to exercise caution in BTC transactions. There is a Global Bitcoin conference scheduled on Dec 14 in Bangalore, aimed to boost the awareness of Bitcoin in India.

Meanwhile, Chinese Central bank has banned BTC related transactions. It has banned banks and other financial institutes from doing BTC transactions. Central bank says they do not recognize BTC as a currency. But individuals are free to do BTC transactions at their own risk.

Prominent Chinese Bitcoin exchange BTCChina has done more than 2 million bitcoin transactions. French Central Bank warns over Bitcoin transactions. FBI has seized 26000 Bitcoins that were used for illegal transactions.

nice jinson....
8  Local / India / Re: Any well rounded theories to curb volatility? on: December 07, 2013, 01:33:15 PM
Would be nice to know any ideas afloat on curbing the volatility of Bitcoin to FIAT prices.

A global Exchange, High volumes of traders, and stable government acceptance of bitcoin.

That has too many variables. There has to be some simpler solution.

Something built into Bitcoin, like an exchange logger that does not allow for mass fluctuations.

Regardless as to how high it climbs back, this is depressing to watch.

Well the only thing that comes to mind is a standardized exchange protocol that all exchanges can us, where in trade of bitcoin can be  done  between exchanges. This would stabilize prices to a certain extent. but trade between exchanges it self brings up  far to many hurdles than solution.

well I do not know if its legal.. I am sure exchange can not take part in any kind of trading..

reagrds
Well i am talking about trade between exchanges, like a user in exchange A get his purchase from exchange B. the exchange it self does not take part in the trade. But the inter-trading between various exchanges takes place to accommodate the best price for  sell and buyer, automatically.

Well that can surely help with volatility and manipulation...
This in fact really good idea.. But I doubt if any exchange will accept it because than they will not be able to manipulate a lot.

Regards

Price volatility rules can also be built into the protocol. Wonder how the traditional stock market or the forex markets avoid large pump and dumps.

stocks have limitations on daily growth, for example certain stocks are only allowed to grow 5% within a day, and then trading is halted. I remember a scenario where, once stock I bought for 35 INR, kept hitting the 5% everyday till it hit about 150 INR and then corrected  bit and the came back to 65 INR after that it was doing normal detail....I think it was Hindustan Paper something..this was way back in 2003..

Any form of external control or regulation is not good as well as not welcome for bitcoin as of now. Until it is evenly distributed these situations will keep occurring. We will see many more bubbles before it gets into large scale adoption. It is still a baby now. If you compare it with the trillions in the world economy, it is still a few month old baby, but sure a prodigy at that.

Hi!  I am a newbie and looking to get started mining bitcoins.  I understand I need to download a 6GB Blockchain, so I am looking to get one locally here in Pune.  I understand there is a member called Pinwheel who sells ASIC miners but I don't know how to contact him.  There is no link or contact information on his profile - maybe it is masked for me because I am new member.

Any help appreciated.

by the way I think it is about 14 GB now...

You do not need to download the blockchain for the Electrum client. Use it for now till you get the blockchain downloaded or otherwise...once done transfer or swipe your coins to an address to the client which has the blockchain....for you to feel safe.

What China has said is good for us. They do not see BTC as a currency and see it as a commodity, that is actually awesome, buying and selling goods for BTC is OK with them, but exchanging it for normal currencies requires money transmitter licences.....that is actually good...will help BTC in achieving its actual dream...

have fun with the sliders

First Crash - 32$ to 2$  - mt.gox numbers....1/16th value
Second Crash - 260$ - 54$ - mt.gox + btc24 numbers....1/5th value
Third Crash - 960$ - approximately 650$.... not fixed yet...just 1/3rd value.....the crash percentages is getting lesser....which is better

That is called re-distribution of wealth. If you thought bitcoin was just a way to make money, you are mistaken....I have survived all three crashes and I think, I will still be around for more. There will be many more bubbles before it gets into mass adoption. Use crashes  to increase your bitcoin holdings.

cheers and have fun. The present crash is nothing compared to the FIRST CRASH. also never invest more than you can lose.

have a good day...get used to it........

also regarding china, I am happy, bitcoin scares them. They have crazy capital controls...and bitcoin really proves its disruptive nature there.

19  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: CoinLogs.com - Keeps a track of every bit on: December 06, 2013, 06:53:28 AM
Hello,

I would like to introduce a new platform solely developed by me for my personal use and now i am making it public so everyone can use of it.

I wanted an mobile optimized realtime tracker of coins profile. CoinLogs was born with the investment of time around 10 hours, 8 cup of coffee and 2$ for domain registration. Coinlogs.com is hosted on Cloud VPS sponsored by Windows Azure.

URL : http://coinlogs.com/

Some features of CoinLogs. (Trust me, these are very little and i am planning to enhance it more)

  • Lovely Mobile optimized layout (Powered by bootstrap)
  • Real Time - No need to Refresh your browser.
  • Get rates with every 2 Seconds API call - (With the power of Windows Azure, CoinLogs API fetches rates from various exchanges very quickly)
  • Live/Offline ticker - (offline message displays if you are disconnected from the internet, Or coinlogs API is dead)
  • Show a bitcoin/litecoin ticker logo on your website with realtime exchange rates.
  • BTC rates provided by mtgox and LTC profile provided by BTC-e

Task currently i am working on

  • Inhouse API - Work has been done but still didn't made it for public. Users can fetch latest rates quickly. (No restrictions, everyone can make API requests every seconds)
  • More ALT coin options (I would require your sudgessions on which coins profile you want.)
  • Multi-lingual and multi currencies conversion support. (expected this week)
  • Custom tickers - You will be having option to upload your own image and exchange rates will be displayed on it.

...... etc and others hell lot of features.

For this platform i have preferred Windows Azure Virtual Server with NGINX stack. For the better availability and reach, I am setting up 3 other instances will be located at East Asia, South Asia and North US. And of-course, Azure CDN is there but I would rather prefer MAXCDN.

Anyways, i am open for any suggestions and requests. i would request everyone in this community to take the initiative to review my service and provide me your comments.

And yes, don't forget to visit CoinLogs through Mobile Device.

nice work

How Pyramining Stole My Bitcoins – Take Warning. Don’t Be The Next Victim Of This Scam

I was very disappointed when Pyramining turned out to be another scam site
Pyramining I was hoping would the legit, but the thieves are at it again
and Im sick to death of being ripped off by these mongrels so as I did with the
Raxcard Ripoff so I’m warning the world

These people need to be exposed

I joined Pyramining in August 2013, they looked to be ok so I deposited 2 BTC in
my newly formed account. At first all was good, the return was low but it was turning over
and I decided it was going to be ok so leaving it to do its thing I continued on my bitcoin study
some 3 months later I entered back into the sight to find the following screen

All my bitcoins and earnings had vanished. Another scam

If Pyramining are reading this, I would like my 2 bitcoins returned asap
or I will continue to expose what a fraud you are
my account is 1EYTmQFDe5zk83LGapr456WtJgc5FvTf8Q

Raxcard have lost an immense amount of business as The Raxcard Ripoff story
gets 30 – 60 hits per day according to my data, thats 30 – 60 people per day finding about this scam
They will be noticing the difference as Pyramining will to until 2 Bitcoins are replaced to my
BTC account that was stolen from me

Pyramining my account is 1EYTmQFDe5zk83LGapr456WtJgc5FvTf8Q

I will continue to warn the world in anyway I can
I would love to contact them but they dont even have an email, just a blog that they can
delete any comments that dont back up the image they try to trick us with, its smells of a scam

Dont Join Pyramining, They will steal your Bitcoins

Its A Scam

OK regarding your claim. You said that, you deposited about 2 bitcoins in the account right using this address......1FoqCorbDuDs64bdmUzM6sYw47LxiphatZ

But here it seems either you are lying or the blockchain is lying......

https://blockchain.info/address/1FoqCorbDuDs64bdmUzM6sYw47LxiphatZ

No money has ever been sent to that address......please give real proof...don't make a fool of yourself.
