1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CryptoDredge 0.4.0: ‎NVIDIA GPU Miner (Windows) on: June 18, 2018, 05:11:45 PM
quick review for 0.4.1

1st rig
RIG- GTX 1080 MSI Gaming X 6pc (the best performer in my collection)
Driver 391.xx
TDP 70% coreclock 130 memory 0

Algo Lyra 2z
Pool : nicehash

Miner                ccminer 2.2.5     Excavator(bundled in NH 2.0.2.4) Cryptodredge 0.4.1
hash (perGPU)            2.3MH               2.46MH                                  2.8MH
Power consumption (watt-o-meter)   690w             710w                980W
Temp                  65c                     70c                70C

2nd rig
GTX1080ti x 8 (Zotac amp) - only can afford this LOL
Driver 391.xx
TDP 70% coreclock 100 memory 0

Algo Lyra 2z
Pool : nicehash

Miner                ccminer 2.2.5     Excavator(bundled in NH 2.0.2.4) Cryptodredge 0.4.1
hash (perGPU)            2.9MH        3.1MH                          3.65MH
Power consumption (watt-o-meter)   not measure yet     not measure yet        not measure yet
Temp                    65c               70c                             70C

other issues:
 It seems when initial starting of miner, will get lot of rejection rate and slower hashrate, However after 3-4minutes hashrate increased and hasrate become as above

for lyra2rev 2 (or lyra2v2)

RIG- GTX 1080 MSI Gaming X 6pc
Driver 391.xx
TDP 70% coreclock 130 memory 0

Algo Lyra2rev2
Pool : nicehash

Miner                Cryptodredge 0.4.    Cryptodredge 0.4.1
hash (perGPU)                55MH                 56.6MH
Power consumption (watt-o-meter)   980w           980w

my verdict:
good performer. However power consumption and temp increase for lyra2z. Not power efficient anymore with this miner
Will use it. Keep the good job

Hello.

Why people reduce the memory clock ?
Maybe to gain some watts ? Or to have a better stability ?

So,
with Nicehash, 6x1080 @ 65% +0/+0 ==> 257 MH/s
with CryptoDredge, 6x1080 @ 65% +0/+0 ==> 280 MH/s

It's good but Nicehash is cool with its dashboard and statistics

Is it possible to hash with CryptoDredge using the Nicehash's Pool and to have an auto conversion ?

Your hash a bit low for 6 x 1080
Can you tell me your brand of gpu, and msi AB setting?

I stopped using teamviewer because it caused too many stability issues with mining (even before this miner become available), so i switched to other remote control app and no more problems.

what remote program you use sir?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CryptoDredge 0.4.0: ‎NVIDIA GPU Miner (Windows) on: June 12, 2018, 03:58:43 PM
My testing
OS :windows 10
driver 397

all GPU TDP 70%, cclock +100 , memory 0

algo lyra2rev2 , pool NH

GTX1080ti: excavator 66MH-->cryptodredge 72MH
GTX1080: Excavator 50MH-->cryptodredge 55MH
GTX1070ti:Excavator 44MH-->cryptodredge 49MH
GTX1050ti:Excavator 14MH-->cryptodredge 15MH

problem detected: sometimes miner will hang if you try to access PC with teamviewer. Make sure it run first then close your teamviewer and then dont try to log in anymore!
some gtx1080 cannot run this.error appeared. Maybe i will try to reduce intensity but currently i am busy to rectify it so for rig that cannot use cryptodredge I will stick to excavator

overall comment : Very nice! currently using it

I HAVE DONE SOME EXPERIMENT:

to avoid your rig crash while using this meds (if you are a bit unlucky)

1. Run your miner first before applying meds
2. Close your meds first before stopping your miner

Hi
I have tons of GTX1080 (various brand) and GTX1080ti

all GTX1080ti works with this mod

however lot GTX1080 cannot apply this mod, PC will crash upon starting the mod, not even started claymore miner yet

All crash PC having 6pc of GTX1080 with latest driver 391.35 and using claymore 11.6 (same configuration with non crash PC)
Applying revA didnt help also

Any help much appreciated.

Thank you

I rather suspect you are going to have to provide more details if you want help. At the very least, what brands are the cards, what overclocks/power limits are applied and how are they applied (e.g. - AfterBurner)?

Dear Sir

Brand is not working - MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X (6 GPU)
Using MSI AB :
core clock -100
PL 70%
memory  0 (or any overclocking setting , even +50)

Upon further review , it produce artefacts immdietely upon opening the program then the rig crash

Other brand will be investigated later one by one (because I have multiple brand)

However GTX 1080 Zotac AMP! and AMP! Extreme working perfectly

Thank you for the good works!
