3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: All in ETH now? on: August 02, 2018, 03:40:24 AM
I believe Ethereum will have a good growth this year.
I have no idea why Ethereum was dumped even harder than most other altcoins.
If I were you, I'd put half of my money in ETH and the rest in some top 200 altcoins.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price recovering slowly on: August 02, 2018, 03:39:27 AM
Generally speaking, bitcoin and ethereum are the most stable coins.
But the performance of ethereum is much worse than that of bitcoin's.
I have no idea why Ethereum was dumped even harder than most other altcoins.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now a good time to invest in ICO? on: August 02, 2018, 03:37:19 AM
Although it will give you good return to invest in some ICOs, it is also probable you will lose your money.
I have encountered too many ICOs that are dumped so hard.
It seems that most of the ICOs in 2018 failed. The golden age of ICOs are gone already.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ICOs will fail in 2018 on: August 02, 2018, 03:34:42 AM
It seems true that most of the ICOs in 2018 failed. The golden age of ICOs are gone already.
I spent lots of time on ICOs in 2018 and made almost no profit from it.
I should have invested my money in something else, like SelfKey.
7  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bull run of BTC start soon? on: August 02, 2018, 03:32:56 AM
Although I am optimistic about bitcoin's future, I am not sure when the bearish market will end.
I am glad that bitcoin was pumped a little bit last month, although another correction was happening soon.
It is clear that people are still interested in bitcoin. We just need to keep calm.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in cryptocurrency and ICOs? on: August 02, 2018, 03:30:36 AM
If you wanna make good profit and are willing to take the risk, cryptocurrency is perfect for you.
As to ICOs, you should only invest into the best ones. Most ICOs are scams.
How to avoid being scammed? Do your own research. Learn from all kinds of resources.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL or REGRET!!! on: August 02, 2018, 03:20:44 AM
It is hard to be free of regret in cryptocurrency.
We are making many decisions everyday and there is chance that some of them are wrong.
Even if we hold, we are also making the decision to hold. You can also regret for good reasons.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This can be addictive!! on: August 02, 2018, 03:19:18 AM
It is normal for cryptocurrency traders to check market price all the time.
We also know it does nothing good. Frequent trading only makes you more anxious and make wrong decisions.
We should make better use of our time to study projects.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The longer the bounty, the fewer the earnings? on: August 02, 2018, 03:18:10 AM
That is correct. You have to calculate how much you get from a week's work.
If the bounty duration is very long and the reward is similar to a much shorter one, why would you take the longer one?
Another disadvantage of long bounty is that you risk more time if it is a scam.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Predictiing Cryptocurrency price.. Is it possible? on: August 02, 2018, 03:15:59 AM
I don't think it is possible to make accurate predictions of cryptocurrency price.
The price is more likely to be affected by the market atmosphere or all kinds of news.
With that being said, I am optimistic that bitcoin will be pumped this year.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Really? Next Bitcoin is Litecoin on: August 02, 2018, 03:14:50 AM
That question should have been asked many years ago.
The result is clear: Litecoin is far from becoming the next bitcoin, and will never be. It is only a copy of bitcoin.
Next bitcoin should be superior in technology.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: All in ETH now? on: July 25, 2018, 07:23:56 AM
I am pretty bullish on ETH. That is why I have more than 30% of my portfolio in it, only after bitcoin.
I also hold bitcoin and many other coins to diversify my portfolio.
ETH is undervalued now for sure. I'd buy more ETH if BTC gains more dominance.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This can be addictive!! on: July 25, 2018, 07:22:12 AM
I understand you well since I did the same thing.
If you don't wanna make frequent trade, you should avoid checking market every day.
Just put your orders and bids there, and check them every week or month.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or ETH in 2018 on: July 25, 2018, 07:17:12 AM
I hold both BTC and ETH, just in case one of them pumps a lot.
I used to think ETH will pump first. What happened in fact is that bitcoin gained more dominance.
If BTC dominance surpasses 50%, I'd switch part of my bitcoin into ETH.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IS CRYPTO TRADING ADDICTION? on: July 25, 2018, 07:14:22 AM
It is for sure that cryptocurrency trading is addictive for many people.
If a person is used to trade stocks, he will be crazy while trading cryptocurrency.
He might find it hard to fall asleep, since the market in open 24/7.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH is the next generation of BTC? on: July 25, 2018, 07:10:43 AM
Ethereum and bitcoin are very different. I don't think it is proper to call it the next generation of bitcoin.
If you mean ETH will be the top 1 cryptocurrency in coinmarketcap, I think it is possible.
Ethereum has been the most widely accepted cryptocurrency in crypto world.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FAKE ICOs Bounties. What to do? on: July 25, 2018, 07:08:34 AM
I don't think we can do too much about these Fake bounties.
I admit that there are too many scams in the market now. All we can do is be more cautious before joining any bounty.
It was often good experience to join bounty campaign last year.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you selling your altcoins so soon? on: July 25, 2018, 07:06:36 AM
I don't think we should be surprised that people sell altcoins soon after it is distributed.
We all know that most of the altcoins will die eventually.
We sell altcoins because we think they might be worth nothing someday.
