Quick question, sry if this has been asked before...
But am I allowed to buy an additional stake on the Nxt Asset Exchange if i'm already a stakeholder?
yes you can buy up to 2 stakes on AE. anything over 2 stakes wont be redeemed. how do you prevent a person spreading his stakes among his own accounts ? you cant really lol its just 2 stakes per account really.. just to make things awkward for those who want to acquire loads of them! yea i dont see the point of having that "rule" =.=' It makes initial NEM distribution look better and require some more works for people with large stake. Some economic disincentive I think. |

this coin waste too long time
many brain cells your head doesnt have look man, if this is how you are going to be treating potential investors, well you are obviously not the person cut out for any public liason type position. So you're saying the _beta_ _might_ come out in _August???_ the guy has a definite point in that case! And you're just belittling him because perhaps English isn't his first language? Kodty can say what he wants because he is not a NEM public person. He is a volunteer. You all can always say whatever you want. That doesn't make it a good idea. I have a lot less to lose than you guys. I have nothing to lose. I rather have a volunteer than an investor. So stay away if you wish. |

Sure you can. You can issue yourself a stake and sell it for NXT, then you sell that NXT for BTC and that BTC into your fiat currency of choice. We can't. Read the rules. Tokens are for current stakeholders ONLY. So none of the core team are stakeholders? I did spend about an hour reading through forum posts on this subject, just FYI.
I also am curious if there is a release date in sight, or any such estimation. Thank you.
Best estimation can be found in NEM summary. Also, just trying to help: you should put this information up on your website or else make it more easily available. I know you guys are busy but you would help allay potential investor concerns by doing this. Investor's handout is being prepared. In short, tokens are available if current stakeholders request and there are 1000 of them (25%). It is a nice way to let out some steam and let newcomers to be in. Dev. team have no demand for tokens. |

That's an example that people buy things based on ideas and the team. I don't have an opinion about current price of NEM token. Whatever the price is, the core team has no direct benefit.
I understand your point, I just don't like unbased speculation which serves basically as propaganda, which you have to admit there is a little bit going on around here. So the core team has no NEM holdings whatsoever? Please correct me if I'm wrong but the value of a stake is, for the time being, the only indicator of the future price of NEM. If stakes start going for 10 BTC each, I would have to imagine it would make you at least somewhat happy. If it didn't, you'd be kicking yourself for not giving yourself a bigger founding stake. I'm sorry, I'm doing my best to not be a jerk. I just want to understand how the core team has no direct benefit from the price of a NEM token. Its like saying Jeff Bezos has no direct benefit from the price of Amazon stock even though he has hundreds of millions of dollars worth of stock options. I also am curious if there is a release date in sight, or any such estimation. Thank you. No direct benefit NOW. Because we are not being able to sell anything. The NEM price on the NXT asset exchange is extremely low.
NXT price is: 0.0000898 BTC/NXT supply @ 1 billion
NEM price should be 0.0000224 BTC/NEM , NEM supply @ 4 billion
NEM price is actually 1,000,000 for 17,500 NXT = 1,000,000 for 1.5715 BTC = 0.0000015715 BTC/NEM
so that's pretty attractive. People buying at these low prices will easily make 10X - 20X their investment once NEM launches.
Based on what kind of analysis? There's not even a hard launch date yet. Right now, NEM has a value of 0.000000000000000000 anything. NEM right now has the value of what people are willing to pay, like everything else. I guess that is not difficult to understand, or at least it shouldn't. Sorry friend but you should save being a dick for when you are right. You can't pay anything for NEM right now because it doesn't exist right now. The only thing that exists are tokens which represent NEM. So my simple question to you is, how did you come up with such liberal projections for a coin that hasn't been released yet? How can people invest in a start-up when it has NOTHING yet ? Aren't you the one that's supposed to be telling us?? That's an example that people buy things based on ideas and the team. ADD: there should be a good price somewhere based on the risk you are willing to take and the amount of information/ analysis you do. it's a disappointing experience to see that against all expectations of thread members, the price of nemstakes (AE) is steadily decreasing.
I was one of the first buyers and now I have to suffer from my greed.
I am crypto -nonexpert and a poor pensioner and was just looking for someone who gives me comfort. Thanks to the community for your compassion. I would say: take a longer perspective. NEM would not fail your trust. Be active to protect your investment as well  Hmmhh Pensioner and "take a longer perspective"  ? I already make moor baths to get used lying in moist soil. "take a longer perspective" like in 6 months ? and not two days. I am tempted to insert a joke here but you may be offended  @utopianfuture , I think the shortest and wait until the launch of NEM. right? I don't understand the question but I will try to answer. There is no need to exchange stakes for tokens. Waiting for the launch is probably simplest and most profitable. |

I am surprised that the (large) majority of volunteer forms are filled by people who does not frequently appear in this thread. We wouldn't know them if there is no survey. I think there is a lot of hidden potential in the community. I would like to put the update result here everyday so the community can see what sort of people we are.
