cgminer is 3.1.1 i have both bitparking addresses that are published on the site, and a few "backup pools" (aka the pools i used before ) But i have the same config on each miner. I have now left only the bitparking ones, lets see. i run it like this: rm -f /home/rcocchiararo/bitcoin/cgminer.log /cgminer-3.1.1/cgminer -o stratum+tcp://mmpool.bitparking.com:3333 -u rcocchiararo -p p -o http://mmpool.bitparking.com:15098 -u rcocchiararo -p p --auto-fan --auto-gpu --gpu-engine 800-975,850-975 --gpu-memclock 300,300 --gpu-fan 0,20-80 --temp-target 65 --temp-overheat 75 -I 9 2>>/home/rcocchiararo/bitcoin/cgminer.log (those clocks are from the 5830 because im reboothing the one with 5850 EDIT: ok, it works now

Hello again One of my rigs is telling me this (it worked fine up to yesterday) [P]ool management [G]PU management ettings [D]isplay options [Q]uit GPU 0: 63.0C 1852RPM | 323.5M/321.8Mh/s | A:1 R:0 HW:0 U:0.06/m I: 9 GPU 1: 62.5C 1498RPM | 350.3M/320.2Mh/s | A:7 R:0 HW:0 U:0.41/m I: 9 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

All my machines have cgminer 3.1.1, most of them have HD5830 (one or 2) This particular machine has 2 HD5850. It runs ubuntu 11.something, 32 bits. Any idea why? (it does get some accepted here and there)

hi
i'm new to this pool.
2 questions:
1) If i want to use new wallets, do i need a new user id? (i think so) 2) if i completed the info for BTC, NMC, DVC and IX wallets, should i see the 4 coins when i check my balance ? Bitcoin is missing
thx

hi again
i wanted to try a new pool, and it happens to have empty paswords.
I can use that with the .conf file, but i have my stuff configured with scripts with each parameter.
i tried leaving just -p, nothing at all pasword related, or -p -1 (the config file has -1 for pasword when you manuallly run cgminer, input no pasword and generate it), and no luck.
Is there any way to use a pool with no pasword without using .conf file ?

If I am not mistaken, anabis needs apache on every rig, which means the rpc calls are all localhost and not on network. webmonitor needs each rig to allow network api calls. conf should look like this.: "api-listen" : true, "api-network" : true, "api-port" : "4028",
Also, i am using linuxcoin and windoz7. whenever I first start cgminer after a new install, I have to 'allow' the program in windows security i can confirm that Anubis needs nothing on the mining rigs (i know this cause i stuck a 5830 on my mother's pc, which runs windows 7 and no web server xD) I also have that set, so im lost. My Apache2 + php5 server is running on debian, its just a stock apache2 and php5 install. Maybe i have something missing ?

i still can't make this work anubis works, but this reports all miners as beeing offline downloaded v0.5, still not working.
did you manage to fix it ? I had that issue (arround page 3) and was never able to fix it. Today i installed a new linux server (i separated the mining functions, too much trouble for my family there ), and still nothing. What puzzles me is that anubis works just fine, and they use the same stuff. I rather have this tho, which does not need mysql

i finally went back to my parents house and pluged a display to my ubuntu machine (the one i updated from 10.04 to 10.11 using ssh, in order to be able to use cgminer instead of phoenix, and ended up with a non working rig ) The problem was that the latest drivers, at least with the 2.4 sdk, cause some error / segmentation fault. I thought that was because i was running with ssh -X, but that was not the case. I then installed the latest one from synaptic (older than the newst one from AMD website) and all was fine. ps: i updated to the latest from whatever i was using on 10.04, because the ones from 10.04 were not installable on 10.11 (they were some older drivers). Also, upgrading had disabled the autologin, but i had no way of knowing that xD
