621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I sell right after the nearest fork? on: November 01, 2017, 09:06:00 PM
I'm thinking BTC will be going up nearing the fork and go down again after the fork, just like with the other forks.

please add into an exchanges like cryptopia

I think some people will regret selling on etherdelta once it hits regular exchanges.
623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Bitcore- BTX - SEGWIT - BLOOM - ONLINE - new virtual fork 1:0.5 of Bitcoin on: October 31, 2017, 02:03:38 PM
Is anybody working on getting BTX on Bittrex, Poloniex, HitBTC, YoBit, Liqui?  New exchange listing = pump.  This coin could easily be worth $100+.

I think they're working on it.

Just to double-check I understand it right:

minestro - do you mean that I just miss one week of 3%?
and after registration I will get it from next week again?

If you register now you won't have to do anything no more and you will get the monday airdrops from now on.

Cashless society sounds good but will never be a reality, how else will governments suppress their people.  Roll Eyes
625  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: World govts fear Bitcoin because they can’t tax it – John McAfee on: October 29, 2017, 03:28:54 PM
This is like kicking in an open door. Yes of course governments want to stay in control, who would have thought  Roll Eyes
626  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins lost?! on: October 29, 2017, 12:21:04 AM
Hi,

Yesterday i did a bitcoin transaction from my wallet to another one.
Unfortunately my pc crashed some minutes after i did the transaction because my electronic protection (dont know if you call it like that in english) went down.
Now my Bitcoins are in the chain and they dont reach the target.
Are they lost now or is there any way to get them back?
Transaction id is 4a6f8364b84b35cc378240c3bbe737ba47a1191d2420aecb238077d3e676fe6d if that matters.

Greetings

Your transactions is just not confirmed yet, you can wait it out, it will be processed Smiley
627  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fees make me angry on: October 29, 2017, 12:02:17 AM
The fee's are more favorable to bigger amounts, it's very annoying making smaller transactions.

uh I thought price at $5.50 was too high and weeks later now its impossible for me to get in  Embarrassed Embarrassed

Well with the current supply it is actually still very cheap if you are using any sort of valuation tool like metcalfe's law.

Yes I think this is still a great opportunity.
There are quiet a few opportunities in the market but I just rate this one as very safe and solid opportunity for anyone who does not like to take a risk.

I will see If I can get a small dip but I will not be surprised if it does not take place.  Smiley

This coin has real potential to challenge BCC and BTG.

We have a very bright future ahead of us in my opinion, BTX is going to experience a lot of growth the coming months.
629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DAO][VR] The Movement | Unstoppable Organization | Get Invited Oct. 31 on: October 28, 2017, 11:33:43 PM
I'm very interested in the Blockchain and Virtual Reality. I'm fascinated with the concept of a DAO.
Just recently I ordered an Oculus Rift, I'm ready and stoked to dive into this area for the years to come

Recently bought the vive, so far it has been amazing.
VR is definitely here to stay,

What I am failing to understand at the moment is how the coins will be transferred to holders of btc automatically? That doesnt make much sense to me right now and I hope somebody can clarify. For one I would get a small

amount of BTX but that is not my concern here it is simply how can they auto transfer those coins without BTC holders having BTX wallets?  Huh

They do it through creating a snapshot of the bitcoin blockchain, people can then claim through their private keys.
632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcore - BTX - SEGWIT - BLOOM - ONLINE - CORE 0.14.1 525923+ BTX Claimed on: October 26, 2017, 03:12:08 PM
But it would be amazing if some exchanges would do the work and credit btx to all their btc hodlers. Have there been contact with cryptopia, and other exchanges regarding this?

Definitely. I would also very much like to see some distribution through exchanges.
633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why should governments allow bitcoin to continue grow? on: October 26, 2017, 12:24:02 AM
Maybe the government also wants to see people's lives become more prosperous because now to look for an offline job is also quite difficult so the way out in reducing the unemployment of sustainable governments should really give up the existence of bitcoin as one place that is allowed to be utilized For the community in generating income every month to meet all economic needs at all times.

No they don't care about those things as much as they do about keeping control over where and how the money flows.
634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your opinion on eBTC token? on: October 26, 2017, 12:14:12 AM
It's just a token without any real purpose, an ethereum contract consisting of a few lines of code.
635  Economy / Speculation / Re: Again the bitcoin price falls to $ 4000? on: October 25, 2017, 11:55:03 PM
We will still see big swings especially before the November fork, I guess it'll go up nearing the fork again
636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC for taxi on: October 25, 2017, 01:00:08 AM
I like taxi. I think this is a good idea. I hope in my city also accept bitcoin. because everyday I use taxi.
i think its very helpful to know that it is very easy to use taxi when it accepts bitcoin as payment exchange for fiats

It can be done easily yeah, but would only be viable for long rides looking at the transaction fee's.

There are many ppl, who claim empty wallets???

It literally doesnt make sense.

Please load your addresses or you wouldnt profit from the airdrop!

Greetz
Steve

I think to some people it's not clear this comes either 1:1 from btc or from buying extra btx, they just read airdrop  Roll Eyes

638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when Bitcoin reaches its Max Supply? on: October 23, 2017, 03:05:52 AM
It's either going to skyrocket because of bitcoi'sn scarcity, or it's going to tank because of the missing miners, a big driving force on the btc price.
639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why and Who ALLOW the Bitcoin Hardfork? on: October 23, 2017, 03:01:28 AM
That's the beauty of open source software my friend. Forks are a regular occurrence, nothing to worry about.
640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DAO] 🚂 The Movement | Unstoppable Organization on: October 22, 2017, 12:40:28 AM
I was thinking if would make sense a new thread with the matter in the title (ex 170 places up for invitation) and explaining what kind of profiles we are looking for. Then we see who is responding. What do you think?

It would be nice if this would help the project.

Unnecessary imo. And we're not going to throw this thread with (soon) 200+ pages in the trash  Wink
